I'm sure that both Brian and Leighanne feel very invaded. They're not even safe in their own home. Regardless of whether the dognappers were fans or not did not give them the right to take those dogs from their home. It didn't help their case or any other fans. Now I'm sure that both Brian and Leighanne will be much more guarded after this incident. No, I do not think those two girls are fans at all if they would resort to taking two living and breathing animals. The situation may have gotten out of hand. I think that Brian and Leighanne should have pressed charges. If anything they should have set an example. Taking flowers and grass from Nick Carter's front lawn is one thing but taking two dogs is a completely different issue. I hope that nothing like this occurs either to the Backstreet Boys or any other celebrity. It was a pretty low thing to do. I've hoped not only that the two girls have learned their lesson but that Brian or Leighanne will not think that all their fans are so desperate to meet them that they would take something as precious to them as their animals. But people shouldn't do that, regardless if your famous or not, cuz it's just wrong. Owners care highly about their pets and would never want anything bad such as that to happen to their sweeties:) Well, I know I wouldn't! If someone took my dog, I'd offer an award just like Brian did, but at least one of them had the heart to give them back. Don't they know just how much it would have hurt for Brian and Leighanne to have completely lost their dogs? They're like family and when someone steals their pets it hurts and it's scary not to know if you're ever going to see them again. Someone stole my dog Julie out of my back yard before I got home from school one day and I cried. We found her two days later at one of my FRIEND'S house. I never spoke to that girl again because when Julie came up missing I didn't know what I'd do without her. You have to be one sick puppy (no pun intended) to steal someone's dog, no matter who their owners are or how much the dogs are worth, personal or otherwise. I think these were 2 dumb girls with no life and nothing better to do than stalk Brian and Leighanne and attempt to be part of their lives by stealing their dogs. Its sick, and I would have been sad if anything happened to the dogs because I love animals. And then what's up with these people saying Brian was taking the Atlanta police away from their duties. I'm sorry, but when my dog ran away, I called the police. I was freaking out. So I suggest you try and go through having a pet dissappear before judging. Besides, the police here spend most of their free time in the donut shops, so I am sure the ones over there had enough time on their hand to help a civilian, whether he's a Backstreet Boy or not. When its all over, Brian is just a normal guy, and this is way over his head. So you all psychotic fans who like to stalk the Backstreet Boys, go to a doctor, get some medicine, and listen to their music. That's why you like them, right?
