They help you get through the though times. I know why they took the dog I mean I am almost positive. They probable loved Brain and his music so much that they thought maybe if they would capture his pets then it would be like having a piece of him. I know I would do anything in the world to meet Brian but I know I would not take one of his loved ones. To Brian and his family I hope and pray every night that the dogs are return to you safe and sound. I know if anything would ever happen to my dog abby there would be a missing spot in my heart. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS Submitted by shannon from highland indiana usa Date: Wed Aug 9 13:53:50 2000 this is really the stupiest thing ne one could think of. i have heard about threats to kidnap celebrities children in the past which is scary by itself but when it comes to stealing a celebrities dogs that really is just when the people offically belong in the nut house. brian and leighanne work in the entertainment business, it is their job, their living. Along with this way of life is having to put up with the public and silly details such as having to deal with stalkers and the public not realizing fantasy and realism. These are people not plastic made up robots that work only for your benefot of entertainment. A few years ago these same people that get payed millions of dollars and have news spots and websites about them were once simple nobodys like you and i. There is a saying that says you are a nobody until you are a somebody. Once they reach that level of being the "somebody" their lives are immedatly filled with conqueances that shouldn't be there. in the time that they actually have at home, they shouldn't have to worry about a pet being stolen. they people that did this must really have mental promblems. did they do this for attention or for some phycso reason to get closer to brian and leighanne? i think that it is very kind of them not to press charges because i believe that if i was in their position i wouldn not feel the same way. It's just so ridiculous that their dogs were stolen. I can't believe a FAN would do that. I know Brian and Leigh must have been very hurt... I would die if someone stole my dogs. It's a shame that some fans would go to the extreme like that but it isn't really different from some of the stuff a lot of you othere fans do. Secondly I think that what the dognappers did was very very wrong. And the reason I think these people did what they did was to get attintion. That is the only reason I can come up with.
