Those girls...*sigh*. For those of u with pets' out there, u know exactly what I'm talking about when I say that your pets' are your family. I have 3 sweet cats' that I've adopted, and if I found out that somebody stole them, I would've reacted the same way. I think it's obsessive fans' like that, that make the Backstreet Boys' inaccessible. Nick had to put up a gate because of fans' stealing his GRASS, poor AJ lives in a house that resembles Disney World(shut off from other ppl), Howie and Kevin won't tell people where they live, and now someone steals Roks dogs....what next? I would've pressed charges, but by them not, it just shows where their concerns lie...with the health and safety of their babies, Tyk and Litty Leigh.

I think that was very dumb. I understand that the girls that did it are fans, but that was no way to show it. it was a very wrong thing to do and i admire Brian for having so much kindness in his heart and not pressing charges.

I have to agree that this was blown out of porportion. I can understand Brian and Leighanne wanting their dogs back,so I don't blame them for the over-reaction. The Mtv news coverage, though, was a bit much. The fake caring many commentators gave the story was pretty amusing, though. And yet, I have to give credit where credit is due.... We wouldn't have had to suffer through any of that if two pathetic teenage girls - with no lives and apparent problems with living in reality with everyone else - hadn't stolen two defenseless little dogs. It wasn't neccessarily low in the sense that it was wrong and heartbreaking. It was low in that.... well, you just don't mess with somebody's pets. There's really no need for that. The entire situation is laughable and just plain sad. I'm happy that Bri and Leigh got their dogs back, because that means there are two less stupid people in this world who are in charge of human OR animal life.

I think they were just trying to get some attention. I don't think it was nice of them to take that poor little puppy. I'm just glad he's back safe and sound in Brian's arms.

I think it really shows how low people would go in this world. I am close to someone involved in this, and it absolutely devestated them when the dogs were taken. It also shows how low fans would go to get "into" the life of their favorite boy band member. I think it's stupid, and aboslutely insane that these girls would do this. Too bad Leighanne and Bri didn't press charges, they shouldv'e.

I think it was wrong for the two teenage fans to take Brian and Leighann's dogs but I think all the attention as gone a little over the top. People report in stolen dogs all the time and you have never once seen web sites and radio stations etc. go into a frenzy trying to find them. If it were people that were kidnapped or being blackmailed that would be a totally different thing but they are just dogs and I think people were to frantic to get them back. The Atlanta police department did a fine job getting them back without all the fans calling. Also, it might give another crazy fan the idea to steel pets from other stars. To sum it up people over reacted to the whole thing and were obseesed with finding the dogs almost as obsessed as the fans were that stole them.

I feel very strongly about this whole dognapping thing! There is a point of overobsession that dognapping crosses by like 20 times! I mean, yah sure, take the underwear or shirt they left behind, as long as its not their dog! Think about how you would feel if someone stole your dog. Thats rediculous. Brian and Leighanne must have been devastated. I know I would have been. By taking the dog, you were hurting the person who owned it. Why the Hell would u want to hurt Brian if u are his fan??????

k ppl im sorry but im gonna be blunt right now... this was taking being a fan too far. come on being a fan is fine and even being a lil obsessed is kewl but when u take things that belong to the guys its wrong. especially taking things as precious as there dogs! ppl we need to grow up and realize that these are the kinda things that the guys hate about there lives and would want to make them stop doing what there doing. im very happy that they got there dogs back but it was just wrong and taking being a fan too far.

These extreamly obsessive fans give people like me a horrable name. I love the bsb and have to admit i can be obsessive, but i would NEVER take their pet! Dear God, those girls have a problem if they can't realise that what they did was stupid. I think some fans take their obsessions too far, from going to the idol's house to takeing their pets. We all need to remember the BSB are normal guys who just want to live a normal life. Just put your self in thier place. next time you want to visit their home or take their dogs. How dumb, im discusted!
