I know Backstreet Boys' did not break the record...but so what?! It's just counted in the states, not worldwide. BSB sold probably more than 5 million. They broke the most international record sold! That's way better than NSTYNC! I'll keep on listening to their music and buying their records until i can't hear or until i'm dead.Bye ! BSB have wonderful fans. KTBSPA!!!!! Irene

ok..all these people are hypocrites ( i think thats how u spell it)...before the album came out all of u guys were like "OH THEY WILL SMASH NSYNC'S RECORD!!" and now that they F A I L E D everyone's like "well records dont mean anything anyway". personally, records dont mean anything to me..i think that its the music that is really the issue..but wat bothers the hell out of me is that u guys cannot acknowledge that nsync has the record and is therefore considered a more "popular" boyband...just admit it...bsb no longer have the title..so just drop it..u shouldn't have put ur foot in ur mouths in the first place..(like aj did...eewww)

What can I say to you American girls? What a shame!!! How can you prefer nsync over bsb?! Do you have ears or eyes?I´m proud to know that I helped the bsb to break the international record! But I really thought they would break the US record... but you weren´t there! Only those who have contributed can consider themselves BSB fans! The worst part is that now Nsync you´ll brag even more about their so-called talent! Pitiful! At least we know that our beloveds are really talented and that THE ENTIRE WORLD LOVES THEM!!!! These American girls are so fickle! You don´t deserve them! I´m not criticizing those who are their fans at all! You do deserve to have them in your country! It's okay that BSB didn't break *NSYNC's record. At least we did it fairly and didn't go out buying 5 or more copies. BSB need to be proud of themselves for selling 5 million worldwide! *NSYNC isn't famous worldwide like BSB is so they could never do that. Don't think that I'm dissing *NSYNC because I went to their concert last night and I'm a fan of both groups! Anyway Black and Blue is tight and I can't wait to get tickets for their tour! KTBSPA!!!

Sorry, I didn't even care much for the record breaking till now, but I am still happy they broke that ww record and the back to back record!! Hi Y'all!! BSB fans are all one unit, right?? So, BSB didn't break NSYNC's record, BUT we did break the WORLD WIDE RECORDS with 5 Million in it's first week. Congratulations BSB.Crazy L....now no one can laugh at us can they...WHOOOOO!!! 5 million, AND we broke our record from Millenium!!AND we broke the BACK TO BACK record. That's two records, but 3 in a way!!! And, BSB outsold NSYNC with just their last two albums as for how many copies sold. For NSYNC fans who think I'm saying bad stuff about NSYNC, I'm not...I promise.

So BSB didn't break N-Sync record, big deal, the N-Sync fans were the only ones who were obsessed with that. BSB have the record as the first act to achieve MILLION-PLUS FIRST WEEK SALES with BACK-TO-BACK ALBUMS, sorry N-SYNC and their fans but this is one record you all can't claim. Also they sold five million copies world wide, that is another record N-Sync will never break since their fans are only in the U.S. Now N-Sync has the pressure on them, they are going to be expected to sell as many as NSA or double that.

Hey to everyone who decides to read this!!!I know that every Backstreet fan out their loves them as much as I do. They do so much for us. Need an example? Here, when they win their awards, they never forget to thank who? that's right, the fans...They always make an album that they can back up one hundred percent,that they are truly proud of, they never just push albums out, not caring if they are of the highest quality or not, just so they can make a dollar. For the Backstreet Boys, its always been about making people feel good about themselves and loving the music, the money has be just an added bonus for the Backstreet Boys.They truly do so much for us, as silly as that may sound, they really do. You want another example? Okay, how about last year, when they added in more dates to thd "Millennium" tour, so that as many people as possible would be able to come and enjoy their terrific show and anyone who went to the "Millennium" tour last year, including myself knows first hand how terrific it truly was. At this point, you're probably saying to yourself or out loud, "what's this girl's point to all of this?", here's my point, I have given you just a couple of examples of what the Backstreet Boys have done for us, now its our turn to show them how much we love them and appreciate them for everything they've done for us. Well, it's probably too late, but I'll mention this anyway, we need to break the the record of most albums sold in a week. We need to let the Backstreet Boys know that we still care about them and we want them to continue on making us albums, we can't let their fears come true, how I believe it was Kevin that said he expected only fifteen fans to show up when they came to TRL to take about "Black And Blue". We also need to keep them at number One on TRL as well. Two reasons why a) so we can break their previous record of thier's when "Larger Thank Life" was number one, we can only allow the Backstreet Boys to be less than number one four times, anything after that and they will not break "Larger Than Life's" record. I know that the Backstreet Boys don't have the time to watch TRL, but you know that someone does watch it and they tell them. There should be no reason why we as the fans allow the Backstreet Boys to be less than Number One. b) we need to use TRL to show every non-BSB fan that the Backstreet Boys are going to stay around a long time if not forevet. We need to prove to the critics that the Backstreet Boys have a huge and strong fan base, no matter what they think or say about them or their albums. I know that there is a huge and strong fan base, but we need to show everyone else that we will not allow the Backstreet Boys to fade away like all other male groups. The Backstreet Boys are not a "boy band", they are a "Male Group". They have true talent that if you're anyone, you'll be able to see and hear. I mean we mean so much to them, a strong example of that is on Millennium, they made a song just for us, "Larger Than Life" and they mada another one on the "Black And Blue" album, "Everyone". They continue to top themselves for themselves and us, the fans. Let's help them see that The Backstreet Fans are getting larger and stronger with every day that comes along. Let's show them that we will not allow them to stop singing, because we truly LOVE THE BACKSTREET BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone who reads this and who helps the Backstreet Boys rise above the rest!!!!!!!!!!!!

If B & B beats No strings attached's record thats great but if it doesn't it doesn't make it any worse of an album.. It doesn't mean Backstreet won't last much longer(Bsb will last forever).. My goodness... 2.4 million thats alot. That will be hard to beat but if it doesn't Oh well life goes on... I think the fans make a bigger deal out of the beating the record then the guys do.
