It was just stupid, and i don't know what was going through their minds. I know they would feel very upset if they were famous and someone stole their pets. To be perfectly honest, I heard the news about the kidnapped dogs on a local radio station and though it was sorta funny-my brother thought the whole fuss was "stupid". But I think that the two girls do deserve to have some sort of charges brought up against them. I am sure that Brian and his fiancee, like any dog owners, love their pets VERY MUCH. And kidnapping them was a very immature, childish prank. What were they going to obtain from it-a visit from a worried, frantic Backstreet Boy?? I have read that the Boys enjoy the closeness they have with their fans, but this seeks to break down that closeness. I know not all fans are like that-kudos to them!! But the fans like this will only ruin it for everyone. To anyone who reads this, thanks for viewing my rant. Keep up the awesome job on this website and I am looking forward to the next BSB album. Submitted by Uhhh from uhh uhh Date: Wed Jul 26 12:43:56 2000 I think the dognappers kidnapped Tyk and Litty because they were overobsessive fans who wanted a piece of Brian somehow. Since Brian is known 2 be very close 2 Tyk, the theives decided 2 take him. Little did they know that Brian would be so upset by this to go as far as start a search party 4 his dogs, and the ametuer burglars were intimidated by his actions and promptly gave up the pooches. My other theory is that the 2 teenage gurls were huge fans of Brian and were hoping 2 be able 2 meet him by stealing his dogs. Knowing he would probably offer a generous reward and a heartfelt thank you 2 the rescuers of his beloved pets, the fans stole Tyk and Litty in hopes of returning the 2, saying that they found them and took care of them 4 Brian. Then, 2 the fans' delight, Brian would meet them in person 2 retrieve his dogs, thank the 2 profusely, and offer them a generous reward, of which the gurls would not decline, but ask him also 4 a picture and autograph. Little did they know that Brian was involving a search party AND the police, the gurls were frightened of getting caught and swiftly acted 2 make sure Brian got his pets back b4 further damage was caused. Either way, this was a horrible incident 2 occur, whether he be a Backstreet Boy or not. U do NOT tresspass n2 other people's property and steal their pets, no matter how big a fan u might be (ha ha...) Brian is lucky he got his pets back. 2 many people who have stolen animals DO NOT return them. He means so much to me, he's like my best friend. At first when I heard about those "2 fans" I was like what the? If u are a bsb fan arent u suppose to make them happy?? And now that the dogs are recovered I am soooo glad! I was wishing for it each night. I just thought of something, the girls, they left the dogs in the street no protection what-so-ever. Who knows what "wacko" could have seen em??? Anyway, if these suppose "fans" hear this well I hope u regret what u both did next time you try a dumb thing like that again u wont get away so easy. I'm happy that they got Tyk and Litty back but for someone to steal them is just wrong. But if an average person's dogs were stolen from them, the whole world wouldn't be weeping and crying about it would they? The situation of Brian's dogs being stolen is overrated. Since fans know what his dogs look like it would be easy for them to bring them back to him. But if my dog was stolen nobody would care about it being stolen, I would have to search for it myself. I know that BSB fans are going to start being upset about my comment, but that is my opinion so just leave it at that.
