Good sales - but why weren't the Boys of Backstreet closer to 'N Sync's record of 2.4 million? Because of one reason I believe - "Shape Of My Heart." I personally enjoy this song. But it wasn't the smash BSB needed. If the boys chose "The Call" as their first single (which they were gonna do until they changed their minds) Black & Blue would have sold many many more copies than it really did. Nsync's No Strings Attached started off with a huge hit - "Bye Bye Bye." If Nsync would have had "This I Promise You" as their first single their sales wouldn't near as high. The order of singles on Black & Blue should be: 1. The Call 2. Shape Of My Heart 3. Get Another Boyfriend 4. I Promise You 5.
