The song that helps the most is ROLL WITH IT. ACtually 95% of their songs help me. I have the words to ROLL WITH IT taped up on my wall in my room, so when i need assurance, i read it and put the song on until i calm down. I had problems, maybe not with suicide, drugs or anything like that, but different people have different problems. I'd rather not share what happened to me(it's nothing all that serious), but you know what it's serious to ME. If I cry myself to sleep and all that. I KNOW lots of people have it worse than me, and I am thankful for what I have, but you know what? There are a lot of things I DO go through, some serious in general and some serious to ME and no one else. A lot of people don't know what I have to go through. Anyway, when I first heard a BSB song, it was AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME. I really liked it, I mean REALLY. I loved the way Nick started it out, "Although lonliness has always been a friend of mine.." I could relate to that. And, Brian's voice blew mw away, and the way they harmonize together is unbelievable. I didn't know BSB sang it. Then I heard EVERYBODY, I was hooked. It was as if one minute I was looking out of the car window mad, sad lonely or something, and the next minute I was grinning when it came on. I was obsessed in finding out who these people were, but I wasn't into internet then, so of course I didn't know. Do any of you know what it's like to crave a song? That's how it was for me with I WANT IT THAT WAY. It's still the song that describes me the most. I still didn't know who these guys were, but all I had was to hear the voices and I could recognize. Finally, while flipping through channels, I heard IWITW being played on MTV. It was the beginning of BACKSTREET LIVE, the release of Millenium. Finally I could put faces with the voices that entranced me for months. I have nothing against NSYNC, I DO think that they are talented, I just prefer BSB. I don't care if BSB ARE gay, WHICH THEY ARE NOT, it's all about the music. And somehow, while listening to that music, I started to care about them. I know that I don't know who they REALLY are, and I'd like to know then, but you know what? For now, I like what I hear, I like what they think on TV, I love them. I can truly say, even without knowing them completely, I love them for who they are and seem to be when I DO see them, and for what they've given me: A meaning to figure out who I am and not to give up. I know that I seem to have the record for the longest message ever, and I am sorry. Keep the Backstreet Pride Alive. Lil Bec, thank you for making me realize why I like BSB again, and all you BSB fans, whom I will probably never know, yet you know what I am talking about. I am proud to be part of this fanbase.
