Hi! I went to the concert on Saturday and it was so awesome! We had the best seats! (my sister started to cry and the concert hadn't even started) We were in the sixth row and could see almost everything! They sang and danced great as always. The Jungle Brothers were okay, and Willa's voice sounded a little funny (like a baby). Kevin played the piano really well and Nick played the drums great also. I was so excited when they flew over the audienceat the beginning! We saw them being lifted out of a big black box behind us. Brian, Howie, and Nick came to our side the most and at the end, Nick and AJ threw their Maverick's jerseys into the audience. Me and my two sisters had the best time ever! It was so much fun! If you go, bring a camera! We got some great pictures! Well, gtg! KTBSPA!!!

The BSB concert on Friday was AWSOME!!!! First of all, my 6th row seats, turned out to be 1st row seats! I think a lot of people found out their seats were better than they thought.

Anyway, they started out with LTL and came out of surfboards... it was really cool. Brian came over my section, he's so cute. He was making all these faces at the audience and stuff. Kevin was the section over from me. He picked up 2 stuffed animals from the crowd and was flying with his arms like a bird. Of course the fans are going crazy.

Then they did 'Get Down.' I didn't know they would do that song but it was really good. The dance has changed up a little. All the other songs were good too. During Show Me The Meaning, Howie dedicated it to his sister. One of the dancers cried through the whole song! it was sad but it was sooo good.

Mostly on my section of the stage was Brian and Howie. They kind of stay on one part. Finally Kevin came over there on the ENCORE of I want it that Way, and thats when I took this picture. Some girls next to me threw this Jersey at Brian, but then Kevin came back out with it on.

Oh yeah! we got there at 5, and the gates opened at 6:30.. it was soooo cold. These VIP people came up to us and asked us to pass out picture things ( you know you get them when you go in for a free picture? ) so we did that and they gave us the whole set of pictures for doing it, plus we got to go in before everyone else and got a Merchandising Badge. That was fun!

I got like a ton of confetti cause it was all in my coat pockets that was on the chair. Its silver and white : ) At the end.. Howie, Nick, and Kevin ran past us to get off the stage. I didnt get to touch them or anything cause the security guys but it was cool. Howie and Nick had on BSB robes.

Well there is so much more I could tell you about, but thats basically it. Oh yeah, Brian pointed and waved at me. That was sweet ;)

I hope EVERYONE gets to go see BSB cause it was AWSOME. Even my sister liked it, and she listens to Korn and stuff like that.

Okay all you Dallas girls, if you were listening to KISSfm Fri morning from 7:30-9:00, you'll remember a girl named Jennifer who had the oppertunity to win backstage passes and front row seats if she got to a random address and answered the phone when the station called. Well, that's me Gentry, my best friend Jennifer, and my mom, Pam...lol. Well, as unfair and sad as it is, the woman with an eight year old daughter and the 10 minute drive beat us, the 17 year olds with the 40 min drive in morning traffic. But being the bsb fans that we are, we didn't let that bring us down... we went home and me, the procrastinator of the world got my outfit that afternoon... very aj!!!! Let's just say red cowboy hat... my best bud Jenn sported the nicky look, wearing and orange baseball hat... we wanted to stand out....okay skip down to 4:30 that night... N'SYNC fans had out backs and arrived at Reunion video recorder in hand, ready to record the boys arriving in Dallas... and they did.... AJ and Amanda... aj looking mighty fine in his maroon velvety hat, and amanda (barf gag!) wearing butt tight kakie pants, and a black shirt arrived in a white van. They had obviously been shopping; they had 4 or 5 bags. Next, Nick who pulled up in a white car (laying down in the backseat) was hiding from us fans, so keep ur eyes ppeeled when they come to your town...lol! He was wearing black, white, and gray camaflauged pants with a gray long sleeved shirt, was by himself! We're not sure about the other boys and we loaned our video out...oops! The concert was great we really had 3rd row seats... i guess we forgot to tell KISSfm that..we really wanted thoes backstage passes : ). It was the regular preformance, if you want a detailed rundown of the show e-mail me... we are focusing on the behind the sceens action! After the concert: Friday, March 3rd 11:45pm... our N'SYNC angels contacted us to tell us they had followed the bus (this had been well planned out so we could see the end of the show) to the hotel. To make a LOOOOONNNNGGGG story short, we ended up on the bumper of the limo AJ, Howie, friends, girlfriends, and family were taking to the hot spot in Dallas. Special detail: AJ threw out 2 cig buds... is he a chain smoker???? LOL! Note: Howie's limo arrived back at the hotel at 4:30am... we left at 5:30 and AJ still wasen't home.... lol!!! Quite the party animal! We arrived home, and went to bed.... end of March 3rd!

Saturday, March 4th, 2000: 1:30-5:30pm.... we arrived at the hotel and spyed on the busses and back entrence forever! Then, the two busses (who were both parekd in the front parking lot of the hotel) pulled around to the back enterence, and waited,,,, well, we waited till' about 5:30, and AJ walked out... he was wearing some kind of funky hat, a green long sleeved shirt, and baggy kakie pants... he looked damn good! NEWS FLASH: He walked out with a tall girl with short blondish brown hair who was wearing lepord print pants and a black shirt walked out with him... NO AMANDA! YEAH! I yelled "AJ" he looked right at me, waved, and hopped on the bus... Nick was next, he was wearing a backward hat, kakie pants, and a white shirt with blue sleeves... my best bud said he looked really hot even though i just don't see it... LOL. Brian was next... he got on teh bus that was further back and he hid his face and got on. Howie waved A LOT, he was wearing all black i think... and he jumped on the bus, and it started pulling out.... we jumped in our car and drove off right behind the bus.. long story short: they arrived, all got out, aj first, nick second, howie third... i have no clue about kev and bri cause they were on the other bus. They smiled and waved and went into the arena. The concert was great.... I got to see AJ leave... he was shirtless (hell yeah!) and got on a bus with Howie wearing a blue robe over some clothes, and pulled out soooo fast! The other guys waited at least 30 mins... and then finally, Nick walked out holding Willa's hand, got on the bus with her. Bri and Kev got on the bus with Leighanne there too... (our first time to see her.) We followed Nicks bus to Waxahatchie and stopped at a Burger King with them. Nick never got off the bus, but we could see through the window that he was playng Nintendo and he switched from some random game to Super Mario Brothers.. How cute!!! Fifteen minutes later, the Burger King bag wes dilivered to Nick and we turned around :*( It's been rumored that AJ, Howie, Kev, and Bri never left, but that isn't for sure...a friend of a friend said she saw AJ and Howie at McDonalds today. And they were leaving to go to Austin at 2:30pm Sunday for a show that started at 7:30. I guess we'll find out when we see the autograph she got from Howie... LOL. Well, this was the most amazing weekend of my life... I now know i am a true Backsreet Girl and i can't wait to do it again... I hope AJ sticks with his line and does move down here to Dallas, that would be great! LOL... Good luck to thoes of you who haven't seen the boys live yet... it's sooo awesome ! If y'all have any ?'s e-mail me... i'll be happy to help!

I have one word for you guys: AWESOME! I went to the Backstreet Boys concert in Dallas, TX last night, being March 4th. My friend and I had horrible seats until we went on e-bay and won an auction for lower level seats. So four of us girls piled into the back of a Nissan Maxima and rode down to Reunion Arena. We got there about an hour before the Jungle Brothers and Willa, Nick's supposed girlfriend, took the stage. We bought all our souveniers and went inside to find our seats. Reunion Arena was a lot smaller than the rest of us remembered, so we were actually really close. After the hour was up, the lights dimmed and the Jungle Brothers took the stage. Freakin Ya Baby was the best song they did, but their entire show was great. Then Willa took the stage, but I have to say that even though she was o.k., you have to remind people that the Spice Girls thing is out and that an entire arena full of girls doesn't want to see five chicks on stage show off their sexy moves. The lady next me leaned over to me and whispered in my ear " I'm gonna clap because I feel horrible that no one else is clapping- we just want to see the Boys." I feel bad cuz she didn't get the attention she deserved, and she was good, but you can't expect a huge arena full of girls would like it. Anyways, onto the good part.

At 8:30, the lights dimmed again and the dancers marched on stage with their lanterns in hand. I have never heard more loud screams in my life, and I've never screamed so loud either! It was awesome! Anyways, the arena filled with smoke as BSB flew out of the black box on glow-in-the-dark spaceboards on the other side of the arena. As they descended onto the stage with the theme of Star Wars in the background, the music changed into Larger Than Life. They walked around to all the sides of the stage and stood in a uniform pattern and did all this saluting marching stuff. Then came more music, including Kevin playing the piano and Nick playing the drums on "Back To Your Heart." Since Nick is my fav, I was going crazy when he was flying on the bungee cords on my side- it was so awesome. The guys flew around and did all sorts of flips in the air and pretended to walk and stuff- it was cool. Poor Brian looked so relieved when he got down from the air- he's so afraid of heights and he got this relieved look on his face and he wiped his forehead. :) It was so cute. The guys looked awesome in their black leather- let me tell you, the Boys have never looked hotter than they did last night.

Nick's hair was perfectly brushed forward and he looked so fine. Kevin looked gorgeous with his thick eyebrows and naturally good looks. Brian looked awesome as always. And AJ... I mean c'mon.. no words can describe AJ. He looked hot!!! Howie was stylin also. The concert was filled with slick dance moves, smooth harmonies, costume changes, and awesome special effects. hehe Nick is so cute the way he gets into the show- he starts doing his own little sexy moves, and yes, they were SEXY!!! *fans her face with paper* After they had sang most every popular song, they told Dallas goodbye and crawled under the stage. A few minutes later, The popped back up with Dallas Mavericks jerseys on and began singing I Want It That Way. It was so awesome! After the song was over, Nick whispered something into AJ's ear. Then AJ was like " We normally don't do this but..." and he and Nick ripped of their Dallas Mavericks shirts and threw them to the audience. I wasn't lucky enough to even get close to it, but I thought it was cool! They sang a little more I Want It That Way and then descended underneath the stage. My friends and I immediately went out back to watch them get into their tour buses. I saw Nick and waved and screamed to him, but I don't know if he heard me. Then they pulled away, and I have no idea if I'll get to see them again.

Yes, I'll admit, I cried- seeing the guy you want to be like in terms of morals one day, leaves and it tears you apart. If you really want me to explain what I meant by that, I want to be a singer, but I have no idea how to get there. However, I look up to Nick because he respects his family and loves his brothers and sisters with all his heart, he does everything with passion, he doesn't let success get to his head, he doesnt do drugs, he has a charming voice, and he doesn't use profanity in his music. That's more than I can say for a lot of muscians. Also bsb is honest and knows that their fans will love them no matter what. The concert was awesome, and I'll be there watching them show their all next year when they come to Dallas. Keep the Backstreet Pride alive!!!!

Love Always,

Amy

IT WAS MY SECOND AND THIRD TIME SEEING THEM LIVE and they were still hotter than hot, they were SIZZLING! I went to both shows and both shows were out of this world. On the first night, I waited with a ton of other people for an hour at the back enterance to greet the boys as they came. They started arriving around 5:45 or 6 and AJ was first, he came in a white van. It looked like AJ was just going to go straight in, but I could swear he turned and waved when I and a few other girls called his name. Next was Nick, he arrived in a white car and he was sitting in the back seat. A bodyguard or someone opened his door, but Nick took a few seconds before getting out. He looked bothered, but he waved when we screamed. A little while later, two buses pulled up, the first pulled up to the door.

I was told that Howie got out of the first bus, but I didn't see him because I was standing in the wrong spot. Brian got off the second bus and he waved to the crowd repeatedly as he went in. I was going to wait for Kevin, it was getting to chilly for me, so I went in. I and my two friends were sitting in section 127 row E seats 7-9, the tickets I won from mcy.com. The second night, there was such a crowd around the fence that I couldn't get a clear view on any of the boys, but I hung around outside before going in. I took a couple of pictures of Nick's dog and Nick's girlfriend's mother. That night, I and my roommate sat in section 101 row Q seats 9&10. The first opening act was some guy duo who's name I think are Jungle Brothers, I don't think they ever really made it clear who they were. I was told that the second act was Nick's girlfriend, she's ok and she's pretty. Around 8:15 the screens showed mcy.com's webcast they would be doing on the boys after the tour and the future webcasts of the superhero selfs. Both shows were almost similar except for some moments:

(this is no specific order)

1. AJ didn't take his shirt off but only once the first night, but he more than made up for it the second night. He ripped his shirt off after 'Don't want you back' (I think)and I was ready to pass out, talk about making a girl wanting to storm the stage! Later on the second night at the end of the show, AJ took off his shirt again and would have kept it off if Brian wasn't playing around and covering him up with a towel. But that was after Kevin was playing and telling AJ to put some clothes on.

2. Near the beginning of the show, the boys sang 'Happy Birthday' to two women, I forget their names, but I remember what Kevin said they do for them. One makes sure they get fed ever night after the show and the other makes sure they have clean underwear. And after seeing them on the cover of January's Rolling Stone, imagining them in their underwear isn't very hard to do, actually it's a pleasure. They sang to them kind of a cappella, it was super sweet.

3. I think they played around more at the end of the second night than they did during the first night, but it was hard to tell, they played around alot during both shows.

4. They ended the first show in their 'Street' clothes, the second night they ended it wearing Mavericks jerseys. It was a nice touch and sweet, but I wish I could have seen them in Houston so I could see them wearing Rockets jerseys, that's my team.

5. The first night, Nick had fun asking us the same question he usually does, If we noticed anything different about him. We had fun answering back, YES. Then he asked if he should keep it or grow it back, I think we were more for keeping it(if he keeps it combed). The second night, he asked if we had checked out the comic book, if we liked it and how it fulfills their or his dreams. I LOVE IT AND CAN'T WAIT FOR THE WEBCASTS.

6. The first night, AJ was wearing the long coat during the pin stripped suits. The second night it was Kevin. THEY LOOKED HOT IN EVERYTHING, BUT ESPECIALLY IN THOSE OUTFITS.

7. The first night, Nick was on my side when they flew out individually and I hoped he wasn't going to be on the second night. Nothing against Nick, but I had seen him up close on the LAST LEG and I wanted to see someone else. Since I was in a different section I got to see Kevin up close and I took pictures. I REALLY HOPE THEY COME OUT. I hope he saw me, I saw his handsome green eyes. He threw some stuffed animals, I wish I had been in those seats. Kevin was having a blast because HE DID SOME SWIMMING TECHNIQUES, it was really cute.

8. Brian was playing with the basketball the first night, AJ was playing with it the second night.

9. AJ sprayed water into the front row on the first night, he threw stuffed animals the second night.

THE SECOND BEST PART OF THE SHOW AND THE CUTEST WAS HOWIE'S RAPPING PART. IT WAS BETTER THAN DURING THE LAST LEG. His hair looks longer and it is OH SO SEXY, HE LOOKS GOOD WITH LONG HAIR.

Someone or three people were holding up glow in the dark signs spelling out 'BSB', I wish I had thought of that.

The Backstreet Boys totally rocked and I tried my best to make myself hourse, but it didn't work.

THE BEST PART OF THE SHOW IS WHEN AJ HAS HIS SHIRT OFF.

KEVIN'S FIANCE IS BEAUTIFUL, I liked her 'make him beg' shirt that AJ pointed out.

Those 'body' or 'space' suits they wear in the begin looked great on all of them, especially Kevin, AJ and Howie!!

They kept the show going for a little while longer and I love them for that because I really didn't want to see it end. I'm going to start saving now so I sit at least near the front next time.

I give them 4 stars, well 5 stars for them!!

Michelle

Last night was the best night of my life! I actually was at the Backstreet Boys Into The Millennium concert! Any people out there that have been to one of the BSB's concerts, will agree with me!

While my best friend, my sister, my mom, and I were on our way to the concert, we couldn't believe who we talked to on the side of the road. It was EYC!!!! It was soooo cool!!!! Then, we finally got to the arena and got inside. Luckily, they didn't check our bags for cameras. But even though we were an hour early, TONS of people were there! It didn't surprise me either! Then we got BSB Millennium T-Shirts for $30.

Then we waited in our seats for about an hour, and the Jungle Brothers came on! They were AWESOME! Then another act came on, a girl group which I don't know who they were.

Then, after another 15 minutes of waiting...the lights went out and they started playing the Star Wars theme song. At that point everybody was screaming, including myself. Then the guys came out of a huge cloud of smoke on surfboards! When they came out, I started screaming and jumping out of my seat, and hit my sister and friend in the face with my hands. LOL

Then, they went all the way around the stage, stopping at each side of the arena for everyone to see. Then, the song everyone knew would come on, came on---"Larger Than Life"!

Then they sang other songs like "Get Down", "Quit Playing Games With My Heart", and "As Long As You Love Me". Then all the Boys came out and thanked the audience for their love and support for the Backstreet Boys. Of course we thanked them back!

Later, they sang "It's Gotta Be You", "All I Have To Give", and "That's The Way I Like It".

Then my favorite song came on, "I'll Never Break Your Heart", which the first half of the song was sung in spanish. After that, Kevin did a solo on the piano with the saxophonist, then played "Back To Your Heart".

Two hours later, everybody had thought the show was over, but then the Boys came back out in normal clothes singing "We've Got It Going On". After that they thanked us again and said goodbye.

But again, they came out singing "I Want It That Way", the best I've ever heard them sing it! They thanked us again, and this time they did leave unfortunatly.

But, overall it was the BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE! I would suggest going to one, because the 5 hour wait in line for my tickets were worth it!

Hello! It’s me again! Ok, please bare with me, it’s gonna be long, but sweet. Where do I start? First of all, this was my 2nd BSB concert in Dallas Texas, and let me just say that it was AWESOME & I have to admit....much better then the first concert. But you know why?!? Because I was REALLY, and I mean REALLY close to the stage. I think about 6th row.....they told me it was 11th row, but I was actually closer. Don’t get me wrong, the 1st show was EXCELLENT, but I think it was because I was in the upper balcony seats, I didn’t feel as intimate as I did tonight. They flew right above me!! Nick, I just love his surfing techniques, such a cutie. Anyways, if you read my concert review for Friday’s concert,, I mentioned that they came from the back, and they did again today too. We really couldn’t see Howie and AJ get off the bus because they were like in the garage, or whatever, but Howie did wave to us. Then this other bus comes, it had to be Kevin, Brian, and Nick. OMG, like I said before, what in the hell do they do in those buses? They take the longest time to get out! LOL! Kevin came out, and I took a GOOD picture of him waving to everybody, including us. It was cute cuz the garage was closed, and he had to wait until they opened it for him to get in, and when he entered, he turned around really funny and waved to us one more time. Then like 20 hours later (sarcasm, lol), Brian comes out from the same bus. Took a GOOD picture of him too waving to all of us. He loves to wave, I noticed that at the concerts. LOL! But I love it! We waited for such a long time for Nick to come out from one of the buses, but he never came out. Unless he came out when I left, but it was already 7:15 pm when I got in, so he was probably inside already.

Well before I went to the concert, we went to their hotels. Yes Dallas people, it was their hotel we were at! Me and my mom walked around, the hotel, and their buses were parked at the very corner of the parking lot, but the security was blocking the buses and securing it. When we drove around the buses, OMG, I thought that security guy was going to kill us! LOL! I mean, we were just driving, and his eyes were following us! My mom got kinda scared. Haha! I was like, “C’mon mom, I know girls who have done crazier things then us........let’s go in and walk around the hotel.” I wanted to go in the golf coarse because I know Brian loves to play golf. But no sign of B-Rok there. We walked all around, and then I saw their buses driving out. I started running & telling my mom, “They’re leaving, let’s go!!!” So we ran to the car. And I was going to take my car, but by the time my mom would of got home, and then for me to drive all the way to Downtown, I would’ve gotten there around 5:30, and I wanted to see them enter from the back like I did on Friday. Anyways, let’s just say we wasted our time at the hotels cuz we didn’t find them. We should’ve stayed really close to the buses so when they came to it, I could’ve ran to them or something. But that security guy is one scary dude! LOL!

Now let’s get to the concert. Now remember, I’m REALLY close.......I didn’t expect to be so close, so it was just plain awesome. I think I was even crazier then ever! The opening acts were the same, both of them did good (Jungle Brothers, Willa Ford). Ok, can I just say that Saturday’s crowd definitely kicked ass!! I’m sorry to say it, but Saturday’s crowd was much better then Friday’s crowd. Even Kevin noticed it! LOL! He was like, “Ya’ll defintly beat Friday’s crowd”........and it’s true, I agree. Don’t get me wrong, it was freaking loud Friday, but I think Saturday had to be the loudest and the craziest! Being so close to them was just.............you know what? I can’t even explain it! The impact they had on me that night was truly electrifying! And Nick, loved the hair! Spiked up, looooved it baby! And have ya’ll notice how freaky Nick gets while performing.......and the sexy moves he does.....I was just......speechless! I kept on saying, “DAMN!!”......and these girls behind me were just laughing. I’m sorry, but I just couldn’t help it! The guys seemed so happy, it just made me really happy. I sang every lyric, I danced to every choreography they did, I was basically feeling them tonight! Not that way, but you know what I mean!

Hehe. There was this part where Howie was singing (don’t remember what fast song it was), and Kevin comes behind him and scares him. LOL! Howie like almost fell down,.....and he went back to Kevin to like scare him back or something......they were just laughing. And Nick playing the drums during “Back to your heart” was awsome. The boy can play! Even the drummer (Bubba) was looking at him with this impressed face, and Nick was just smiling. And I even saw AJ and Howie playing the instruments too. AJ was playing with whatever instrument Mindi had, and Howie was playing with I think Bubba’s instrument, but I don’t exactly remember. OMG, Brian cracks me up. There was this part where I payed nothing but attention to Brian, and it’s so funny cuz he does the weirdest things! LOL! One minute he’s running, another he’s sliding across the floor, then he’s playing a violin, then he’s skipping, LOL.......he was just too funny tonight. I could see EVERYTHING!

Then there was this part where AJ was playing with the basketball, and would bounce it on the floor to the beat of the song. It was cool! Kevin just really looked happy and was very sweet to the fans. There’s some parts where I thought he was looking directly at me, but I didn’t know for sure if he was. You could bearly see his eyes (with those thick & sexy eyebrows, lol) and I couldn’t tell if he was looking at me. I think Brian waved to me, he waved just to about every person at the arena! LOL! I loved it though! And I loved Howie’s rapping, and the dancer’s battles were awesome. I really wanted to say hi to Kristen (the dancer w/ red hair) cuz I think she’s a really awesome dancer, but she never saw me. Oh yeah, and for “I want it that way”, BSB came out with Dallas Mavericks (B-Ball team) t-shirts. That was cool! I don’t remember if I mentioned this about Friday, but I saw Guy Walker (BSB’s band member) at the hotel, and I was really close to him, and I wanted to take a picture with him, but he was talking to some people and I didn’t want to interrupt him. But he saw me, and I think he knew me and my friend were looking for BSB, so he just looked at me and did like a little nod and smiled. So that was cool! Oh yeah, btw, Toni Braxton was at the same hotel the BSB were in Dallas. Because I asked this guy at the hotel (one of those guys who brings room service to your room), if he knew where the BSB were at. But he didn’t know english, only spanish. So I talked to him in spanish. And he told me he didn’t know if they were there because they get so many famous people there......and he told me, “I just finished taking some food to Toni Braxton”. I was like, “She’s here???”. And he told me yeah. But then he had to leave. But no sign of them at the hotel. But I thought that was cool that Toni was at the same hotel as the BSB.

I wanted to tell the parents something. I know that sometimes you can’t get BSB concert tickets for your kids because they sell out really fast, or either it’s too expensive. If my parents wouldn’t have bought me this ticket that was so close, I don’t think I would’ve been as happy as I was tonight. I know money is the issue to this, but once you see those smiles on your kids faces, it’s just something you can always treasure in your heart. I’m not trying to get all sentimental here......lol, but it’s true. My parents paid $150 for my 6th row tickets, and it was worth it! Trust me!! There’s times when you have to just spend the money, because you’re kids are never going to have that chance to see the BSB (unless they come again to your town). I don’t think I was ever as happy as I was tonight, it was a concert that I will always treasure with me. I even thanked my parents after the concert, if it wasn’t for them for buying me that ticket, I don’t think I would ever have another great concert experience like I did tonight! Just to let you know, to the parents, do it for your kids. They’ll love you forever for it! It’s just a great feeling to know you’re at the same place as the BSB and can hear their brilliant music live. And again, it’s worth it! Money always comes and goes, but the memories never do. :)

Again, I’m sorry I wrote another long concert review, LOL, but I just get carried away. I still have more to say, but I told ya’ll the main parts! Oh yeah, & for tonight, I took 48 pictures. My mom was about to kill me, LOL, but I don’t care! It’ll be something to always remember. And one more thing, if you think the BSB are going to break up or something, you better think again! The way they performed together tonight and the bond they had between each other was just unexplainable. After the concert, we were going to follow their buses, but I told my mom to forget it.......I had no more film anyways. LOL! So what was the use? And plus, those bodyguards are scary! LOL! And I thought I would let my ‘boys rest their little butts because they truly did work hard!! Even my mom was like, “Are they going to perform tomorrow again somewhere else?” I told her yeah, they were going to Austin. She goes, “Tomorrow?!? How do they do it?” LOL! I told her they are hard working guys believe it or not. She goes, “How can they dance and sing everyday?” Parents just don’t understand. lol! BSB are used to it already, and they do & take their jobs professionally. Oh yeah, btw, for the Dallas people, “Sons of Harmony” was there too. (The 106.1 Kiss FM “boy band”). And my mom told me that Kevin (From “Sons of Harmony”, not the BSB) was hanging out with AJ, and he said that they were the coolest guys ever and that AJ was so down to earth and too cool. I thought that was ironic, BSB hanging out with “SOH”? But that was cool to hear them say that BSB were really nice. Ummm, I think that’s about enough that I can remember. You can always email me if you want to ask me anything. Sorry again for this super long concert review. KTBPA! ;)

Hey! The concert that I went to on March 3 was soooooooo fun!!!The Jungle Brothers opened for BSB. They were okay. One of them kept doin this really weird dance. Willa also opened for them. That's Nick's GF. She sang really good. She had 4 dancers with her i think. I was 3 feet away from the stage so BSB waved at me alot!!:-) Anyways.. They all looked really hot!! A.J. had orangish-blondish hair and it looked really good! Nick's hair was straight down in the front, it was sooo CUTE!!! Brian, Kevin, and Howie's hair was just like usual but Kevin's hair was spiked up really high! haha! They performed and sounded really great!! Their dancing was awesome! I went to a concert in the previous leg of the Into The Millennium tour, and the only thing that was different was their clothes and when they sang "I'll Never Break Your Heart", they sang the whole first verse in Spanish. This little girl that was probably about 4 or 5 was sort of next to me and Kevin came down and touched her hand or something but I coudln't tell that well cuz everyone started crowding around in front of me but it was really sweet! Nick played the drums during "Back to your Heart" while Kevin was up in the air playing the piano.

Close to the end of the show A.J took a drink out of his water bottle and then turned around and kept looking around and people were yelling at him to throw the water on us and he finally did and got us all wet and then he threw the bottle to us. I wish i would've caught that bottle!!!!!! And of course A.J ripped his wife beater off! He looked really good! I loved it when they flew over the audience. Brian was on my side, but he didn't really do anything like flips. I guess he was scared. So I watched AJ. He was having so much fun,and Kevin was throwing stuffed animals to his side. There was also this little girl that had the cutest sign! It said: Divorce Her and marry me Brian!! I thought that was cute! Howie D did his little rap when he introduced his dancers and he had his little hood on. He looked cute. During "Get Down" A.J. was at the top of the stage doing his rap and Kevin went up there with him and when A.J. said: smack it up flip it, movie it all around", Kevin started hitting AJ's butt! It was really funny! Those are just some highlights of the show but the concert was great and they had so much energy!!

Well folks, I just came back from the Dallas Texas concert (March 3rd). One word, RAMBUCTIOUS!! Ok, is that even a word, LOL, I don’t know, I heard Kevin say it on the “All Access” video, and I think that means crazy. Anyways, the concert was magnifcient! More then what I expected! Ok, well you know it was good, but let me get to the good parts. Ok, we got to the arena like at 4:00 pm. Really early, I know. But anyways, we thought we were going to go to their hotels to find them, but instead, we just went straight to the arena and waited. We waited at the back entrance where the ‘boys were going to be arriving. BTW, some security gaurds/police officers can trick you up pretty easily, but not me, I’m not stupid. The officer told us that the BSB had a meet and greet at the front. Like yeah right, that would be total kaos. We waited out there, and then we see this black bus. We knew it had to be either BSB, or the band members. Then I knew it was the band members, because I saw Dennis Gallo (Keyboards & Acoustic guitar) smiling through the window. They come out of the bus, and I was waiting for Tommy Smith. When he got out, I screamed his name really loud, and he looks my way, and I’m all waving to him, and he screams to me “I love you”! I was like, OMG, Tommy just said I love you to me! lol! And I didn’t even say that to him. And everybody was like looking at me because I’m the only that screamed his name. That was awsome. :)

Ok it was around 5:00 p.m, I THINK, didn’t have a watch, but we waited about an hour before AJ arrived. OMG, I didn’t even know there was somebody in the van. Nobody knew. Then suddenly, I see this girl getting out (Amanda), so I thought, “Oh it’s probably just a dancer or something” (didn’t know it was Amanda at first). Then, I was talking to this girl next to me, then suddenly, I hear everybody screaming, and I turn around, and it’s AJ getting out of the van! I was like, OMG! I acted like such a child. LOL! He turned and waved to us, but by the time my camera clicked, he was behind the truck and instead took a picture of Amanda. LOL! About 30 minutes later, some white car comes driving up. Again, nobody knows who this is, and stupid me, I turn around and talk to my friend, and then I hear the screaming again! It was my baby Nick!!!! I was like, ahhhhhh, Snap, snap, snap!! LOL! Pictures everywhere. Everybody was like running to the back. You see, there’s like this high hill with a fence, so we were like in the middle of the hill. And he was walking a long way too to get to the door or whatever. He was all waving, and then when he was coming closer to our way, I screamed out “Nick!!!”, and trust me, I have a loud and strong voice, and he heard me!! He looked up, and I was all waving, he just smiled. But my freaking camera didn’t snap when he looked up, cuz he only looked up for like 3 seconds. I took 3 pics of him walking, and one of them was the top of his head! lol! I was so proud to be someone who Nick heard scream his name. Haha! And you know, that’s my baby (just j/k, don’t take it personal), so I was like freaking out. But anyways, 2 more black buses come later. We waited for like 30 minutes just for somebody to get out of that bus. We knew it had to be Brian, Kevin, and Howie.

About 30 minutes waiting to see if anybody would come out of that bus, Brian suddenly comes out! Kaos everywhere again! LOL! He stood there and just waved, he was so sweet. I took a perfect picture of him waving and with his face too! I was like right above him on that hill. OMG, we waited another 30 minutes, (what the hell do they do in those buses, LOL). The next thing we know it, Kevin comes out!! Again, kaos everywhere! LOL! He had that hat on (cok needle) or whatever that hat is called. And when he looked up waving to everybody, my damn camera didn’t flash right away until he looked back down. I’m telling you this camera is wierd. But anyways, we knew somebody didn’t arrived yet, which was Howie, but we think he was in the bus that had the front of the bus sticking in that garage to the back entranace. Because we also waited a long time for Howie, and it was like 6:45 p.m, so we thought we minus well go in. So we didn’t see Howie getting out at the back entrance cuz I think he was already inside. So that was exciting seeing them going to the back entrace. Remember, they’re not always in buses. :)

Back to the show, the opening acts were good. The Jungle Brothers were awsome. They entertained us alot! Then, Willa comes out. Best known as Mandy, Mandah, Ford, or whatever, I don’t even know her real name now...lol...too many names! Anyways, even though I’m dead jealous of her, hehe, (don’t take it personal, I just kidd around) she did a good job performing. Then the ‘boys come out. I’m sure you know everything that goes on. But I just thought I’d ask ya’ll, did they sing the first verse in spanish of “I’ll never break your heart” at ya’lls concerts? Cuz they did that here in Dallas. It was soo cool! Then they did the 2nd verse in english, and until the song finished. My favorite part probably has to be........can I say everything? LOL! Ok, the special affects that really was amazing to me was when the green lazers shooted above and across the stage. That was awsome! And when all that fire shooted out. Wow, that was very awsome! I am so surprised I didn’t cry, but I almost, almost did when they started singing the “Perfect Fan”. But I didn’t. I was actually just enjoying myself and singing every lyric. We ware at the upper balcony seats, but since my arena isn’t that big (holds 20,000), we were closer then what we expected it to be. I actually thought the arena was a little bit too small! I mean, when the guys flew on their boogie boards, they didn’t have that much to fly across! LOL! That’s how small it was. It was awsome! And to whoever thought only little girls go to their concerts, ya’ll are totally wrong. I think I saw more grown ups then little kids. Some of them were parents, but most of them were just 25 year olds hanging out with their friends, GUYS and girls.

The audience was very loud (my ears were hurting like hell! lol), but I think we could’ve been louder. I know Dallas people can get crazier than that. So if you’re going tommarow to the BSB concert in Dallas, you better scream your loudest and get as crazy as you can. And one of the things that really bothered me was that people were already leaving thinking that the BSB already finished. THEY DON’T LEAVE UNTIL “I WANT IT THAT WAY” FINISHES!! LOL! So wait! It’s rude to walk out on them thinking that they’re done. I was even screaming to the ppl leaving, “It’s not over yet damnit!”. Sorry, I just think that’s rude. LOL! Other then that, the concert went perfect. It was the best concert, well the only concert I’ve been to! Tommarow will be my 2nd BSB concert, and I’ll be even closer. 11th row baby! OMG, this is a extra long concert review. I’m very, very sorry, hopefully you’ve made it this far, congradulations if u did. ALWAYS KTBPA!!!!

luv, *Veronica*

This was my second BSB concert. I saw them in '98 in Dallas, but this one was the best cause I had great seats that I won from the Mix 96.1 radio station. The opening acts were ok I guess. The guys came out around 8:45. Nick said that it was really hot in San Antonio and that earlier they played basketball with some of the Spurs and he thinks they'll make it to the finals again this season. AJ and Brian were goofing around the whole night. At one point AJ was doing ballet and another time he ripped his shirt in two. Someone threw a basketball on stage and Brian started bouncing it around. When they did "That's the Way I Like It" Nick was being very sexy while getting his groove on. I think he picked up some of those dance moves from AJ. Every time Nick would take off a piece of clothing he'd rip it open and throw it.

He also metioned his hair cut. I think it looks better when you see it in person than in pictures or TV. And Dennis from the band also cut his hair(it lookes tons better). Nick played the drums for "Back To Your Heart" They sang "I'll Never Break Your Heart" in spanish. Howie was showing off his spanish skills when he was doing his rapping part. He said some funny things. Nick even said 1,2,3,4 in spanish which was so cute. My favorite part was when they sang "I Want It That Way", they all came out with cowboy hats. AJ and Kevin were pretending like they were on horses. Then all these beach balls were dropped from above. I had noticed earlier that we were sitting under them. There were two kinds, one was black and white and the other was silver and had Backstreet Boys Into the Millennium Tour written on it. Some sections got those long white weener balloons dropped on them. Nick got a hold of one and started waving it all around to the crowd and they did the same to him. They were all talking with that southern cowboy accent. It was so cool, BSB rule!

Well, it all started when I arrived at the Alamodome.  Everyone was screaming because we saw somebody who was looking out of the window from inside the building.  We didn't care, we wanted to scream.  And then they were letting us in and it finally hit me, after one long year of waiting, I'm gonna see the Backstreet Boys.

Well, before the concert all these girls were running behind the curtain and they were screaming soo much!!  Knowing me, I had to see what was up so my and my cousins took off and ran to go see what was going on:  they were playing bbal with the SAN ANTONIO SPURS!!  Just Avery Johnson and David Robinson--later they wished them luck for winning the championship again this year.  Well, I was running in heals over every one and there was these girls that passed out and we were taking pictures left and right but they kicked us out cause in a way we were backstage but still in the stands.

Anyways, DO YOU WANNA KNOW WHO STARTED THROWING ALL THAT CONFETTI FROM THE THIRD LEVEL?  It was my pal Lisa, I had no idea it was her until she told me on Thursday.  Her and her party just saw the bag of confetti and they got their enitre section to start throwing it.  The cops came and told them to stop or they'll kick them out, but Lisa stayed for the concert thank GOD!!

Well, when we got our seats, I started screaming cause I was sooooo damn close!!  I was close enought to see their muscles and each single strand of their hair--all in section 103.  I almost passed out but I left to go buy things to keep me happy.  Well, the opening acts were pretty cool, Willa Ford was very good (I conveniently "forgot" that she ever dated Nick sooo. . .)  Anyways, they were teasing us by sticking hands out from where the BSB were supposed to come out and we just started to go crazy!!

Then the concert starts!!!

Well, Larger than Life was pretty cool and I like all the songs but to make my review short, here a few kickbutt highlights:

They sang INBYH in SPANISH and I thought that was pretty cool (I love that song!!)  During NOECC (when they were rotating around the stage in pinstripes)  I was waving frantically with my green glowstick (yes, that was me) cause I was DESPARATE to get acknowlegded from any of the Boys and guess what!!--Brian finally saw me after his fifth rotation to my side and gave me and my cousins a double-handed wave!!!  The reason I knew that he waved to us cause we were the only one's in our section waving like crazy and I was pretty close enough to tell what he was looking at.  He was laughing like he was trying to put us out of our misery. . .  but we waved still!!  (now that we had one boy, why not two?!)  Anyways, during the Perfect Fan, the girl that was with Howie waved at us and that was still cool to me cause she was standing RIGHT BY HOWIE!!!  At the end, they let down the beach balls, balloons and what was left of the confetti but I had to leave so I didn't see the end of IWITW but I was still happy.    I lov e the way that they try to make each and every fan feel special and they did!!

Uhh, I'm not always this way, I know that this review may sound like I'm gloating but I am just WAAAAY too excited and I still haven't calm down. . . yet. . .well feel free to write me and you can visit my web page at: http://www.geocities.com/jags_adri.

It was the event I had been waiting for since December 18th, and on March 1st it was all becoming a reality. It would be my VERY 1st concert, and now, I'm so glad it was! We got to San Antonio at around 5:30 and got lost on our way to the hotel. What a way to get things started, huh? Anyway, as we drove by the Alamodome, my cousin, Anna, and I almost had a heart attack as we saw the HUGE line of people waiting to get in. We finally got to the hotel and to the dome at around 6:30. We bought some stuff and found our way to our seats. I thought they were gonna be further, but it turned out they were very good! Anna was sitting on the opposite side of us. I was with my unlce, my little cousin, and my mom. At 7:30 some guys called the Jumping or Jungle Brothers came out. They were very energetic and did a pretty good job. At about 7:45 Wlla Ford (HAHAHAHAHA! What a joke!) came out. Considering she was lip synching and said for Mexico alot even though she was in TEXAS, she did great!(drip of sarcasm there) She got off the stage much to the relief of me, and we waited for BSB to come out. It seemed like FOREVER! I was getting tired of reading MCY.com, when the lights went out! The dancers came out with torches. BSB was coming! I have no idea what came over me, but as soon as I saw them, I went CRAZY!

I was screaming and screaming and pointing to them (as if we couldn't tell BSB was there!). I used to laugh when I saw girls on TV go crazy like that, but now I understand what they're going through. I guess it's the whole realization that they're not on TV or in magazines anymore; they're actually there! It's extremely overwhelming. They got to the stage and marched around. Kevin did his raising of the eyebrow thing which was soo cute! The he yelled, "SAN ANTONIO, ARE YOU READY TO PARTY???" AWW YEAH! "Larger than Life" was the 1st song they did, and I was shaking my booty the rest of the night! hehe... They sounded GREAT on all the songs they performed, and the dancing, well you can imagine how AWESOME the dancing was. I only noticed one mess-up though, and that was during "As Long As You Love Me". Nick had trouble turning the chair. :) It was so cool to see Nick get into "No One Else Comes Close". He slammed the microphone stand and sang his heart out. The piano that Kevin played for his untitled song and "Back To Your Heart" was sooo beautiful. For "Back To Your Heart", Nick was playing drums. (Who said they couldn't play instruments?) Being that San Antonio is special (hehe), they sang half of "I'll Never Break Your Heart" in Spanish, and Nick said, "Uno, dos, tres" so cute! He also tried speaking like a cowboy. Hehe!

They also came with sombreros for "I Want It That Way" which I thought was pretty cute. Nick fell at the beginning of the concert and was limping around for a few seconds. Oh, before "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely", AJ said they dedicated that song to Denniz Pop. It was really sad, especially, since it seemed to me that Brain got emotional cuz at the end, he was wiping away tears (I was watching him with the binoculars, so that's how I could tell). When it ended, I felt like those girls at the end of the "I Want It That Way" video. I didn't want for them to go! The next day, I was depressed cuz I wanted for the concert to go on and on. Now, I'm just in shock that I was in the same building as them. I CAME, I SAW, I CONQUERED! :) And my mom took away my CD's and won't stop listening to them in her car! AHHH! Nick, Brian, Kevin, Howie (or should I say MC Freaky D), and AJ, if you read this (which I seriously doubt), thank you so much for an excellent show! Seeing you only made me respect you more. Thank you!

I had to write in to share my experience at the Backstreet Boys Concert in San Antonio, Texas.  As an older fan of the Backstreet Boys, I was a little skeptical about attending the concert due to the whole age factor thing.  I guess you can say I am still an "in the closet Backstreet Fan".  Well, my brother was kind enough to get me tickets to the concert so I have to say I was more than happy to go.  Of course, I had to take my brother with me and convince him that the Backstreet Boys were more than just a stereotypical "boy band".

As we arrived in San Antonio, you could feel the intensity the BSB was causing in the city.  Much to my amazement, the Riverwalk Mall and all of downtown was filled with fans of all ages wearing any type of BSB apparel you could think of.  Seeing this outpouring of support for the Backstreet Boys said a lot about the Texas fans.  I think this was also a way for the fans to thank the Boys for heading this way for this leg of the tour. As the concert time came closer, you could hear the crowd getting pumped up.  There were two opening acts for the BSB; the Jungle Boys and the Willa Ford.  As much as some of the fans are going to hate reading this, but I have to say that Willa did an excellent job on her performance.  She gave an well performed set of songs that had an edge unlike some of the other female artists currently on the charts.  She almost portrayed somewhat of a "bad-girl" image that left most of the crowd wondering exactly who she was.  I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of Willa in the near f uture.

At about 8:45 or so, the Backstreet Boys appeared practically out of nowhere; on there futuristic skate boards that hovered oh-so-close to the crowd.  The sets of songs were action packed (of course), but what mesmerized me the most was the elaborate costume changes.  The boys must have changed at least six time throughout the show.  The highlight of these costume changes was when they appeared from the stage with their pin-striped suits and sang  many of the love ballads that we hold close to our hearts.  I have to say that these songs were only enhanced by these "zoot suits" that the BSB wore.  I have to applaud their costume designer for the fabulous choices in outfits.  Each specific costume change matched the tempo of the music.  Their costumes either appeared futuristic to match their "Larger than Life" sound, were playful for songs such as "Quit Playing Games With My Heart", and were mostly very "GQ" for their romantic ballads.  As much as I enjoyed hearing their beautiful voices, I found myself paying attention to a variety of things, like the costumes, during the concert.

All of these action packed antics continued for probably more than two hours.  Throughout the concert, what also caught my attention was how sincere the BSB were and how they continually thanked their fans.  I believe they spent a good portion of the show expressing their appreciation to the fans.  It was very nice to also see the Boys happy about playing a little basketball with the Spurs.  You can tell that was a big highlight to their visit to San Antonio.  I was also impressed by their inclusion of "Spanish Eyes" and "Nunca Te Hare Llorar". As a fluent Spanish speaker, I was so impressed by their ability to belt out these tunes without fault.  I was also shocked to even hear these songs because I heard that these songs were not included in other shows during the tour.  I would really like to thank the Boys for adding these songs to the line-up and accommodating to the vast amount of Spanish speakers in the audience.

In all, this concert receives a perfect ten!  I have never attended such a great concert.  After this show, I am definitely no longer shy about telling people I am an older Backstreet Fan and proud of it!!  I have the three rolls of film I took at the concert to prove my devotion to the boys.  I have to admit I am still on cloud nine after the concert.  On another note, my brother has not stopped talking about the concert since we got back to Corpus Christi.  I think I was successful in making him a fan. What do you think?

Well fans, on a final note... this concert is definitely worth the buck!!  You will definitely get your moneys worth!

From what I know, this is their first visit to San Antonio, but judging by their reaction to the crowd, I know there will be future visits by the BSB.

I was lucky enough to win some backstage passes for the SanAntonio concert through a local radio station. While I was backstage before the concert i met all the backstreet boys except Howie. I also met Kristen and LeighAnne. They were both nice and both sporting some very very nice engagment rings. Brian sat down the whole time he was back there due to the fact that he said his knee was really hurting him. While backstage they were singing some songs i had never heard before and so I am not sure if they are just simply warm up songs or rather songs off of their upcoming album. Howie came in at the last minute and then they got ready to go on. They allowed me to stay and watch the show from backstage due to the fact that trying to fight the crowd to get back to my seat was near impossible. The show was great even from the back side. While they were getting hooked up in their harness things i heard Brian say "God, I'm never going to get used to this" and then nick said" yeah man i know the crowds impress me every time" and the Brian said "no Nick, I mean this flying all the way up there stuff" They did all of my favorite old songs and then all of the new ones and they sounded better than ever. The crowd was pumped up during the whole thing and not one single second was dull. After the show they all let me take pictures with them and they signed some autographs and then they invited me to come to the after party with them. It wasn't all that great but I was in the same room as the backstreet boys i couldnt complain. Howie wasn't at the party though. I'm not sure where he went. All of the boys love to drink ill tell you that much. But anyways to sum it up for yall it was the greatest thing i have ever been to and i will never forget it. It was defiently worth me having to eat Jim's(the dj's) dirty sock with hot sauce and chocolate covered ants on it.

Hi! My name is Sara and I went to the Backstreet Boys concert last night ( March 1 ) in San Antonio with my big sister, my twin sister, and my big brother. This was my first BSB concert and I have to say.....OH MY GOSH!!!!!! I was in such shock just to see my boys in real life. I was so used to seeing them on TV and in pictures that it just blew me away!

The beginning of the show started out with a bang with Larger Than Life and it was completely awesome! They looked so great while they were flying over the crowd. The next song was Get Down....and believe me....we ALL got down! The stadium was filled with energy and the guys were amazing. Kevin looked as beautiful as ever, Brian looked gorgeous, Howie was extremely handsome, AJ was....well what can I say....HOT, and Nick looked so so so cute with that great haircut he got!!!!! I really didn't think they could go wrong in the looking great category.

The best part of the whole concert had to be the over all quality of the songs. I know they sound awesome on their CD's, but I had no idea how great they sounded live! Their voices never ceased to amaze me! They danced, they sang, and gave it 110% to make each one of their fans happy. I definitely fell in love with them all over again! Even my brother, who int the biggest BSB fan, was impressed with their show and their voices. This concert had to have been the best time of my life. I am completely grateful for getting the chance to see them.I have never seen a shower like it...and I dot think I ever will. So, If I had to describe the concert in one word, it would have to be....AMAZING! And remember everyone, KTBSPA!

Thanks for your time,

Sara and Selina

The Backstreet Boys concert was amazing. My friends and I went to the San Antonio show in a black stretch limo. We were driving down the highway and everyone thought it was the guys. It was so cool. We got there after the doors opened. The crowd was so hyped it was awesome. The first opening act was the jungle brothers. They were these two guys rapping. They weren't really good, they were just funny. After them was Willa. (Also known as Mandy Willaford/ Nick's girlfriend.) I have to say that I'm the biggest Nick fan, and I was a bit upset to see her there, but she was awesome. Her voice isn't amazing, but it's not bad. Her dancing on the other hand was really great. She did pump the crowd up.

After waiting for about an hour, the lights turned down, and out came the dancers. Everything went on as usual. They sang "Larger Than Life" and the crowd went hysteric. The dancers were pumped, and so were the guys. After LTL, they sang another song and then they started to talk. I'm sure all of you have heard about Nick's speech about his new haircut. Well he said it. After Nick talked, Aj talked next. Basically he just said how beautiful the girls were and those types of compliments. After him was Howie and he said a few things in Spanish. (Of course I understood.) Then Howie said Hi to his family who lives here. After Howie was Brian. He talked about how they played basketball with Our San Antonio Spurs. He seemed pretty excited about it. After Brian was Kevin, and all he said was thank-you and a few other things. The guys did the usual flying. The stagehands threw stuffed animals to the guys, and they threw them out in the crowd. After that the guys did the rest of the concert. When they were going to sing "I'll Never Break Your Heart", they sung it in SPANISH. It was so amazing. After that they sung Spanish Eyes. Another crowd pleaser. As you know, for "It's Gotta Be You" the dancers had the dance off. They were really great. After that they sung "I Want It That Way". For some reason that was one of the best songs of the night.

All in all, it was an awesome concert. The crowd loved them and hopefully they'll come back to our city.

The guys looked totally HOT.

Nick looked fine as ever. His hair was a definite turn on, and he looked buffer. He sounded so cute, and he brought the house down when he sang.

Brian was so cute. He started playing with the basketball, and he kept pretending like he couldn't dribble it.

Howie was hilarious when he was doing his rapping. It was so cute.

Aj was so sexy. He was having a good time and making everyone want to be up on that stage even more.

Kevin looked serious at times, but he did joke around with the crowd.

Many people said that if you haven't seen the ''Into The Millennium Tour'' it will be the best concert ever, and if you have it will be even better. Man were they right. This time it was better than when I saw it last year. Everyone says that you can't find one bad thing about a Backstreet Boys concert. I did. IT ENDS. Why can't they go on forever?

I was at the concert in Houston at the Compaq Center on Feb, 29. I know you have read the other reviews so I won't go into details. My tickets said Obstruct View,so I was soooo disappointed. I almost didn't want to go cuz I was so sad. But I was So surprised!!! The seats were good. There was just a pole there but you could see around. We were fourth row from the floor! And for all you fans who were there on the 29th, we were sitting lke [4 FEET] from that black box that they came flying to the stage from. I mean, they were RIGHT THERE! 4 FEET. I almost fainted. The one I could see really well was Brian.I was shaking so bad that my whole body felt like jelly. The screams were so loud that I felt like I was under water. I liked how when they were wearing suits, KEVIN'S coat was really long, like to his ankles. Oh, he looked so hot. He's my fav by the way.The show was beyond words. This is something I will never forget. They were all that and more, mind blowing. My mom f reaked when Lionel Richie came out. She was just complaing that she didn't get to see him at the Astrodome. But she did at my concert! I wish they would move to Houston like they said. Well, maybe someday....

hi! I went to the second Houston concert as well as the first. It was great! It was a little different for me,personally, because my seats were sooo much better! I was first level, eight rows up! (opposed to second level, four rows from the top!!!!)I could actually see them when they first came out. They rose up out of this black box on the left of the arena. They got unhooked and did the marching thing around the stage again. Then they did "Larger Than Life", "Get Down" and "The One" . The ol' routine, I guess. They came out and talked again...Nick was still so sweet! I loved his hair! It looked sooo good! A.J was talking bout moving to Houston (ya I  wish!). I started freaking out for "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" because Nick was sooo close  to me! He is my personal fave.I was jumping and waving my sign! I would have got awesome pictures, but I had tried to reload my camera, but i had the wrong film!!!!Ugh!!!

But concert goers beware, there can be some ruuuuude people there! One lady sat behind me and my two friends, and she was complaing that she couldnt see because we were standing up. Well of course she couldnt see, she was sitting down for the whole time! This is BSB concert! Well, she started to get mad at us and made us sit down when Lionel Richie came out ,which was soooo awesome! and we had to sit down for Spanish Eyes, which I regret, because Brian was facing us, and I'm positive we could have got his attention! Well after that, I had had enough! I love the BSB more than anything in the world, and I had liked them for a realllly long time.So I stood up, and then my two friends did. So the lady started screaming at us, saying stuff like "Aw ya'll think ya'll are being bad dont you!" (Ya, we're bad, watch out I might kill you with my "I love u, Nick!" sign!)So she kept saying stuff, and I turned around and told her dont ever talk to me again and that it was my night and not hers. I wasnt about to let her ruin my night. ( I also put my sign up so she couldnt see, just to annoy her! But dont let people l ike that ruin your concert! Anyways, everything was awesome! The choreography was absolutely awesome! The voices sounded great! (I almost died when I heard Nick sing on "Don't Wanna Lose You Now"!) Nick played the drums on "Back To Your Heart"! It was awesome,at first I didnt notice, but i started wondering why i only saw A.J, Brian, and Howie (Kevin was playing the piano) but then I saw  blonde spikey hair behind the drum set!! The concert was totally great,I will never forget it. The only thing that made me sad is that it's over!

Hi! my name is Jenny, and I went to the February 28th concert at Compaq Center in Houston,Texas. The concert was so amazing! I was sitting in horrible seats, second level, two rows from the seat! But I didnt care, at least I was in the house, right? The show started a little after 8:30, and I was freaking out, I couldnt really see them because they were on the other side. Then they got unhooked and they would march in line to see each side, and then they went into "Larger Than Life" and "Get Down" and one of my absolute faves, "The One" Then they came out and talked,Nick being the first.(He's my fave!) He was so sweet,he talked about getting one of his dogs here and naming it Houston (yay!)Then A.J. talked, then Howie, Brian, and then Kevin. Then I think they did "Don't Wanna Lose You Now". I can't remember everything in the exact order...but it was so awesome. They sounded great. The chair dance for " As Long As You Love Me" was so great too! They had the five moms and five daughters onstage for the "Perfect Fan". It was so sweet! My mom, who was with me, saw each Kevin serenading the mom and daughter and said to me, " I would die if that was me!" It was kinda funny. I thought I was the one supposed to be saying that! My favorite part was when they started to fly!Howie was throwing roses! Nick was on a side where I could see him,and I started freaking out because I realized he was flying over the section that I was sitting in for the second concert!! "Don't Want You Back" was really great. Nick was climbing all over his ladder, and Kevin would hang upside down and pull himself up without his arms! (he must have awesome muscles!)At the end, when they were introducing the dancers, Nick was so cute! He would dance around with a towel on his head. Then, someone threw a sheet onstage, and he caught it and wrapped it around himself and danced in that. The Way They Did "It's Gotta Be You" was great! I loved the choreography! The whole show was great,I absolutely loved it! It was one of the best nights of my life!

Well I had a blast!!! OMG. You guys dont know how badly I wanted to go back for the second day when Lionel Richie was there!!!! I haven't talked to anyone who went yet so I really don't know what happened but I am sad because I did miss that.

My friend Erin and I (we are both 20 and go to UST here in houston)got at the Compaq center at about 10 am and hung around until the actual concert started. We met a couple of fun fans- Phylis and Mayra YOU ROCK!!! We searched the Renaissance hotel and theywere not there. oh well.

Anyways we met a couple of people around noon so we hung out with them and my other friend from school and her group. in total it was about 15 of us. we sang songs, had fights, (i wasnt in any of them) , just had an awesome time. I met one girl from NY who had a heart transplant and wanted to meet them and had them autograph her calendar- you are an inspiration. i am glad you meet them.

I was even quoted in the Houston Chronicle! Yeah me! Not the best thing I said about them, but hey, my name is in the paper and it wasnt for a crime!! We didn't get to go to the conference even though me and my friend werer the first ones to be there period. They had room only for the make a wish kids and off. fan club kids. ARGH!!! damn it, why didnt erin get me that 4 mybday?!?!?LOL

The concert itself was a blast even though we sat in our seats (all the way at the top) bored for an hour beacuse the opening acts and songs they played after them sucked. We were about 5 rows from the ceiling and i almost thoought i would have a panic attack because i could see the WHOLE floor. i am such a chicken with heights! but as soon as everyone filled the place up and they came on, i never was scared. =-)

Pretty much most of you have seen them so i'll just pick my fave moments and comment:

OMG- we had the best seats because we could see the whole stage and when they would fly, lord i swear i was in heaven. they only flew as high as the top of the lower level but its okay. When they first 'cpome out' they come out of a certain area and we were lucky enough to be there and were screaming and yelling when we saw them- the would poke there hands out and someone even ssaw AJ with his hat on! i couldnt even see the screens these "things" were blocking our views we were so high! LOL my camera busted (the film didnt rewind) and i was so stupid that i didnt pull it out to instead take more pix = so i dont have any!!! =*(

the interaction between the guys is the best. is it me or does nick even in play fights get serious??? he looks so cute with his new do. does he really have a dog named houston, or is it a plush, or a lie?? he was such a freak i swear he is taking awy AJ's thunder.

After hearing some of the songsall i can say is this: MAKE A LIVE ALBUM!!!!! they were amazing even with all the screaming.

During I think, The perfect fan- AJ did a bit of dancing- ballet- it was hilarious. Some of the chorography is the same from the disney channel so of course i wa suo half the time just doin it in reverse.During INBYH, nick tells the guys stuff so when its time to sing the chorus, i jump up and sing it with them in spanish. I swear people around us were looking at me crazy. Thanks to Caitlin (Ms. web Queen)i knew everything that was going on and was sooooo prepared- THANK YOU!!! keep up this iste.

Kevin and Mindi doing part of his solo before BTYH was so sweet! i cried for the first minute of the song. Brian was full of energy he jumped off the stage straight onto the floor and jumped right back in. WHY??? I don't know but it sure was funny. AJ is just such a flirt. Kevin looked amazing flying during QPG, but Brian was trying so hard i was in tears laughing for him, poor baby, but that just makes him more lovable. After nick, Kev, brian, and AJ introdced the dancers, I was reay for D. nick said his intro about howie ( i wont ruin it more but you'll know what i mean) I jumped up and screamed Sweet D. and was dancing throughout his rap performance- my bab y never ceases to amze me. LOL.

In conclusion, the stage, lighting, choreogrpahy, evrything made this an evening to remember. I loved all the costumes changes, breaks, etc. I would reccomend everyone go see it even if you are not a hard core fan of BSB but do like/ love the songs. What else can I say without spoiling this more for those whom like me this will be their first BSB concert? Have fun, be calm, take a bunch of pix, and a recorder if you can. Be nice to everyone because thats how we meet Mindi after the concert. YOU ARE THE BEST!!! YOU GO GIRL!!! We stayed until like 1:30 am until after all the buses left. YEAH!!! and finally anyone who was there and took pix, or sounds please leave me an email to check after easter or a vm: 1-877-3203-9757 ( its toll free) all of the US BSB fans need to go to ureach.com to get one so we can all be a bigger groups of close fans. I'll just stop being crazy now!!! Laters!

I'll try to write a short review, but I can't promise that. First off, my friend's mom works at the St. Regis hotel where the BSB were at. On Monday morning she saw Brian and Leighanne kissing in front of their hotel room (#1150), she said hi to them and they said hi back. (Aw how sweet!) I thought that was cool. She called me to tell me the info, right before I was off to the concert! When I got to the Compaq Center I saw the famous tour buses. At least 7-8 were black, and 3-5 were beige looking with drawings on them. I was crazy enough to write down the license plate #s. I saw the following stuff in the buses: a Kyle doll, a football, white towels, lit candles, and tv's and vcr's. Me and my BSB crazed cousin wanted to look inside the other buses, but we couldn't cuz we accidently went into a VIP section. Security made us leave...When we finally went into the venue, we bought stuff, here's a list of the prices of tour merchandise: $30 t-shirts (XL, L, M), $25 t-shirts (Ym, Yl), $20 backstage pass laminates, $20 tour booklets, $10 posters, $10 comic books, $6 glow sticks, $5 pictures, $5 keychains, $2 tattoos. I'm sure there were more things but I don't remember. The opening acts were: 2 rappers called the Jumping Brothers or something, then Willa Ford performed, (she's Mandah aka Mandy Willaford, aka Nick's ex(current?)girlfriend.) J.B. got a good response, but Willa didn't. I guess the fans knew who she was, because someone throw a bottle at her (plastic, and no it didn't hit her.) Finally around 8:40 pm (almost two hours after the doors were opened), BSB came out. Here's a list of the songs they performed in order:

[Batman suits]

1.Larger Than Life
2.Get Down
3.The One

[black leather jackets]

4.As Long As You Love Me (chair routine)
5.Don't Want To Lose You Now
6.Quit Playing Games (BSB throw goodies)

[Disney LTL suits]

7.Don't Want You Back

[take off 'armor']

8.The Perfect Fan

[dark gray suits]

9.Back To Your Heart

[white suits]

10.Everybody
11. That's The Way I Like It
12. We've Got It Goin On

[silver vests, grey ties]

13.Spanish Eyes
14.I'll Never Break Your Heart/Nunca Te Hare Llorar
15.No One Else Comes Close

[Black coats, hats]

16.All I Have To Give
17. Show Me The Meaning

[casual stuff, Nick wore a green jersey, others wore muscle shirts]

Encores

18. It's Gotta Be You
19. I Want It That Way

Mandy opened for BSB (not too many cheers), Brian said Hi to Leighanne (fans cheered), and AJ introduced his dancer/girlfriend Christine (more cheers).

I LOVED the concert, and I loved what happened afterwards. I was outside w/ my cousin and we saw Leighanne and Brian in a limo! Leighanne looked really nice, and friendly. I barely saw Brian, I only saw the back of his head. But I'm almost positive it was him. Then the Backstreet band's bus passed by, and it temporarily parked in front of us, and we waved at the band, and we got waved back by Dennis Gallo! We knew he saw us because we were the only ones on the street! Then about a minute later we saw another bus, and it was really well lit because I swear I saw Aaron Carter,(and I think his dad was with him!!!) He saw us too and he smiled and waved. I was freaking out, what more could ask for?! I saw a lot more than I expected to see and since this was my first concert, all the extras I saw after the show was a special gift...too bad I was out of film!!!

I cant wait to go to another BSB concert!!!! KTBSPA, ~Kat~

There is this saying I have, "I'll never be the same, now that I'm with God." I say that when my heart grows heavy and so I remember those words to help me cope with anything. Well, I have this new saying; "I'll never be the same, now that I have seen the Backstreet Boys." It might now seem as though one little concert can compare to the events of a holy epiphany, but it defiantly felt like I was renewed.

My quest to see the Backstreet Boys concert started early last summer when the first leg of the "Into the Millennium Tour" was announced. I was very disappointed when Houston wasn't going to be one of the stops. And there was no word on a second leg to the US tour. Finally mid-fall, the second leg was announced and Texas was going to be hit heavy.

I purchased my tickets online which was probably the smartest thing to do. I don't agree with the Ticket Master lottery process. The lottery was created to give everyone a fair change to get a ticket by picking your number out of a hat. If your number wasn't called, maybe next year. So I got my tickets online and they were good seats as well.

The day of the concert, I attended the Monday show, was all about anticipation. I was ready for it not really knowing what to expect. The Backstreet Boys are not just musicians to me. They are the shoulders I sometimes need, the friend that are always with me, and the reminder that with faith, all things are possible. So actually being able to see them in the flesh had not hit me yet. But I don't think they will ever know how much they mean to every single person that attended and feels the same as I do.

I took my seat and I was ready for what was promised to an amazing show. The Jungle Brothers took the stage and that was the last time I saw my seat. They were extremely energized and got the crowd ready. They had me on my feet and working the crowd participation. The second act was a young girl by the stage named Willa Ford (her real name is Amanda Williford). She was high impact and worked the crowd too. Her dancing was virtuous and high energy and the songs were catchy. The opening acts set the stage for what was to be the greatest show I have ever witnessed.

There was a 30 minute wait which went by without me even noticing because the Compaq Center played your average "Shake Your Booty" songs to keep the energy up. In that time we discuss how the Boys would make their entrance.

Much to our surprise they entered from a curtained area on our side of the stage. They flew out over the crowd onto the pentagon shaped stage to the theme from Star Wars. From there the explosions and excitement began. The first number was Larger Than Life. It's a crowd favorite and a great way to start off the show. Following was a string of hits from Millennium and there first album.

The best moment for me was when Brian flew out in front of us on a harness and did a bit of his running man act. I was quite impressed with Howie's back flipping all the way back to the stage, fasten to his harness of course.

I would have to say that the performance of Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely was one of the high lights for me because that song hits so close to home. It's a song about an emotion of immense sadness in the loss of a loved one. I've lost a lot of people in just the pass few months and my friend who was with me, lost her father to cancer the night before the show. The only reason she wanted to go was to here that song. It's almost as if they knew we needed to hear it. We needed that song to feel the grieving, to feel the hurt. And we did. And it will go down in my life as one of the most beautiful moments of my life.

The show ended in style, going out to an explosive performance of I Want It That Way. The band and dancers were announced which, I was in awe by them as much as the Boys. They have a talented group of dancers with them as well as a band that really stood out in my eyes. A special credit to the only girl member of the band, Mindi Abair, she played the saxophones amazingly along with Kevin as he did his intro into Back to Your Heart as well as throughout the show.

I have to say that there will never be anyone else that can compare to that show. They themselves may be able to out do it but no one else. Honestly, I have never seen anything like it before. I can't form the words to justly describe it. My only complaint is that that it had to end.

Feb 28

I arrived at the venue around 6:30. It took about 30 minutes just to get in the venue! The opening acts came on at 7:30. They were two guys 'rapping' and Willa (Mandy) was great. The crowd didn't cheer as loud for her though. The boys came out 8:30ish. The screams were deafening. They surfed around for a few minutes and landed. They looked like they were on a space mission. They saluted the dancers and got in formation ((boys in one line in front, dancers in a line in the back)). They broke out into Larger Than Life. The crowd was VERY energetic! Then they did Get Down. The crowed loved it too. They introduced themselves starting with Nick. Nick asked how they liked his haircut and the audience screamed VERY loud. I'm not clear about the order..After that they just did their songs, getting the crowd to sing along sometimes. In the middle of the show, Nick mentioned that he had gotten a pug here (Houston) about 2 years ago. And he said that he had named it Houston, the crowd went wild and he mentioned that Houston was here and he'd bring her out later. They go on with their songs.

During The Perfect Fan Nick was holding hands with this 7 year old girl and he was being like a big brother to her. It was so cute! Then they introduced the dancers. Kevin told my area that we were 'his side' and introduced the guitar players and dancers. I think Nick was the one who was most exited about the concert. He got the audience hyped up. The audience was being really supportive and doing that "O'ua O'ua!" thing that they do in Backstreets Back! The end is one where I recomend future concert go-ers to save their film for. Someone threw a basketball on stage and Brian was being all cute with it! He bounced it around and was just ..cute! He threw something into the crowd (I think it was the basketball..I'm not sure). Nick said 'Yo Brian! You gotta warn people when you do that!' Then Nick brought out Houston for the people in front row to pet. He said stuff like 'Dont growl, c'mon no bite, no bite.'

Someone threw a banner for AJ and AJ wrapped himself in it. He then dropped it and Nick picked it up and threw it to the crowd. I really think he should'nt have done that because he threw it at a Security Staff person and you could see this swarm of people grabbing at the banner! AJ also took his waterbottle and emptyed it over a corner in the floor seats. People were just under it trying to get a drink of the water! Brian was the one who was being the most ...umm..'baby cute' about it all. You know, his dancers were so cute and the actions and faces! My friends , Cindy and Shelby, had a sign saying 'Congratulations Brian and Kevin!'. Brian pointed at them and waved! The concert is SO much fun! But if you're buying a shirt, watch out! I received a shirt which was from the last tour starting with Ft. Lauderdale. I hope everybody who's going has lots of fun! I wanna go to the 2-29 concert!

Hi there!

I'm Erica (Evie, please) and I saw the Backstreet Boys, for the second time, tonight. My first "Into the Millennium" experience was on the last leg when I won a radio contest to see them in New Orleans, LA. I've just gotten home from the venue. My seats were great, they had better be at the price we paid! $100 each... 2 tickets, for my brother and me.

The opening acts were a duo called "Jungle Brothers" and a girl named "Willa" was second up. Her full name is Amanda Willaford, hence, her stage name, and she's Nick Carter's girlfriend. (Oh sob!) Okay, past that. THe smoke came out and the "Star Wars Theme" began to play. Because of the great seats we had, (Floor 3, Row V) I got some nice snaps of them! They did the usual and nothing too out of the ordinary. The only things I noticed to have changed from the last leg is that they included "It's Gotta Be You" into the encore instead of just "I Want It That Way." Maybe some other little things here and there too... (Don't forget Lionel Richie popping up!)

I would like to congratulate them on the great vocals they had throughout the show. Compared to the one in New Orleans, they sang a lot better this time around. THey seemed "into it." Also, the Houston crowd was very *loud.* Much, *muh* louder than New Orleans. Hey girls! We're gonna keep AJ to his promise and make him live here, alright? lol Hang tight, Houston. They'll be back... alright!

Oh my God!

I have to say this is the best BSB concert EVER! And by ever, I mean ever. (well... at least out of the two they did in Houston!) I went to both shows, on the 28th and 29th, and the second one was just amazing.

There was no seat empty in the house, and the crowd was louder than ever. As most of the people that read this reviews know what the show is about, I'll only talk about the cool details of it, which BTW were just amazing. First of all, Nick played the drums in "Back To Your Heart", and it was just so funny. We saw Bubba get up and Nick sit, and then the spotlight was on him, Kevin (in the piano) and the other three boys on the floor. Brian sang his part, and when Nick's came on it was so funny, cause everyone could hear him but no one knew were he was! At the screens you could see Brian turning around his head looking for Nick, and he didn't see him, until everyone started to scream as they found Nick was actually playing the drums and singing!!! Wow!!! It was soooo incredible!

Then, at the end of that song, all the lights went on (they usually went off to prepare for "Everybody) and Kevin started to say that the show was gonna have a little break. I actually freaked, 'cause I had no idea of what was happening, 'cause it didn't happen last night!, and the he announced that a good friend was on town and he was there to visit them... and... Lyonel Richie (don't know if that how you spell it) came on stage. He played the piano and the boys sang with him one of his song. GOD! I was melting. It was just sooooo amazing. Then, when the slow part came (meaning, Spanish Eyes, NOECC and SMTMOBL), The boys sang "I'll Never Break Your Hear" half in Spanish and half in English! It was sooo cool, 'cause I am from South America and just one of the few to actually know the spanish lyrics.

The night before it was so funny, 'cause A.J. started it in English... and the Brian, Nick and Kev looked at each other like "what's with him" ('cause they were supposed to sing it in Spanish), and then Brian could pick it up in Spanish and continue... Wow! (I know they don't usually sing it in spanish, that's why I think it's cool)

Wow! the show were just amazing, and knowing they were the boys' first in Houston, makes them so much more amazing! Aj and Nick actually talked abot movin' over. What do you think? And (I hadn't noticed that b4) but I though it was so funny when Nick said that Howie had his own label and that it was called "Wannabe Rapper Records". Awwwwww....

*Scheherazade* A southamerican fan in Houston!

P.S. Just for the record: the crowd did love Nick's new haircut. Cause he asked about it and... let me tell you what he said: "I might keep it this way".

I also went to the concert in New Orleans, LA on February 26th. It was awesome! I was able to go to one last year (Memphis) and this one far exceeded it. First off, they looked exceptionally hot! The costumes were better. Plus they were alot more carefree and playful. AJ was balleting during Perfect Fan. He was so cute! This one time, AJ was shaking his butt and the camera zoomed in on it. Oh my god, it was nice! Nick was wearing this harlequin clown hat with mardi gras colors. It was so funny when the crowd was throwing the beads back. AJ was dodging them and was like "hey!" Someone threw something bigger once and AJ was like "what was that?"

But this one thing shocked me. During "That's the Way I Like It", Brian was wearing a white, no sleeved shirt underneath a jacket. When he was dancing, he was taking it off very sexily! Everyone knows that Brian does not "strip" so that was a highlight!

I had worse seats compared to the other concert I went to. I had nosebleeders this time. But it wasn't bad. The only problem was that I couldn't really tell who was who.

Backstreet really surprises me how well they sing and harmonize together! I am so proud of them. The concert made me love them even more! But I would say New Orleans fans are crazy! I saw so many cars with writing and every car that passed by played the cd already. This guy on the street starting singing "everybody" and everyone around him started going along too! It was too cute. One more thing. My friends and I were so into the concert that we were screaming the songs back to BSB like we were doing the concert. People were watching us more than the Boys!

My name is Tina.  I am a 26 yr old mother of 2 and I also have a step daughter that is 10.  She and I and my sister Angie ( she's 22), my friend Sandy (30) and her 2 daughters (10 & 7) went to the concert in N.O. this weekend.  It was the most amazing (vacation) I have ever had.  We saw the 8th wonder of the world and I don't just mean BSB at the concert.

We arrived in N.O. Friday 2/25/00 and checked into our hotel and asked our desk clerk if she knew where the bsb's were staying and she said, "We can't give out that info" we begged her and she just like that wrote it down w/the address and then she proceeded to tell us how to get there and that the mardi gra parades ran down that street.  She advised that they may be at the parades.  So we ran to the van to tell the others we knew where they were staying.  We unloaded our stuff and went to the hyatt to eat the man there gave us directions to the hotel.  On the way we got caught in a parade.  It was fun, but the best is yet to come.

We finally got to the hotel and got in, we could not believe we were actually in the hotel.  We say some dancers so we knew that they were staying at this hotel.

Saturday morning we all got up at 7:00 am and got ready to go looking for them we went straight to the hotel and looked at all the exits and looked every where for them finally we decided to go to the mall and look for them and then we went to the superdome and looked for them we found their buses and took pictures, but we still couldn't find them.  Ever time we would be sooooo close and then they never would be there.  We went back to our hotel and got ready for the concert and gave up on seeing them any where but on the stage.

At about 8:30 they came out, me and my sister were crying.  Let me remind you how old we are and both mothers.  We were so excited.  I don't need to give any details on the songs sang, everyone knows what and the order, but Kevin did come out with a feather mask not a cat mask on and it was black and he was wearing all black and I have never seen him looking sooooooo good.  My sister, favorite is Howie and she did comment that he sang "Spanish Eyes" soooooo beautiful (his part).

Our seats were on the first level close to the stage, but at the end we went down to the gate for the last 2 songs.  We were so close and we got good pictures.  I bet you think that is what was soo good about our weekend, but it AIN'T!!!!

As soon as the concert was over we ran out and ran down the street in the rain and cold wind to their hotel and sat in the lobby for a few minutes because we were so tired, wet and cold.  We had pretty much gave up on seeing any of them and were waiting to get a cab to go back to our hotel.

I was sitting with my back against a window and I was looking up to the second floor and everyone else was looking down when out of no where walks the MAN OF MY DREAMS!!!!!   KEVIN RICHARDSON!!!! WITH HIS BODY GUARD VERY CLOSE BY.  I was in such shock, I just said omg Kevin just walked by and I ain't lying.  We all jumped up and ran up the stairs and he was just standing there on the  phone at the front desk.  Of course the body guard made us go back down, but we kept going back up there and we got it all on film.  My sister had the camcorder and she waved and got Kevin to look right at the camera, but I was so stuned I thought I was taking pictures, but when I got my film back I only had one of him walking off.  I was in total shock.

After that we decided we were staying for a while.  My sister was sitting in a chair by the elevators and the rest of us were standing there when all of a sudden she sees someone dressed in all black w/a COWBOY HAT ON!!!!!!!!!!! I give you one guess who.......Yes it was AJ!!!  We were so excited, I did take alot of pictures of him and she also got it on tape.

So this is what made our weekend.  We also did something in the concert that I better not put on line.  If they happen to read and see it we could be in alot of trouble,  but I will say we have a few clips of the concert that we can look at anytime we want!!!

OH YEAH, WE WROTE ON THEIR BUS WINDOWS!!!!  IT WAS COMPLETELY AWESOME AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN.  OUR OTHER SISTER IN TEXAS IS TRYING TO WIN US TICKETS FOR THE DALLAS CONCERT.

OH YEAH, WE HAVE BOTH CRIED EVERYDAY SINCE SATURDAY.  THIS IS AWFUL.  WE ARE GROWN MARRIED WOMEN WITH CHILDREN AND WE ARE CRYING LIKE OUR HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART BROKE UP WITH US OR SOMETHING.  WE HAVE GONE OVER AND OVER THIS AND CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW WE WENT SOOOOO CRAZY!!!

IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THEM I HOPE YOU GET TO THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!  PLEASE EXCUES THE ERRORS!

O my god, i just got back from my second BSB concert!!!!!!! this time the Concert was in the Superdome in New Orleans, where 57,000 people were!!!!! i went with my Mom, aunt, little cozen, her friend and my friend Kristen. i was soooo happy b/c the tickets said 4th row floor and those are really good tickets but to my disappointment when i got there it was 4th row in a section behind a section :>( but n e way we were still pretty close but them i saw my friends and they had 8th row tickets so we took there ticket stubs and went and dubbed up on the seats 1/2 way through the show witch was really cool. the concert just plain was awesome i was freaking out it was sooo fun, me and Kristen were making total fools out of our selves screaming ad dancing then when it was quiet when Kevin started playing the piano we screamed "We Luv You Kevin!!!!" and he heard us and looked and smiled. them Kristen took a pair of beads from around her neck and through them on stage but it hit 1 of the mothers on the head during the perfect fan, 'OOPS!!!!' and we had the beads b/c it is Mardi Gras time down here in Louisiana. during larger than life Kevin got this black Mardi Gras mask and was wearing it, it looked pretty funny then during quit playing games with my heart when they flew above us, all 5 BSB were throwing out beads, but i unfortinally did not catch any. and nick's hat was priceless in the end, it was a FUNNY joker had 4 Mardi Gras again. during as long as you love me, Kevin was doing his chair dance then when he had to jump off it he fell, pore kev. but i think he was all right b/c he just got back up and started dancing again. and that was really all the very interesting reviews i got. o well, i just want to say that the backstreet boys put on 1 hell of a show and if u even have the chance to go see it jump on that opportunity!!!!!

Hi, I'm Jennifer and I went to the New Orleans concert on the 26th of Feb. and it was the greatest night ever! I'm 17, yup an older BSB fan, and I couldnt have enjoyed the concert any more than I did. I actually went with 4 cousins and I took my mother! Her favorite is Howie and she loved it! Here's the scoop on what my boys did in my city! LOL

They stayed at the Hotel Inter-Continental and ate at Acme Oyster House, a famous restaurant, they ate at Smith and Wollensky's Steak House on Friday night, and went to a club called the "Cat's Meow" (which is kinda like a karaoke bar) :) A couple of my friends drove A.J. and his g/f to Wendy's after the concert...LOL They almost died! Other than that, I'm not sure what else they did.

As for the concert, I saw the first one from the very top of the arena, but this time I was 1st level and had a much better view. The guys were awesome!! Each of them spoke, of course, in the beginning. Nick asked if we noticed anything different about him, and everyone screamed "Hair!!" And he said, "Do you guys like it?" and we all screamed "Yes!!" Brian came out and personally thanked everyone for our support...A.J. complimented all the beautiful ladies in the audience, and Howie and Kevin thanked everyone for their support also. The show sold out the Superdome which for concerts holds around 50,000 (normally holds 75,000, but a part of the dome was sectioned off and not used.) The boys sang all their songs from last concert, but with more energy ( more people there).

Nick started losing his voice in the middle of the concert, but he was still awesome! The guys threw mardi gras beads to the crowd when they were suspended on cables...Kevin came out in the beginning wearing a mardi gras mask...Nick wore a mardi gras jester hat (perfect) and Brian wore a HUGE pair of mardi gras beads. The guys seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves and A.J. and Nick thanked us at the end of the show. They told us we are crazy and that they're definately coming back soon! LOL The sound was sooooo loud, but you could hear the guys over the crowd which was the most important thing. It was a phenomenal concert, and NO ONE can ever convince me that any group works harder than these guys!

Feel free to e-mail me if any of you want to talk!

Jennifer, New Orleans, LA, (Nick...be my Senior Prom Date!!!) LOL

First off I must say, I have fallen in love with the BsB all over again! They are sooooo talented! But I guess you don't need me to tell you that!

Well anyway, as most of you proabubly already know, right now it's Mardi Gras season for Louisiana. So New Orleans is already wild enough, but the concert just added to it! The guys seemed to enjoy it allot!

Well they started to concert off just like the rest, each of them did their into. A.J. made his usual comment about all of the ladies in the audience being beautiful, and then he said that he wants to move to New Orleans..... Nick asked if anyone noticed anything different, and he said that he knows something is different with him, but he couldn't figure it out himself... then he acted like he only just notice and said it was his hair.... Oh and when Kevin did his intro he came out with a Mardi Gras Mask on that looked like a black cat, he kept it on for the first song, he was to cute! He also said that it was a blessing to be in the dome because last time they were in N.O. they were across the street at the sports arena that only holds 15,000 people... the super dome holds 80,000, despite the area they had curtained off, I'm told it was sold out and there were 75,000 tickets sold (I don't know if it's true thats only what I was told.)

Anyway as for the rest of the concert it was amazing! It pretty much went like the rest of the concerts, but when the boys flew over the crowd (not on the surf boards) they were throwing Mardi Gras Beads! The crowd really seemed to love the fact that they were getting into our culture so much (through out the concert they were wearing Mardi Gras hats, shirts and such..) they went crazy and totally loved it! Also while they were throwing beads Howie was upside down and he started doing back flips in the rig. When he finally got back on the stage and they removed the rig he started to run to the other side of the stage, but quickly slowed it down to walking when he stumbled a few steps to the left. lol he could hardly walk from being so dizzy.

When they were introducing the dancers was by far the funniest, if you go to one of their concerts this tour, be sure that you watch all of the guys!! At one time Nick was doing something that I don't think could even be considered dancing, then A.J. ran up to him and hit him and then started showing him "the right way" to dance, which, lol wasn't much better! They were still all dancing around when A.J. runs out with this pink feather thing, and then he started fighting with one of the dancers over it! the dancer pulled it away from him and his arm was stuck in it, it was soo funny, I think they ended up with it in two pieces though lol. After that someone threw a huge bone on the stage, well actually it hit the sound board and the guy standing there threw it to A.J. and A.J. looked like he was having a blast with it, lol he ran all over the stage with it jumping around with it on his leg. (A.J. also threw his hat in the audience after that) and of corse Howie raped while he introduced his side!~ (Nick called him something like Funky D I couldn't understand him) this was by far the cutest I have ever seen him! It was soooo adorable!!!!! He had on a hooded shirt, and he was jumping up and down, and on the big screens they did smething so that it shook when he jumped, this was by far my fave. part out of the whole concert, it was just so cute!!!!

Anyway When they came back on for the encore, A.J. and Brian were wearing saints jackets.... now that is DANGEROUS fashion statement! People were also throwing Mardi Gras t-shirts on the stage, and Brian kept putting them on, he had on so many shirts! But someone threw yet another shirt on stage, and he laughed and said 'yeah lets see how many I can put on'. After that Nick asked "hey everyone in here knows where to find A.J. tonight.....right?" My friends and I all screamed (even thought he couldn't hear us) Bourbon St.!!!" and right after A.J. laughed and said "hey I'm goin' to Bourbon St.!" (do we know A.J. or what? lol) We would have gone to Bourbon after the concert, we were all wired and ready to go, but.... my Friend had her sisters 9 yr. old with her, and there is no way we could bring a 9yr old to Bourbon, she would be scared for life! I really don't that they went there though..... But the concert was just amazing! and the guys and their band seem to love New Orleans (A.J. said that the night before Mindi ate 10 Dozen oysters, at Acme Oyster house. )

This concert was by far the best I have Ever been to! The only problem I had with it is that the sound was so terrible, I'm telling you my ears are still ringing! I'm sure that all of us lost a little hearing, the sound was just hrrible! The dome wasn't made for concerts and the feed back was terrible, the the sound rattles, and it was really hurting our ears.... there was even a time when the monitor was on Brian, and he belted a note that would have other wise been beautiful, but the feed back was so terrible that he shook his head and made a face. But all in all it was worth it... so what if we're deaf now, we got to see the Backstreet Boys!!!!!! It was just amazing! But there was one time I was worried about Nick, during Back to your heart (I think) he was belting out a solo and it sounded painful, he really had to push his voice to finish it, then he put his hand on his head and kept his head down until he had to sing again, and when he did he sounded like he was really having to push his voice (at least it sounded like it). But after that he seemed fine, I don't know maybe sometihng was wrong, or it could have just been bad feed back I was hearing..... but they were all so cute, and of corse they sang their hearts out, this was a night I will never forget! Maybe next time instead of dealing with the dome they can just have two or three concert back to back, in the Arena so that all the people that can fit in the dome can see them (thats why they came back and did the concert in the dome (I think), last time they were here only 15,000 people got to see them, and the super dome fits 65,000 more people) (but yeah right like they have the time to have three concerts here lol, I guess we just have to put up with the feed back from the dome but it's worth it) Well, sorry for going on and on and on, lol but this concert was truly the best, I can't wait until they tour here again!

Luv always,

Angel

I was sooooooooo excited!!!!I can't believe it!!Brian Thomas Littrell was so close to me,I could have seen those gorgeous blue eyes of his... :)

And Howie even rapped...Nick was like,"You can't do it" and so he did! And they started the concert off with one of my personal favorites, "Larger Than Life"...and then later, the got back on their strings and flew over the audience again and yep,BRIAN was on my side again(YA!!!!).....

I flew down from Rhode Island to see the St. Petersburg, FL show on February 24th. I have to say that this was the 4th bsb show ive seen and definately my fav so far. Even though it was the same show that I saw in Boston and Atlanta, for this one I had 5th row floor seats and it rocked the house. I had never been on the floor for a bsb show and it was really great. Heres a few things about the show etc...

-They didnt stay overnight in Florida. They went straight to New Orleans on the 24th.

- Two girls that I met at the show and at NYPD Pizza a few days earlier got to meet bsb at the airport the morning of the 24th at like 6am.

- I saw Tommy Smith at the show before it started. I wasnt positive it was him so I didnt say anything to him but I should have. Im an idiot. He looked like he was looking for something.

- At the last few shows that I went to it seemed like there were bsb crew members everywhere but at this show it was like all Tropicana Field staff people. I dunno, it was just weird.

- I went to Howies house in Orlando. That was a trip. My mom was like "Steal the cat" lol.

- I tried to find Nicks house in Ruskin but I couldnt find it. All I could find were trailor parks and I couldnt even find the beach. (We drove around for like 3 hours).

- I took millions of pics but I havent gotten them back yet. I also tape recorded the whole thing. The funniest part about that is that I can hear myself talking like the whole time. lol. I sound so dumb. If anyone wants a copy of it, Let me know.

- The funniest part of the whole show was that there was a celeb in the audience... You would never guess so Ill just tell ya... HULK HOGAN. Yes, the wrestler. I took a bunch of pics of him. LoL.

Thats it for now! I cant think of what else to tell you guys! Nick was really really hot as usual.

The St Pete concert was incredible. First off I was able to get 3rd row seats. I had gone to the first two concert at the Ice Palace in December. The crowd on the floor was fairly tame at those shows. This show was WILD! There were tons of people trampling their way to the front of the stage and the security guards couldnt get them all out. Everyone was crying and screaming that they had non existent seats just to stay up front. Tropicana Field holds 45,000 stadium seats so with the floor seats included you can image how packed it was. OK enough about that... on with the show! The first opening act was very entertaining. They were the Jungle Brothers. Two guys that can really get the crowd pumped. They did a 15 minute show and were the best opening act the boys have had on this tour so far. The next opening act looked like an all girl group but turned out to be one girl with 4 dancers. She must have been nervous because she introduced everyone but herself. No one ever found out who she was! OK on to the good stuff!! If you read the reviews from other concerts you know how it starts with the Star Wars music. As always everyone screamed their hearts out when the countdown started.

The first thing you can see is Nick's new do! It's 100% adorable however... it makes him look 5 years younger! Anyway.. the Boys have new outfits for the beginning of the show. They are more like the Batman outfits. Form fitting rubber with muscles on them... very cute. The first song was Larger than Life of course and it was great and let me tell you that it is REALLY hot standing in front of that fire! Ok... next song was Get Down and that one seemed to go by pretty quickly. Then was The One which was awesome. Nick came down off the stage right in front of my section... unfortunately because of all the annoying people that I mentioned earlier... I couldnt see him too well. Then came the intros... Nick's was the longest because "he's from Tampa" and had to talk about the Bucs and all the local stuff. After the rest of the guys talked was As Long As You Love Me. The guys have black jackets now instead of blue ones. When they did the chair dance Kevin was right in front of us. He made the turtle face but he still looked cute. Now the dancers come out while the boys change into their black outfits. Then they sang Don't Want to Lose You Now followed by Quit Playing Games. We got Howie flying over us and I caught some of the flowers he threw out which was cool.. however... he was spinning really fast on his harness and sweat was flying everywhere! I'm not talking a little.. I'm talking where's my umbrella! It's all good though. After this came Back to Your Heart which the Boys sat completely on the other side of the stage for. That stunk. After that was Don't Want You Back which is always cool. Same black outfits with red pads.

We had AJ on our side for this. He was waving and having "fun" with his pole. Nick stepped on his for a minute and then got down and sat on the stage. I think maybe it was too wobly for him. After this they slow it down for the Perfect Fan. This is such a great song. Now that I am thinking I can't remember if Back to Your Heart was before Don't Want You Back or after Perfect Fan? Oh well. Then they change into the white outfits which I love. They do Backstreet's Back, We've Got It Goin On and That's the Way I Like It where Nick takes off his white jacket to reveal his sexy silver tank top.. no do rag this time. After this they change into their zoot suits. No more pink ones... they now have gorgeous black ones with white pin stripes. Very nice. They sing Spanish Eyes, I'll Never Break Your Heart and No One Else Comes Close on stools. This is when I saw Leighanne try to sneak by. My cousin and I said "Hey Leighanne!" and she turned, waved and said hello before going into the cage around the stage. That was cool. After that they do All I Have to Give and the hat dance which was perfect as usual. Then they did Show Me the Meaning. Now its close change time and everyone is getting sad because its near the end. They no longer have those funky dragon pajama pants. They have regular black pants and each has a tank top of a different color. Nick had a Bucs jersey on though. The song is It's Gotta Be You. With the hoo-hoos (you know what I'm talking about). This is my fave part of the show because the Boys just start acting silly.

Nick pretended to take a nap on the stage and then he played some bball with Brian. They introduced the band and dancers and Nick introduced Howie the rapper. Brian was playing got your nose with Nick. Very sweet. Then they sang the end of the songs and had fireworks and shot out loads of confetti. They walked around the stage and bowed. Then they came out for the last song which was obviously I Want It That Way. They wore Devil Ray shirts with their names on the back. Now... I don't know how but somehow they made a shirt for Nick that was too small. Everyone else's had PLENTY of breathing room. Anyway... after this song there was tons of people screaming to get out. We tried to stay inside as long as possible but security kept pushing us out. It's amazing how fast they can disassemble that stage. After they kicked us out we walked around to the bus entrance and waited for them to come out. They all left in their own personal vehicles ecorted by 4 cops. It was definately a night to cherish. I just want to say thanks to the BSB for their commitment to their fans and for making dreams come true.

Also... everyone support Nick and buy your Backstreet comics!

THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE

Sunday February 20, 2000 was so far the best night of my life! That was the night that I saw the Backstreet Boys in concert from a third row floor seat. Let me back track just a little first. I have been a huge BSB fan for several years now. I went to my first BSB concert September 17, 1999 in Charlotte, NC. In August I had waited for several hours in line at a Peaches Music store and was lucky enough to get tickets in the lower level just to the left of the front of the stage. The view was great and the show was by far the best I had ever seen. The Backstreet Boys sure know how to put on a show. Their vocals and dance moves are so awesome and the entire show was entertaining. My thirteen-year-old daughter loved it and my husband even enjoyed the show. So, when I heard that the Boys were coming back to North Carolina in February I just had to get tickets again. This time we went back to Peaches Music store December 11, 1999 and stood in line for about 4 hours and this time we were just lucky to get tickets. The three shows in North Carolina sold out in just over an hour and when we finally got up to the counter to get our tickets, for Greensboro, they were in the upper level, third row from the ceiling. I was so disappointed. I really wanted good seats so that I could enjoy the show again. Then I realized that I was one of the lucky ones who actually got tickets and since I had seen the show before I figured that the important thing was that I was going to at least be in the same room as the Boys. I would be able to hear the show and maybe with the monitors I would be able to see most of it. I just couldn't wait until February!

While chatting online with friends I found out that they had three tickets for the Charlotte concert that they wanted to sell because they had gotten better seats. The tickets that they had for sale were in the lower level, two sections over from where we sat in September so I knew that they were great seats. I jumped on the tickets and bought them just after Christmas. Now I knew I would get to see the Boys in Charlotte and Greensboro and I was ecstatic! I love the Millennium tour and couldn't wait to see it again. It seemed like February would never come.

Finally, February 17, 2000 arrived and it was time for the Charlotte concert. I was so excited I couldn't stand it. We got there at about 6pm and were the first ones through the gates. We bought our souvenirs right away and found our seats and couldn't believe how good they were. They were dead center stage and we had a great view of the whole show. When the show started I knew right away that it was going to be very different from the first show. The crowd was more controlled than the last time. They didn't scream constantly through the whole show and you could actually hear the music and the vocals quite well. The band sounded amazing and the Boys vocals were awesome! In September we were the first show of the tour and they had to work out all the kinks and things and it wasn't as polished as it was this time. This show in Charlotte was so phenomenal! The vocals were so tight and the dancing was so incredible. The guys seemed more relaxed and Nick even talked more. He was so cute. I loved the new haircut! We had the best time at the concert and didn't even mind the cold rain we had to walk through on the way to the van after the show. It was all worth it. The show was so good that I couldn't wait until the next one on Sunday.

Since the concert in Greensboro was on a Sunday I had all day to spend in Greensboro. I was especially excited because I was going to meet some of my fellow MFC members. We meet at a local restaurant to get ready for the show and to put the finishing touches on a birthday card for Brian. It was so cool meeting other "older" fans whom loves the Boys as much as I do. All the Backstreet Boys fans are so nice! I had the best time hanging out with them. While we were at the restaurant and listening to the car radio we heard that they had released 200 more tickets for the show. It was almost 3pm and we were less than five minutes from the venue so we rushed over to the ticket office to try to get better seats. Remember that we had upper level third row from the ceiling seats and anything would have been better. We waited in a short line and when we got to the window the man in front of us got the last floor seat and all they had left was upper level. We went back to the restaurant where the others were and told them that we just missed out on the tickets. One of the MFC members had a lower level seat for sale so I bought that from her. I was so happy that now I would be able to see the show.

At 3pm we headed over to the venue and headed for the tour buses. There was no sign of the Boys anywhere. We went to the ticket office to check with security about getting the birthday card and present back to Brian. They kept telling us to wait and a couple of hours later while we were still standing in the ticket office my daughter noticed some girls paying cash for tickets. The girls screamed like crazy when they got their tickets so I ran up to the window to see what was going on. The man at the window said that they had floor seats available. The husband of one of the MFC members bought a front row floor seat for his wife and I told the man at the box office that I wanted a ticket right where she was. I bought my ticket and walked over to my husband and daughter and looked at the ticket and realized that it was third row not first. I was angry and went back to the counter and the man said he didn't have first row anymore even though he had just told me that he did and that that was what I was getting. He asked if I wanted my money back and I said no! It finally sank in that I was about to be less than five feet from the Backstreet Boys! I started shaking and couldn't believe how lucky I was to have been in the right place at the right time for once in my life. Now we had five tickets for three people. My husband was worried about selling the other two tickets but he only had to wait ten minutes and he had sold them. We lost $20 on the upper level seat but it was more than worth it for the seat that I got!

I had to wait an agonizingly long time for the show to start. It was only 5pm and the Boys wouldn't take the stage until around 8:20pm. The longer I waited the more excited I got. We hung around the buses until around 6:30pm and it started to get dark and cold and the Boys were no where to be seen so we headed inside. We got a couple more souvenirs, the comic book in particular and waited to be let into the venue. I hadn't eaten all day and we decided to get some snacks before the show. I was too excited to eat so I finally decided to go see where my seat was. My husband and daughter were still in the upper level so they couldn't go down there with me. We said goodbye until after the show and I went to find my seat. I walked down to the floor and asked the usher where Section D was since it wasn't on the seating chart. When they got the stage set up they added some seats in the space available. He started walking me up to the stage and then I spotted Gail the other MFC member who was going to be sitting in the front row right in front of me. I almost died when I saw how close we were and the fact that it was right on the corner of the stage that I call Kevin's corner. The very corner that Kevin does the ladder routine. I thought that I had died and gone to heaven. Kevin is my favorite BSB and I was going to be so close to him I couldn't believe it! There were only three rows where we were. Twelve seats in the first row, ten seats in the second row and only six seats in the third row. I was the sixth seat right on the end. I would have an unbelievable view from where I sat. We were actually closer than the original first row seats.

This was the biggest show that the Greensboro coliseum has ever had. They had unbelievable security there. I have never seen so many security guards and policemen at a concert in my life. After a while the opening act came out. The Jungle Brothers performed for about 10 minutes. I knew the Boys would be out in just a short while but 8:20pm came and still no BSB. At almost 9pm they still hadn't started the show. I thought that I would try to go to the bathroom one more time before the show started so I ran up the stairs and while I was in the bathroom I heard the crowd start yelling and rushed out. I didn't want to miss the opening of the show since I had such a great seat. I ran back to my seat and had to wait even longer. We found out later on the news that the harness for one of the guys had a malfunction and they had to trace the wires back to the source and fix it. The safety of the guys was top priority so I didn't mind the wait.

A little after 9pm the show finally started. I was looking at the stage when the girl next to me hit me in the arm and yelled look! I turned to my right and a security guard bumped into me. He was clearing a path for the band members to walk by to the stage; the band and dancers were literally a shoulder away from me. I yelled hey to Tommy Smith and then the dancers came by. It was so cool to be that close to the action. Now the Boys are coming onto the stage and I am so excited that my legs are shaking so badly that I think that I will fall down. I can just see it now. I get a great seat and I pass out and miss the whole show! Well, the Boys land on the stage and march around to each side. I try to take pictures but I'm shaking so badly I'm not sure if they will be in focus or not. When Kevin looks in my direction and nods I am in heaven. He looks so amazing that close! They get to the front of the stage start "Larger Than Life" and the best night of my life kicks into high gear! I finally calm down and am so into the show that I'm no longer shaking. I am singing along and clapping and cheering just like some silly schoolgirl. I'm thirty-seven years old and I was having the time of my life! I got a smile or two from Kevin, a wink from Howie, several smiles from Brian and Nick and several waves from AJ. I got to see each of the guys dance in front of me. AJ looked so good and is he ever sexy! Nick was looking so grown up with the new haircut. He sure has matured this last year. Howie was looking fine and Brian was so cute! Kevin looked so handsome and sexy and I was close enough to see those gorgeous green eyes of his! All the guys danced their butts off and sang their hearts out. They put on a truly amazing show! They had several new costumes. Super Hero suits at the beginning and dark grey pin stripe suits instead of the pink suits. I loved the pink suits and wish that they hadn't changed them. My favorite parts were when Kevin played the piano and when they did "All I Have To Give". I love the hat dance. Getting to see Kevin up close and personal on the ladder during "Don't Want You Back" was the highlight of the whole night. I just wish he had lost his pants again like in September since I had a much closer view this time. Seriously, the whole show was incredible. Sitting that close you feel like they are performing just for you and you get to see so much that goes on during costume changes and things that you can't normally see from a distance. We got to sing Happy Birthday to Brian. At the end of the show during "I Want It That Way" Nick got a hold of some silly string and sprayed AJ's head covering it with the pink stuff. He tried to get Brian but it was empty. Kevin picked up a rose and put it in his teeth and danced like a Spanish flamenco dancer. It was so funny. AJ threw his water on the crowd and I got a few drops of it on my arm. The guys were having a great time and it really showed. These guys know how to put on a show and they truly enjoy what they do.

The only complaint that I have about the show was the Greensboro security guards and how rude they were. They kept threatening us about taking pictures and that they would take our cameras or escort us out to our cars if we tried to take pictures. I had a great view and wanted to get some great pics but after taking several the security guard threatened me and I didn't want to lose my great seat or my camera so I kept my camera in my shirt pocket and had to sneak pictures when I could. I did get several great shots but not the ladder pics of Kevin that I had hoped to get. I also didn't get the hat dance pics either. The security guard that sat right in front of me watched me like a hawk through the whole show. During the encore I took a lot of pics because the show was almost over and by now everyone was taking pics and he didn't say anything to me then. Now I have some pics to remind me of the best night of my life. I can't put into words how much this concert meant to me. Kevin, AJ, Brian, Howie and Nick you are incredible men with amazing talents and I thank you for sharing that with me and the rest of your fans. You gave me a most wonderful gift of music, dance and laughs and I will treasure that night as long as I live! You touch so many people's lives and make so many people happy with your music. Keep up the great work! I love you and look forward to your next album and tour. Hopefully I will be lucky enough to get a great seat on the next tour. I'm spoiled now!

I have now officially experienced the most awesome event in history! Not only were the guys as wonderfully entertaining as always, but my friend and I played an integral part in the show as well!

I made a poster for Brian and for Nick. Before the show started, a woman with short reddish-brown hair came over to me from the stage and asked if I had a sign. I stood up and showed her Nick's, and then I showed her Brian's and she said "That's what I'm looking for." She asked me to stand up with it and she filmed me with a digital camera. It was taken by TC (Diary of a Backstreet Girl) and can be found on the official site.

On B-Rok's, I painted a picture of Tyke and it said Happy B-Day Daddy! When the guys lined up before "Larger Than Life," I held my poster up for Brian to see *(since my friend Candy and I were in the fourth row). He was absolutely adorable--he was trying to be so serious b/c they are standing there at attention, but this HUGE grin spread across his face after he read it. Candy even took a picture and you can see him smiling at me in it!!! Then, in about the middle of the concert, he was on our side again, so I held up the sign. He put his hands together, bowed his head, and said "Thank You, Thank You." I was on Cloud 9 by then anyway, but he looked at it again! Near the very end of the show, during the encores, he saw the sign again and he studied it really carefully. Then he pointed at it, grinned and said "Thank You" again and he kept looking at me to make sure I knew he'd noticed so I waved to him.

Not only did I get Brian's attention 3 times, but Nick saw the poster I made for him too! I painted the sign that says "Welcome to Ruskin" and at the bottom I put "Wish I Was There." During "Larger Than Life," Candy held the sign up for me so I could take pics. I saw Nicky glance our way, so I looked to see what his reaction was. I don't think he could read the whole thing, but he recognized it because he smiled a little and yelled one of those cute little "whoo's" that he does all the time. Also, during "No One Else Comes Close" when Nick was coming our way on the rotating platform, I held it up really high so he could see it. It took him a few seconds to read it, but he grinned really big and started laughing.

I also had the guard give Brian a card and a bride and groom bear to congratulate him on his engagement to Leighanne. My mom and sister were on the other side of the venue, and they said that during the bow a guard handed it to Kev and he read it and handed it to Brian. Brian laid it down on the stage and one of the dancers took it below the stage for him to keep!

Lastly, as if all of that wasn't enough to make me totally giddy with excitement, Candy and I had bought 2 pairs of boxing gloves at a toy store to throw up during the encores since all they really do is play. We threw one pair, and it landed at a crew member's feet. He picked them up and finally gave them to AJ. AJ put them on and started pretending to fight with Brian, so we threw the other pair for Brian and he put those on!!! They fought for a while and then Brian pretended to knock himself out. It was hilarious! When AJ went back up on the platform, Nick snatched one off of him and starting hitting him! They were all so cute. Kevin was watching them and laughing. Brian put his pair in a pile and one of the dancers took those offstage for him too. The dancer, Kristin, even had one on.

They were all so absolutely adorable. I'd never had seats that close before (even though this was my fifth show) and it was amazing. I'm so glad they all seemed to enjoy everything. I will never forget this experience (We also saw Mandy and Leighanne--Leighanne seemed like an absolute sweetheart **I was just upset that she didn't see my poster**).

One more thing, most of my pictures didn't turn out too well, so if anyone has any good pics of the show (especially the boxing gloves) I would absolutely love to work something out. Please contact me!!! I would really appreciate it!!!

I went to the Backstreet Boys concert last night in Greensboro on 2/20/00, B-Roks Birthday. Well, here is my review on the whole concert.

Opening Act-

The Jungle Brothers came on at 7:30 and they keep the crowd going for about 15 minutes. They did a song called "Vip" and some other ones that I just can't remember. They left the stage at 7:45 and re didn't have anyone else come on until the Backstreet Boys finally came in at 8:35.

Concert-

I didn't have the best seats in the house cause I was in the upper level, but I had binnacullers that worked extremely good, when it came to seeing the guys. The guys came in on their surf boards, which was on the opposite side of me. I was seating in the flat area of the pentagon stage. Then they did their march around the stage and it seemed like Kevin was the leader cause he would shake his head and then they would move to another side. When they got to the side that they came on they started doing "larger than life". Then on the second verse they were on my side. They did an extremely good job and boy do they know how to dance. Then they got in to "Get Down" which was awsome. I just love this song cause I love the part when aj raps and it so cute when he and kevin get into it. Nick and AJ were on my side and AJ was shaking his booty at one point, and boy does he know how to work it. Then they did "the one" and that song was good too. When they finished that everyone went to under except for Nick. Oh yeah, they had on those blue outfits.

Well Nick, he was on my side during his introductions, he asked us if we had noticed any thing different and we were like "your hair" and he said "that's right I got my haircut" Then he said that he was asking everyone on the tour to see if they like his new look. Then AJ came out to do his intro, oh AJ has cut his hair again. It's like a really close cut, you could say a shaved kinda look but with some hair. Well, he said that he likes all the beautiful women in Greensboro. Then he said that was Brian's birthday so we need to help celebrate it with him. So he calls for b-rok to come out  and all the other guys come out and they sing happy birthday. This all happened to the left side of the stage. Then they all go back and AJ finishes his intro. And Brian comes out next and starts thanking everyone and he talks about how he always wanted to have a big birthday party, but he never thought he we spend it with so many people.

We were so lucky he was spending it with us. Kevin a nd Howie did their intros, but I can't remember anything from it. After that they did "As Long as you love me" and they did the chair rotine, and we had nick and howie on my side. Then they did "don't wanna loose you now" which was so good. They went in for a costume change and came out in black leather. I was happy cause AJ had on his leopard hat on, okay I guess you can figure out AJ is my favorite, but Kevin looked very good in person. They did "quit playing games" and Nick and AJ were on my side when they did there flying in the audience, and Aj went flying backwards gettting everyone wet with a bottle of water. They did "Don't want you Back" next and Kevin and Howie were on my side with the ladders and Kevin was upside down for a while on that thing. Then they changed again and came out wearing white and AJ had on a cow print cowboy hat. Well they did "the perfect fan" and Nick had to keep stopping because of his partner and AJ was right behind him. Then Kevin had done his piano solo and the guys got on one side( my side) while Kevin was on the piano and they sang "back to your heart". Then it was time for them to pick things up and they did "Everybody/We've Got it Goin' On/That's the Way I Like it". It was awesome they way they did it. Kevin did his little booty shakin' and you all would want to see that and AJ ripped off his shirt. Man, that boy looks good with out a shirt.

They all were looking pretty good and Nick looks like he has been working out. Then they changed into their suits, but they didn't have the pink ones like everyone else says they wear, they wore pin-striped suites who looked really good on them. And they sang "spanish eyes" which is the only time during the concert AJ had on sunglasses. And then they did "I'll never break your heart" which AJ had his glasses off. Then came "no one else come close" where they have the middle stage rotating around. and they come back to do "all I have to give" with their famous hat trick, and I don't think anyone dropped their hat. They sang "show me the m eaning" after they dedicated it to Denniz Pop and that was awesome, and they said that was it. But they came back in to doing "it's gotta be you". Nick was wearing a jersey withh number 33, howie had on a jersy, brian had on a baseball tee, kevin a orange wife-beater, and AJ a yellow wife beater. they introduced the dancers and band halfway and AJ throw one of his cowboy hats into the audience. AJ and Nick had a boxing glove each and were hitting each other and Brian was messing around with a Basketball. Then they left and came back for " I want it that way" and they took their bows around the whole arena, and AJ was messing with a basketball. It may be a novel, but that was my review on the concert on B-Rok's B-Day.

Hey Guys!

Just thought I would give you my take on the concert at Greensboro last night.

It was a totally awesome concert but i'm sure you all ready know that. What made the night so special was that we got to spend Brians birthday with him. But let me tell you about the concert a little bit and then about Brian's birthday. After they came in on LTL. They did Get Down, Ill be the one, We've got it going on. Nick stayed while the other guys toweled down. He thanked everyone for coming out and asked if we noticed anything new about him. And yes Nick we did your hair. He got it cut it looks really good on him. He talked much longer than he did the last time i got to see him. Then AJ came on and thanked the fans and then he called Brian to stand front and center. I don't think Brian tursted them but all the guys sang happy birthday to him. And gave him hugs and stuff but that was it. Kind of disappointed but at least we did get to see Brian on his birthday. Then Howie talked for a couple of minutes then Brian talked saying how much he appreciated us and that he got to spend his birthday with so many people. That was sweet.

Then Kevin talked for a little bit it was totally amazing. You know the guys seemed much more relaxed this go around of the tour. They were more spontanious and seemed not to be as tightly coregraphed. I think that was made the concert more interesting. That and the fact that AJ flew right over top of us! Man he looked fine and we got to see him without his shirt. OMG! That is a memory i will take with me to my grave! Anyway the whole show was excellent the guys sounded great and I have to say that they deserve all the best. At the end of the show they also thanked the fans for them being nominated for their Grammy awards. i hope that they do get the Grammys they deserve it. KTBSBPA....

This is Catherine from Georgia. I am 25 and a 5th grade teacher and my students love the BSB! I was not too familiar with them. Only what I had heard on the radio. I was "surprised" with a ticket to a Novemeber show. I went even though I didn't know anything about them. Afterwards I met Brent (Nick's bestfriend) and Rick(Howie's accountant). I kept in touch with Rick for awhile. I just went to the Atlanta concert and Rick gave me a VIP pass. I sat in "the pit". It was really cool. So I got some real good pics (which are posted in the live/concerts section of the fan gallery).

Leighanne was there and she is so nice and Amanda was there too but she wasn't there the whole time. Mandy was there and looks a lot better with brown hair. (She dyed it)

I had a Blast, here is some info about concert:

You said Nick was most likely to get the most screams. Well, I thought that too. Surprisingly Kevin got the most scream! (not was I was expect either, but I'm happy!)

They guys arrived at 4pm but didn't sign autographs

When I got backstage, AJ and Howie were practicing on the stage alone (Howie did all the talking, he was practicing what he was going to say but never said it in the real show)

If you ever go to the dome and have seats above the mid 200's sections, bring binoculars or sneak down to another section, there is no hope for you to see them.

On Feb 19th the Backstreet Boys played to the biggest crowd in their history of their tours.  The Georgia Dome welcome the Boys with a crowd of 70,000 people.  The biggest crowd they have ever played to.  Nick that the crowd for breaking the record and that he had never seen so many people come to their concert.  They played a great concert that lasted for two hours.  The Boys were great in concert and I can't wait until they tour again this fall. It was awesome when they flew on the wires over the crowd. The also were selling Nicks new comic book which I purchased and I dearly love it. If you would like to check this info go to Atlanta Journal Const. ( www.ajc.com) The article was on 20th Feb.  I thought you might like to know this info.

My friend Andrea and I went to the Atlanta concert and had an amazing experience I just have to share.

Like everyone else says, the show's a total blur. It's all so good!! There are tons of "incredible moments" and you think you'll be able to remember the little things or the little looks they give, but it's just impossible. It was my second Millennium concert and this one was SO WONDERFUL!! Huge crowd, good vibe... and we were lucky enough to have floor seats about 20 rows from the stage.

Here are some things we noticed or saw at the "HOTLANTA" show:

They wear different starting outfits than last time. Almost more futuristic and "comic book" like. Each guy was a little different, but they all went together well. AJ wears an eye scope thing over one eye.

The pink suits are gone.In their place are AWESOME gray vests and black pants & jackets with white stripes. Almost tuxedo-ish and very handsome.

The dragon jammies are gone too but if you look closely you notice that there are dragons on a lot of their other outfits. AJ’s pants, Kevin’s shirt, Kevin’s tank top, etc.

AJ has buzzed off all of his hair really short. It's still a very dark brown.

As we were leaving, the table selling CDs and photographs was playing music. What song, you ask? 'N Sync's "Tearin' Up My Heart!" What on EARTH is up with that??

In some song (can’t remember which) Nick was "spanking" one of the dancers and it was very provocative. Oh yeah, and AJ did a really nice pelvic thrust. *sigh*

One of their bus drivers said that Nick dances a lot more "freaky" and "provocative" when Mandah's not around. Based on what we saw, we're guessing she was not there. :o) LOL!

Kevin had the cutest little girl as his fan for the "Perfect Fan" and it was the sweetest thing to see him with her. The front of her shirt said "I like AJ, Brian, Howie and Kevin" and the back was one big "I LOVE NICK!" So cute! I can’t wait until Kevin has one of his own - and obviously, neither can he. By the way, his mom was apparently in the crowd.

You MUST watch AJ while they’re introducing the dancers. He is hilarious. Chicken dancing, mime-ing, etc.

Brian told us that Leighanne’s family (aka his "soon to be family members") were there. Leighanne walked five feet in front of me, but the photo I took was blurred. She walked five feet in front of me leading some VIPs to their seats.

The comic book has a typo on the front cover. The tour book is the same except they have removed the Sears logo and fixed the bad copy on the inside.

Since the concert is such a blur, I'll tell you about our other experiences. Wandering around early in the day trying to find the Dome, we stumbled across their hotel!! We parked the car, walked over and wiggled our way into the group. We saw Mindi, Dennis, Tommy, the drummer and that red headed dancer. Not five minutes later, AJ came out of the hotel and got on the bus. The guys were heading off to a promotional event to publicize the comic book and were running totally late, so we were told no autographs. A few minutes later, Nick and Mandah came out and went on the bus. Waiting, waiting, waiting when suddenly Nick comes out with his bodyguard and signed autographs for five minutes. We were so close! And he looked SO good. We’re not really big Nick fans, but we were darn impressed. Meanwhile Howie and Brian came out and the bus pulled away. Kevin came out a few minutes later, gave a big wave, and got on another bus. They pulled away immediately.

Well, back to the show. The guys leave the stage after "Show Me The Meaning" for their first encore. We move up three rows and avoid getting in trouble by SWEARING to the nice female security guard that we won’t rush the stage. But we were women with a mission: deliver a big inflatable bone to the Bone (we'd written a nice message on it thanking them for the music and sacrifices they make for their fans.) So immediately Andrea snuck past the guard to try and get it to the stage.

The first guard Andrea came to was really cute and she tried using charm to get past, but he didn’t buy it. He said "no way, it might hurt them." Give us a break! It’s an inflatable plastic bone! The next guard turned his back as she came up, so she slinked past. She walked forward and was standing three people deep from the stage. This was right as Howie began rapping.

A guard approached. She said "can I throw this on stage?" and he said no, but that he’d make sure they got it.

Meanwhile, I was hoping that I would have enough bail for Andrea if needed. All of a sudden, however, I look up and there is Bone, playing with the bone. He held it triumphantly and even "played" it like a guitar. He seemed really excited to have it. Right then Andrea walked back up, looking a little forlorn. I grabbed her arm and screamed at her: "HE HAS IT!!" but right then he tossed it down under the pyramid into the understage area. With her back turned, she hadn’t realized he’d both received it and had played with it as we’d hoped originally.

Believe it or not, the cool security girl actually came up and hugged us and told us how neat she thought it was that Bone had actually received the bone.

The boys came up for IWITW, and to our slight disappointment, there was no bone with Bone. But bless Nick’s precious heart, he walked up to AJ during Kevin’s solo and handed the bone to him. He was waving it around and was almost facing our section. So at this point we rushed to the stage (the remove the barriers during IWITW and let you rush the stage) and were standing on chairs in the fourth row. I was holding up another bone and if he had just looked past the brim of his hat, we KNOW he would have seen us.

Now for the CLINCHER:
While singing the very last line, he stops after "Cause I want it-" and said the following: "I’d like to thank the production crew, the staff (blah, blah, blah) and WHOEVER GAVE ME THIS BONE - all of you - thank you and goodnight!" AJ thanked us in front of 70,000 people! How cool is that!?!? The guys then walked to the top of the pyramid thing and AJ began attacking the other guys with it. SO COOL -- JUST LIKE WE’D IMAGINED!

Believe it or not, on Sunday we went back to the Four Seasons to take a picture of it for our scrapbooks. We round the corner and OH MY STARS!! There are the buses! We were surprised that the boys hadn't left yet - after all, they had a six hour drive ahead! Our hearts were fluttering bigtime. Even more so when we realize we look like total CRAP. (Note to self: never say "oh, no one will see me!" THEY ALWAYS DO!! We hadn't showered, no makeup... NADA!)

Quickly we got to work blowing up another bone. We think that he didn't make it off stage with the first one, so we wanted him to have one. We quickly scribble a note to him on it. It pretty much said the same thing, but we added that last night's show was INCREDIBLE. We joined the 20 or so others who had stumbled across the buses and began to wait.

There was an Atlanta police officer telling us that the boys were gone (so why are YOU here then?), yet all their luggage came down and there was Kevin's security guard at the bus. (We heard that Kevin had already left - maybe with his mom?) The buses pulled away and we all went to the back and met them as they pulled into the cargo bays. A few minutes later, and a few scuffles with the cop, who hadn't fooled anybody, down the ramp come AJ, some girl (maybe Amanda Latona but it really didn't look like the pics we've seen of her), Howie, Nick and Mandah.

You could tell that they had been instructed not to do autographs or anything, but AJ looked over at the crowd and saw the bone that Andrea was waving like a flag. He was wearing sunglasses (of course!) but they were light enough to see his eyes. He raised his eyebrows and did this half point/half wave thing and you could totally tell he wanted to come over but he was instructed not to.

I was standing - and I'm not kidding - twelve inches away from the door as the bus was pulling out. AJ was standing next to the driver and if he'd just turned to the door, he would have seen me.

We had such an incredible time!! I know some people get to meet them and talk with them personally but for us this was just perfect.

Now all we need is a great picture of Bone with the bone. If you took one and are willing to share, PLEASE email me: tamitra@hotmail.com. I'll be eternally grateful.

We've posted this story in more detail along with some really great Nick pictures at www.netcolony.com/members/tammy/concertformat.htm . Please stop by and take a look.

Hi, my name is Jennie and I recently attended the Hotlanta show (as called by Howie, my fav) with my best friend Angie. The show was awesome! We saw them back in December in Tampa as well. There were a few differences. They come down from the right side of the ceiling this time (at least they did in Atlanta). There were plenty of costume changes. They now have different 'Larger Than Life' costumes as well as new pinstripe suits instead of the pink (the look a lot better with the new suits). You could tell by the fans reactions that Nick and AJ were the favorites. From where we were sitting, you couldn't see what Kevin, Brian, or Nick was doing; but while the guys were flying, AJ squirted fans with a water bottle and Howie threw teddy bears and roses out to the fans. The 'boys' said that the Atlanta show was the biggest show they've ever performed in America (there were 70,000 plus fans). I just want to say that anybody who has never seen the Backstreet Boys in concert owes it to themselves to see the hottest concert of the 'Millennium'! My favorite moments: Howie on the ladder during 'Don't Want You back,' he got slightly freaky! Seeing Howie as MCD! Watching the guys perform 'Show Me The Meaning,' their voices sounded like and angel chorus.

KTBSPA into the 'Millennium' and beyond!

I attended the concert in Atlanta and have to say it was so exciting. I saw them in Atlanta and Ft. Lauderdale in '99 and those shows do not even compare to the show I saw on February 19. The fans were so pumped. To be at a concert with 70,000 people was breathtaking. The guys thanked the fans numerous times for being there and making this show the largest in the US they have ever done. It was a pleasure for me to be a part of it.

There was one part of the show that bothered me though. When Brian mentioned that he has "soon-to-be-family" in the audience, there was alot of silence in the crowd. Come on people you should be happy for Brian & Leighann. I know I am!!!! CONGRATS Brian & Leighann!!

They did change their costomes a bit. I'm really glad they kept the black leather cuz Kevin looks GREAT in black leather, especially when he hangs upside down in the pole.

After the show, we went to their hotel and got to meet AJ, who is very nice. And the next morning, we went back before they left and saw Nick, Howie and AJ when they left. The highlight was when Kevin arrived with his mom, brother, sis-in-law and nephew. He came over and signed autographs and took pictures for about 15 minutes. He was extremely nice.

In all, that was a great weekend and my 12th row floor seat in Section 103 was outstanding.

Thanks guys for a GREAT show. This one was very special.

KTBSPA!!!!!!

Hi to all the BSB fans!!! My name's Angie, I'm 22, and I went to the Backstreet Boys concert with my best friend Jennie, in HOTLANTA, Georgia (as Howie likes to call it!). It was an AWESOME show!!! Their "Into the Millennium Tour" is truely the HOTTEST concert tour on the planet right now!!! Most of you have already seen this tour, so I won't go into all the details, since it was similar to last years, but I'll tell you what was unique to the Atlanta show! First, it was at the Georgia Dome, where the Super Bowl was at this year, and it was the LARGEST concert ever to come to Atlanta, beating out Michael Jackson!!! (You go, BSB!) AND the guys announced on stage that the crowd of 70,000 fans were the largest group they've performed in front of in America! They were so pumped for this show! After flying out to the stage, they did "Larger Than Life" and got the audience up on their feet and having a blast! (I saw their show last year in Tampa, but it was at the end of their tour and although they put on a good show then, you could tell they were getting tired, but THIS time, they were back from a much deserved break and they were a lot more energetic and really put their all into the show!) At the Atlanta show, the fans screamed when Howie called it "HOTLANTA", AJ said Atlanta's got a lot of beautiful ladies in the audience (I'm sure he says that everywhere!), and Kevin asked how many "Georgia Peaches" were in the audience.

Another thing Kevin announced was that his mom was in the audience from Lexington, KY! It was neat to know he was singing to her during "The Perfect Fan." Also, since the concert was on Feb. 19th, (day before Brian's birthday) several fans had signs that read, "Happy Birthday, Brian" and he thanked the fans for that! My friend and I sat in the floor section about midway, but we had a good view. AJ flew over us during "Quit Playing Games." It was neat to see just how close he was! But they didn't throw bears to the audience this time, however, Howie threw roses. But he had trouble getting the wires unhooked after he flew, maybe because he was doing all those backflips in the air! :) I think AJ and Nick got the most screams from the crowd (don't they everywhere?) but all the boys got their fair share from the fans! Kevin played the piano beautifully (as always) during "Back To Your Heart." And when they sang "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely" I got a chill from listening to their beautiful angelic voices harmonizing and filling the entire arena. WOW! These guys put on a spectacular show with their upbeat dance tunes, but their ballads are just as awe inspiring! They wore different outfits than the last tour but the songs were the same. They ended with "I Want It That Way" as confetti fell over the audience. Like so many other fans, my friend and I tried everything to meet them, but all we managed was to see them leave on their buses after the show. But the concert was a night we'll never forget!!! One of the things I noticed was that there were people there of all ages, adults and kids, all enjoying their music! The guys are awesome entertainers!

Neither Brian nor Kevin said anything about their engagement, but fans knew, and I noticed one girl had a sign that read, "Marry me Brian" but she must have found out, so she wrote on the back something about Nick! I also noticed that after "I'll Never Break Your Heart", Howie usually says, something like "The Backstreet Boys will never break your heart" but he didn't this time. I just want to say that the guys have a right to have personal lives outside of BSB, and they deserve happiness, so fans should be happy if they're happy! Let's continue to support our boys in their music career as they continue to make their fans happy all over the world, through their music and AWESOME stage show!!!! Keep The Backstreet Pride Alive into the New Millennium and Beyond!!!!!

Hey All You Backstreet Fans!!!!!

I went to the Boys concert in Atlanta, Georgia!!!!! It was AWESOME, I was 10 rows from the Stage and Right next to the Box they fly out of!!!! Before the concert started we saw TONs of poeple with Backstage Passes!! Then The Guys Hair dresser came over and was talk'in to these people she new by us!! She was talking about how A.J. got his hair cut 'cause someone said they Really liked his hair, so he wanted to be Different and got it semi/shaved-- it still looks CUTE!! Then after the Hairdresser left Leigh Anne walked ALL her family right in front of us, so when she walked back by we snaped her Picture, she was really Pretty and Normal Looking!!!

Then the opening act came out,The Jungle Brothers, they were Much Better than EYC!!!!! They were only on for about 15 minutes!!! Then the Boys were suppose to come out But they were running late!! So the show didn't start until about 8:35, But it was sooooo worth it!! At the Begining we were right there when they stared to FLY out, and they had on new suits, they Looked like Batman's suit of Armor, they were Cute! A.J. had some weird thing on his eye, like in the video! They did most of the same songs as before!! They are ALL so Cute together, espically there Facial expressions!! After they performed most of the usual songs, sorry I don't remember the order, they changed into the leather outfits, but this time Kev. and Nick had on Silver tank top shirts!!

Then the Guys Flew over Everyone , Bri was over us--him and Kev both caught things and dropped then down for fans!! After a Few more songs they changed into NEW SUITS!!!!!! NO MORE PINK!!!! This time they had on Grayish Silver Vests over white shirts and Grayish Black W/ white pin stripes down them!!!! VERY CUTE!! The Guys also put on the Black outfits with the weird plastic vest things and did the hanging off the Latter Looking thing!!!! VERY cute!! During that part Nick stood on the Drums!!! At the end of the Concert the boys came out in their SUPER CUTE American Eagle Outfits!!! This Part is one of my FAVORITES because they do their own thing while some of the Guys introduce the Dancers!! A.J. and nick do the CUTEIEST Dances!!! WAtch them also Nick and Brian Play with a Basketball, It's sooooo Funny, cause on time nick dropped the Ball down the platform and Brian said "Where's The Ball" and Nick pointed down!! After that They did I Want It That Way!!! And it was Time to Say BYE!! =(

But there's more!!!!! After the concert We wnet Backs to our Hotel and Got my dad and Went to Eat at Planet Hollywood!! So me and my mom went to the Bathroom and when we got back my dad said A.J. just walked in and went up the elevator!! I wa LIKE WHAT No Way !!!!! So we waited to be seated, when we decided to go explore the upstairs when we saw the crowd of about 10 people behind a rope so we waited with everyone else when the waitress said I just got to see A.J.!!! Then a waitress brought his food and Coke!!!! then a little while later they brought his food back out, He Sure Didn't Eat Much!!!!! So Finally, Later A.J. came out and said HI to all the Fans, HE IS SOOOOOO HOT IN PERSON!!!! He had on a white backward hat, a ribed white turtle neck and a cute Jean Jacket!!!!! He and a pretty Girl, not Amanda, a lot younger and Prettier!!!!!! Well A.J. said BYE to everyone and waved RIGHT AT ME because I was the Tallest person!!!!! Also, one of my friends said he saw A.J. and NIck at the Mall in Atlanta!!!!! So if your goning to see the Boys in your town soon Be On the Look OUt!!!!!!!

Everyone Thanks For your Time!!!!!!! KTBSPA!!!!!! =)

LOVE, MEREDITH 0=)

Hello everyone!

This was my second Backstreet Boys concert. I also went to the Birmingham, AL show back in November. My Mom (Bonnie), my friend Miranda and I had an incredible time.

The opening act was a duo called the Jungle Brothers. The music was decent, but nothing spectacular. The audience was more responsive when advertisements for an on-line concert and the Backstreet Project aired on the big screens.

The Star Wars theme filled the Georgia Dome around 8:40. The show is the same as the last leg, with only some minor costume changes. The Boys looked and sounded great!

As most of you know, Nick's hair is shorter and he looks amazing! He also appears to have buffed up a little. Very nice! Up until last Saturday night, Howie was my favorite, but Nick is making it harder for me to choose a favorite!

Here are some of my favorite moments:

-"Back to Your Heart" This performance was intense and the vocals were flawless.

-"The One" I love this song. I love the dance moves. Simply beautiful.

-"Spanish Eyes" Howie and Nick sounded great. They all looked wonderful in their shirts and ties. (The pink suits are gone. I think I am the only person in the world who actually liked the pink suits!)

-"The Perfect Fan" When Kevin was kneeling in front of his Mom/daughter team, he held out his arms and hugged the little girl. It was so sweet.

-AJ ripped his shirt off (literally) and threw it into the audience. What I wouldn't give to be the lucky girl who caught that thing....sigh.

-Howie's "MC D" performance was hilarious. He looked so cute in the little hooded sweatshirt. He danced while he rapped and he got a little wild! I loved it!

Interesting tidbits:

-In his introduction, Kevin said that our show was the largest audience they have ever played for. In fact, Saturday's show was the largest in Atlanta history. I was so proud to be a part of that record-breaking success! Kevin and the other Boys thanked the audience numerous times!

-Brian received loud cheers and screams during his introduction, but when he said hello to his "soon-to-be family" in the audience, the crowd went silent. Miranda and I screamed like crazy, though. I am ashamed in everyone who did not applaud Brian at that moment. Brian is in love and he is obviously very happy. If you all can't understand that, then don't call yourself a "fan."

-Someone tossed a huge inflated bone up on the stage during the show. They beat AJ with it. It was hysterical!

-During QPG, when the Boys fly over the audience, AJ's harness was stuck. He just dangled upside-down over the stage while the other guys flew. After they were all unhooked, AJ then proceeded to run over to Nick and hit him. Don't ask me why...LOL.

-When the Boys came back out for "It's Gotta Be You", people were throwing glowsticks at them before they turned the stage lights on and started singing. Please don't do that. That's so juvenile. Do you WANT one of them to trip and break their neck? Think!

Anyway, the show was great! There really isn't a bad seat in the house. We were in Section 229. I mostly kept my eyes on the big screens. The video is incredible- far better than anything I have ever seen on TV or on a home video. So, don't be upset if you're up in the "nosebleed" sections, you'll still have an awesome time!

In conclusion, my "Millennium" experience was spectacular. In the words of Nick Carter, "Hotlanta really knows how to party!"

Thank you, Nick. You guys aren't so bad yourselves!

Okay first I want to say that BSB puts on the best show that I have ever seen! They started off with "Larger Than Life" while coming out of the smoke on neon boards. They then sang sone more songs, and I'm sorry, but I don't remember which ones. I was too excited. Nick comes out and welcomes us all to the show and not-so-subtly mentions that he cut his hair. Which looks very good by the way. Then all the others proceed and o the normal thank yous. Brian also mentions that he sees a lot of birthday wishes and thanks the crowd. Then they change into black leeather outfits. When they sing "The Perfect Fan" I nearly cried. They each had a little girl and they were so nice to them! They sang some more and changed into penstriped suit outfits for "All I Have To Give" and others. They change again into normal everyday clothes and introduace the dancers and band. Howie does a little rapping for his part. They end the show with "I Want It That Way" and Black and White beach balls fall from the ceiling, except for on two sections. And ofcurse my side was one of them! All in all it was the best night of my life. Aj was goofing off with Brian and they were all hamming it up , keeping us lauging 'til the nd. If anyone who was there reads this ands sees that I am wrong about something, please forgive me, But I was really excited and a lot of things got blurred.

Hi! My name is Nicole and I recently attended the Backstreet Boys' concert in my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. I am very happy to say that according to the Boys themselves, this was the biggest crowd they have ever preformed for. It was at The Georgia Dome, a huge stadium which has been home to the Super Bowl twice. The stadium holds about 70,000 people. Although I have seen the same show before, it was like the first time all over again. There was never a dull moment. There were even little bits that you had missed the first time or little things they added. Many fans showed up decked out in their BSB gear and even cowboy hats (a fashion tip from AJ no doubt!). During "The Perfect Fan" Kevin's girl was at the ripe old age of around 4. She even had a shirt on that said "I LIKE Brian, Kevin, Howie, AJ, and Nick. " Kevin even had her spin around for the audiance to see. He said that it was quote un quote "cute!". All in all, the concert was one I will never forget. I hope every fan out there gets to attend at least one Backstreet concert. As for me I have attended 3 and each are special in their own way and a little different everytime. The Backstreet Boys really are "Larger Than Life".

Last night, I attended the biggest Backstreet Boys sold out show ever. I'm from Atlanta, and they sold out 75,000 seats which was really phenmominal, especially since they were here just 3 months ago, and sold out 20,00 seats in less than 10 minutes. Getting on to the show! At 7:30, the opening act which was called "Jungle Brothers" came out. They were a couple guys who spun records and danced around, they were pretty good, but they left after about 15 minutes which was good because it was beginning to get old.

It was a lloonngg time before the Boys finally came out, an hour and 15 minutes to be exact, which made it then 9:00. You all probabely know what happens yet, the boys fly onto stage with blaring music and then an eruption of fire starts out "Larger Than Life" followed by "Get Down" and 18 other songs.

The whole show was so wonderful! I saw them when they were here in Novemeber too, and it was also great! The Backstreet Boys really give their all at the shows. I recommend all of you to go, because on top of the wonderful feeling they give you of feeling safe and loved when they sing, the show, guys, singing, band, dancers, and crew are all spectacular! Thank you, Backstreet Boys, for the best night of my life!

OK, let me just clear up this whole stuffed animal thing! I went to Wal-Mart and bought this stuffed gorilla the morning of the concert. I kept it to myself until the end of the concert b/c they always get crazy at the end and that's when they will play with the animals. So, they finished "It's Gotta Be You" and then they do their fake leave #2. This is when I decided to throw up my gorilla. So, Kevin grabs this dancer's hand to bow and A.J. is right behind them. So, I throw the gorilla, trying to get it to A.J. but instead it hits Kevin right smack in the face. Unlike Nick or Brian or A.J. who would laugh at the fact, Kevin seemed a little annoyed. I was sooooooooooooooo embarrased. I knelt down and cowared in my seat until he went away. So then it falls on the steps right below Kevin and the security guard, Vic, throws it to another security guard who throws it into the crowd to the left of me. So then during "IWITW" MIchelle's like "OMG Jade look!" and there is Nick with my gorilla. He knew that I threw it earlier b/c he was one of the one's laughing when it hit Kevin. So then he comes near us but sees Brian and continues to torment him with it until the bra thing happened and then he throws the gorilla off of the stage. Man, I bought the thing and someone else got to take it home. That sux!

Some other cool things that happened to me:

- I met Tommy, well briefly and handed him a card and a lei. I was hoping he would wear it but he didn't. He seemed like he was in a hurry.

- Then we met the Jungle Brothers, who were really cool to talk to. They gave us their tape and took a pic with us.

- Then right before the concert Leighanne walks right by us and the security guard stops her to ask for her pass. We were screaming for her sooooooo loud and I know she had to have heard us but she didn't turn around. She also had some cute little girl with her that had dark really curly hair pulled up in a ponytail and was eating a lollipop. I am wondering if it was TC, you know "The diary of a Backstreet girl." I dunno. It wasn't any of their gf's I know that much.

- Then when they were singing LTL Nick knelt down on the platform right in front of us and was singing right to me and Michelle, I was in total bliss!

- Nick flew right over us and I have the greatest pics that look like he is flying through space.

- A.J. poured his water everywhere and I swear that half of it ended up on my head. I was soaked! I think my hair looks a bit shinier now since I was baptised in A.J.'s backwash! HA!

- Dennis was walking off stage and I yelled at him and he waved at me.

- After the concert Michelle got Vic to hook us up and he got us Dennis' guitar pick!

- During BTYH A.J., Howie, Nick and Brian were sitting on the steps right in front of us. Brian looked so sad and didn't even smile so when he looked in our direction I held up my poster which had wedding bells on it and said "Congratulations" and he smiled so big and gave us a thumbs up. So, I guess I have proof from Brian himself now. Man, I think that moment was the best moment of the whole concert and my fave BSB moment ever! But isn't it weird that my fave BSB moment ever is having Brian tell me that he loves another woman? Weird, huh? (Oh, I am also so mad that when Leighanne walked by that I didn't try to look at her ring, I didn't even think about it.)

- So at the end of IWITW I look in front of me and Howie is walking right behind the gate touching hands. I could not get near him since there was one row of seats in front of me, yet I still tried to reach sooooo far. After that, I felt like my dreams had been crushed, my one and only chance to touch the flesh and blood of a BSB and I had missed it. I was also so mad b/c by this time, there were hundreds of girls pushing and shoving us around, which was not fair b/c I worked for my second row seats fair and square. I have worked to get seats that good for almost 3 years now and it finally happened and then these girls from Lord knows where want to come up and take advantage of my chance. I know they love them too but I am still mad.

- So, then I'm sooooooooo pissed and I look up and they are all going crazy again so I look and Kevin is coming from the other direction. I could not pass up this opportunity twice so I decide that if I can't beat 'em, I'll join 'em. So, I leap over the row of seats in front of me and instead of going towards the direction of a huge bunch of like 100 girls I realize that Kevin is going towards the left and there is a huge stretch of railing left wide open. So, in a split secon I have to decide whether to jump through the bunch of girls and try to touch Kevin, while not being able to see him and probably kill myself in the process or venture to the clear area which he may never even reach. Well, I ventured and I accomplished!!!!! That boy looked right at me and I was in heaven! He is finer than I ever thought possible and I cannot imagine anyone that would ever break his heart, it was kind of like a holy experience. After I touched his arm all of the other girls are running towards me and I get squished agains t the gate, but I did not care! Then Michelle is running up to me freaking out b/c she has lost her camera in the mob of girls and I am just ignoring her b/c she has no clue what just happened. Then she sees me gazing at my own hand and she realizes and we both freak out!

Well, that's my story. It was the best day of my life and I think only the Backstreet Boys themselves could top it.

Peace out,

Jade Amber Backstreet

Friday night after the concert in Raleigh I went outside to wait and see if I could meet or at least see the Backstreet Boys. After a long worth-while wait I spotted Leigh Anne, she had let Little Tyke and the new puppy chihuahua (rumored to be named Litty Leigh) out to "do their business". At that time there was about 30 people out there, we asked her to come over to the fence where we were standing, she then picked up the dogs and brought them over for us to pet, she posed for photographs and signed autographs as well. Everyone was really nice to her which was nice to see because I've heard she's had some bad experience's with some people who claim to be fans of the Backstreet Boys. I wish her and Brian the best of luck and a happy future ahead of them.

Later on Kevin came out and signed autographs for us. And then Howie came out and walked by touching everyone's hand. They look even better in person (if that's even possible)!

The concert was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! I will try to give you a play-by-play......

The very beginning starts with the dancers marching onto the stage holding torches. As they line up (and the screams intensify) here comes our boys flying in on their air boards (VERY COOL in person) from the opposite side of the arena from where we were. They are finally lowered onto the stage and stand at attention facing the one side of the audience. All of a sudden, the screen shows Kevin's face close up and he just kinda raises his eyebrow at us! At this point I was hardly believing I was actually there- i screamed at this point! They greeted us in a very awesome way- the boys all lined up, military style, and marched to each corner of the hexagon stageand as they got to each corner, they stood at attention and let that area see them, and then proceeded to the next,so on and so on until they had covered the whole stage. I thought that was extremely thoughtful, as it enabled everyone to get a great view of all of them.

They opened with LTL and totally brought the house down! They sound SOOO INCREDIBLE live! I know I have heard them sing live on TV before, but this is completely different. Their voices were so clear and flawless, even above the screams. At one point, a piano is lowered onto the stage and Kevin begins to play his untitled solo which shortly breaks into "Back To Your Heart". The whole thing was beautiful and I lost it when Brian sings my favorite verse from any song ever ("I don't know how it got so crazy but I'll do anything to set things right. Cause your love is so amazing, baby your the best thing in my life") I got very teary-eyed. You would be surprised how your emotions can sneak up on you! I was continually impressed with their superior vocal abilities and showmanship- every note was so beautiful.

"Perfect Fan" was very sweet when they invited five sets of mother/daughters up and serenaded them. It was very touching and the love Brian and the others have for their moms was tangible. Very beautiful.

Of course they blended new songs with old and managed to sing every song off Millennium. It is hard for me to pick a favorite because it was all amazing. I can't remember which song it was, but during this song they were harnessed and lifted up over us and flew out in five directions very high and far out. Nick was flying over our section and he was so close that I could make out his facial expressions! They were all doing flips and crazy acrobatic stuff, even Brian who I know is afraid of heights! Thay returned to the stage and went back outat least 4 or 5 times- it was really cool.

SMTMOBL was OUTSTANDING live! It honestly gave me chills. i didn't even notice the dancers.

There were 2 encores: The first was "It's Gotta Be You" and the second was IWITW.They were playing around on stage after IWITW. Brian and Nick were playing with some stuffed animal- Nick was slapping Brian in the face with the toy's tail! At the very end, Brian picks up this black thing and looks out and exclaims,"Somebody's not wearing all their clothes!"I then realized it was a bra! it was hilarious! Also, during the band intros, Brian was up on the circular raised part of the stage dribbling a basketball through his legs and shooting fancy passes to Nick. they were really enjoying themselves and it was adorable!

At the end, they said goodbye the same way they said hello- they walked to each corner of the stage, joined hands and bowed so we could all see. It was very classy and made us feel important.

Outstanding show, flawless singing. I am so impressed and thankful that i could be a part of it. It was everything I had expected and more.

Another thing is that they were so genuinely moved and grateful to have all their fans there- they thanked us over and over and it was sincere. You could tell by the way the stage was set up and how they would rotate corners so everyone would have an equal, awesome, and unobstucted view, exactly how thoughtful they are.It was like their way of thanking us and trying to get as close to us as possible. it was truly touching and like I said, made me feel important, not just some nameless face in the crowd. It was THE best show I have ever seen- I loved everything about it.

Thanks, KC, Wilmington, NC

My Experience at The Backstreet Boys' Concert in Raleigh, NC (2-19-00)

Check out my web page for pics from the concert!

Here goes a long story...After the Charlotte concert the next day I was dead all day and made it into school late. After I got home from school around 4:00pm...I got my outfit on and we were in the car driving to Raleigh to see the Boys for the 2nd night in NC! I was very tired from the night before and slept the whole way there until I woke up and we were in the parking lot of the arena. I woke up and got myself together...I had to get my make-up and hair perfect. Then, I loaded the camera with film and grabbed everything and we made out way to the doors. It was freezing cold and I was in a skirt with a light weight jacket. Of course...as usual they weren't letting us in! We waited in the cold for about 15min and then the doors opened! They took our tickets and we made our way in. We were starving so we walked around awhile first and then went to get some food before the show. We had tickets for 9th row on the floor, so we made our way to the floor...We showed the usher our tickets and he led us to our section on the 2nd row! We thought this can't be right and was asked him again...The section's were numbered 8,9,10...so 9th row was really the 2nd row!! I was going crazy and couldn't believe it!! I was in total shock! We ate quickly and then made our way to the bathroom and were there for a while and the "Jungle Brothers" were performing while we were gone...They did the same performance. After we got back it was your typical 45min wait...This time I was finally on the side where the Boys fly out, so they would fly over my head! Yeah! This was my first time on that side.

Well, the Star Wars music began to play and there were THE BACKSTREET BOYS! Nick looked fab! A.J. was on my side, put he never turned his head! I was jumping up and down and going crazy!! I was so close!! A.J. was wearing a cute little white hat!

Well..I think ya know how the concert went it was then.."Get Down", "The One"...etc etc...They did came out and each introduced themselves. Kev was talking about how hot it was in the arena and it was!! Then, Howie came out and spoke about how important Raleigh was to him because it was the last place Caroline saw them perform before she passed away and what a great time she had. It was very touching and we all applauded. I was almost in tears when he was talking about it.Okay let's get to good part! Then, it was time for "Quit Playing Games"! We had Brian over us and Howie next to us! Howie was throwing roses into the audience! It was very sweet! :) A.J. looked adorable in his leopard cowboy hat. Nick and A.J. have been having some breakout problems...they're faces were still covered in pimples...I love them anyway! :) Then, it was time for "Don't Want You Back"..We had Brian infont of us and A.J. right next to us! I was so happy I finally got to be close to A.J. for this part!! Then, the song started and A.J. never even went on the ladder! His ladder was broken or something, so he just had to stand there and sing! Ugghh! He looked sexy just standing there! :)

Then' they did the amazing medley with "Everybody", "We've Got It Going On", etc! They were on our side the whole time!! A.J. was right infont of us!! He looked so cute in his little hat. When it would get quiet I would scream "A.J.!" as loud as I could and he'd look over! It was awesome! I love his little hip thrusts!!

BIG NEWS!! THE OUTFITS HAVE CHANGED!!!! They now come out in black pinned stripped suits to sing "Spanish Eyes","No One Else Comes Close", and "All I have to Give"!! They looks so fabulous! So, much better than those pink things!!! They were awesome outfits!! Then, they sang "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" and the girl dancers were in sexy black dresses...looking so much better than the other outfits they used to have. This time they didn't do the little dance with the dancers...They just left the stage and the Boys each stood on one side of the stage and sang because one of the dancers wasn't there.

Then, it was time for "It's Gotta Be You"! I was the best! They still had the little Abercrombie Outfits on! Looking oh so good! Nick had a army base ball cap on...It was funny. Brian had this neon ball the entire time on stage playing with it. A.J. was sitting on the stage and Nick was bouncing it off his head. Then, I noticed Brian hand A.J. the ball and a marker...A.J. autographed it and then Brian...etc! I was going crazy! I wanted that ball!! Then, as the song came to an end they did their bows on every side of the stage. They came to our side and I got Nick and A.J. to look right at me! Then Brian threw the ball right to our row!! I dived to get it, but a girl sitting 3 seats next to me got it!! AHHHHH!

Then, it was so funny Nick grabbed a stuffed animal threw it at Kevin and it smacked him in the head! A.J. and Nick were so happy about that...The, Kevin turned around and grabbed one and smacked Nick in the head! It was too cute!!

A.J. then grabbed a water bottle and sprayed the audience and threw the water bottle out and then grabbed another one and did same tot he other side! Oh yeah! The confetti flew everywhere and they came out to sing "I Want IT That Way"..Once again all the girls from the top came pushing down tot he stage in my area! Excuse me! It just ticked me off! You have all these people and arms all in your way!!

Anyway...then I decided to throw my gifts on stage which were chocolate roses with the card attached. I got one for A.J. and one fo Nick. I threw A.J. to the stage and it missed the stage and sorta landed by this girl (that was picked to go up during "The Perfect Fan", so they were right on the stage almost) She was very sweet and tried to give it to the Boys as they went running by us and well one of them got it...so I was happy! Then, I took off to the side Nick was running there and I had the same thing for him and threw it to him, but he didn't get it and it landed on the walking area no one can get to except the crew and stuff...some girl climbed over the little gate and grabbed it! I wanted at least some crew guy to get it! So, now some girl has my rose and a card with all my contact info!! Why did she take it?? What was that about?? I'm sure she'll be checking out my page...and I'll just say hey to her and uh..can I have my rose back?? LOL!

Then, after the concert I ran out and I decided to go try to see the Boys leave on the buses, since I didn't even get to try in Charlotte. I ran where the buses were and there was about a group of 35 girls waiting. We waited for about 30min in the freezing cold and then Tommy Smith (from the Band...you should know that)! I was screaming "Tommy!" Tommy!" No one around me knew who Tommy was! True fans? I don't think so! I ran to the side where he was and got to say Hi and snapped some pics! :)

Then, it was about another 20min and most of the fans had left by now...there were about 20 of us left. The crew there was very nice and even set up gates, so we new the Boys were on their way!!! Another 10min...the crew turned ugly as usually! They can never be polite!! Once again yelling at us to leave and that the Boys had left! Yeah right!! They said they left in a limo right after the concert! Um......too bad..they were on their way to Atlanta on the Bus! If they weren't here...Why do you care so much!? I waited as long as I could and they continued to be rude to us and lie, so we were rude back!! Then, here came the cops and the police cars...All right we left then because I didn't feel like bothering with the jerks.

We got into our car and I decided lets wait for the Bus and follow them. That wouln't work because they kicked us out! My Mom and I decided to drive very slow, so there we were leaving Raleigh headed for Greensboro on the highway. We drove very slow about 45mph. We were on the road for about 45min and were taking our time...hoping to run into the Buses! There was hardly anyone on the highway about 3 cars around us. It was pretty late...Then, my Mom goes "Lindsey, there's a bus coming up behind us." I turned around and saw the bus! It was The Boys' Bus and it was huge! It is very dark and tinted, except for 4 windows. We slowed down and it zoomed infont of us and there it was the Boys' bus with FL tags and all! My Mom and I were on a wild chase to follow the Boys! They were going about 90mph and we were going way over the speed limit and trying to keep up! We finally made our way up to the bus and we could see right in the windows!! We saw the TV's on and they were watching some movie with Nicholas Cadge and I saw a foot in the window...No clue whose, but I was then rolling down the window and trying to snap pics from the car. I was trying to keep it cool and act like we weren't fans. No one noticed us and there was no one on the road! Then, the sped up again and it took us another 10min to catch up and we pulled up on the other side of the bus. All the windows were open and I looked and there was some Nick look alike at a table, but it wasn't Nick...I have no clue who it was! My Mom and I were trying to keep cool, but we had to bend our heads down to look up into the bus..Then, at the same moment my Mom and I screamed!! "IT'S KEVIN!!" Kevin was siting right next to the window, but he couldn't really see us. Then, the Nick look a like guy noticed us and shut the blinds!!! Ugggghhh!

We backed off and about 5min later pulled our way up to the other side of the bus and were right next to them as we made a turn! The bus swerved over into our lane almost knocking us out of the way! We had to swerve! Oh yeah! I was like yeah "We were almost killed by the Backstreet Bus!" LOL! They didn't realize we were really fans and it wasn't like we were following them...they just came up on us. Then, we pulled up to the side again and I was checking out what they were watching on TV, but I only saw a shadow of someone's head...Then, I made my way to snap a pic.

We then backed off again and pulled up on the other side...The windows were all open, but that one and we saw a guy from the band! He saw us and that was about it...we pulled back up to the window that was slightly opened with Kevy Kev! We could still see his shoulder! Too bad the Boys were headed to Atlanta or we would have followed them, but we had to turn to head to Greensboro! Why couldn't they have gone to Greensboro first and then Atlanta!? We could have followed them all the way! It truly was amazing and so much fun! How many people can say they played cat and mouse with the BSB bus!??

Last Night Febuary 18, 2000 I attended the Backstreet Boys concert at the Raleigh Entertainment and Sports arena. All I can say is WOW! They really put on a great show. The singing, choragraphy, the fire and pyro. It was amazing. They came flying out of this black box and landed on the stage. then they went aroud the stage which was in the middle of the arena and saluted the audiance. Then they went into "Larger Than Life" Did I forget the smoke? anyways. They flew over the audience during two or three songs. I went to their concert at Walnut Creek in 1998, it was great but this one was even better. I was expecting it to be amazing but it was better no word could describe it. I want to go again so bad. I promised myself I wouldn't scream, but once they came out I couldn't help it.

My Mom had as much fun as I did. This is defantily something for the whole family. This wasn't a concert it was better it was a SHOW. On a scale of 1 to 10 it gets a 100! They really put alot of effort into it. And hopefully this tou r will shut all those Rock band or Lilith Fair loving critics up. I don't think I've ever had as much fun in my life. Trust me the guys deserve the credit. The last song they performed was "I Want It That Way". But my favorite in the whole show was either "It's Gotta Be You" or "Everybody". They performed all their hits off the last album and ALL the songs off Millineum exept of "I Need You Tonight" which I understand because it's a solo. They sang great no lip syncing. and they had a band like always. They really work hard and it shows. They did a fantastic job and they deserve all the credit they can get. They also had great dancers who deserve alot of credit as well.

Thanks,

Stephanie

Sent: Monday, February 21, 2000 7:05 PM   I had been anticipating this show for months, and our boys did NOT disappoint!  You already know most of the songs and the grand "Star Wars" entrance, so I thought I would write about some of the things that were highlights of the evening for me.  Here goes:   - Howie is incredible.  I think he's been training to be a Backstreet Boy his entire life.  He gives everything in the show his ALL - the singing, the dancing, the "flying" over the crowd.  He really loves this.  (And, in case it isn't obvious, I really love him!)   - Kevin is even MORE beautiful in person than I expected.  This was the bigest surprise of the night, since I didn't think that was possible.  He is just beautiful!  And, he is quite the talented pianist!     - Nick's new haircut looks really good.  He looks like a grownup now.  And, yes, that IS a good thing!   - Yes, Brian sounds as good in concert as he does on the CDs.  No, I don't know how he does it, either.   - AJ is something to behold.  Just keep an eye on him when you see them in concert, you never know what he's going to do next.  He told the crowd to "scream obnoxiously for the rest of the show" and we were happy to oblige!   - They performed "That's the Way I Like It," which is one of my all-time favorite BSB songs!   - seeing Howie do the spanish dance with his backup dancer really made my night!  Did I tell you how well that boy dances?!   - Howie's "rap" is really funny.   - The way the guys really play off of each other.  They act like they still like each other, even after all this time together!   - The way the guys goof around - Brian bouncing a basketball off his head, AJ teasingly pulling his shirt up, Nick asking the crowd if they like his new haircut (yes, we do), and Howie doing silly dances during the dancers' introduction.  These guys are really enjoying themselves.    OK, it is obvious by now that Howie is my favorite.  I've got to admit my binoculars were focused on him for most of the concert.  He was incredible, as were ALL of the guys.  The dancing and singing were great.  My seats weren't even that bad.  There was only one thing that REALLY disappointed me about the whole evening and it wasn't even during the guys' performance.  During the warm-up act, there were two guys rev-ving up the crowd.  One of them asked which Backstreet Boy the audience was here to see.  He went through the names of the guys, and each received some cheers (I think Charlotte is kinda partial to Brian), but the first four guys (Kevin, Brian, Nick, and AJ) all gots lots of cheers.  Then, he asked who was there to see Howie and I actually heard some people "boo" Howie!  I thought that was incredibly rude.  As has been said before, there is no Backstreet Boys without Howie.  I can't imagine booing even my LEAST favorite Backstreet Boy!  It takes the five of them to make those incredible harmonies that we love!  And, I believe, it takes all five guys' personalities to hold the whole group together. Not to mention the incredible amount of time, energy, talent, and, yes, LOVE, that goes into each performance.  So, if you were there and were "booing" Howie, perhaps you'd better re-think this whole "fan" label.  You sure weren't acting like one.       You can e-mail me at bnb@boone.net

OK I went to the BSB Charlotte, NC concert. I have to say that for the second go around I loved it. When they came out you couldn't even hear the music all you could hear was screaming. I was on the side were AJ was flying and he got water in my hair. My favorite part was Howie rapping it was so funny. I know a lot of people are gonna hate me for this but I hate Nick's Hair cut!!!!

My Experience with The Backstreet Boys in Charlotte, NC (2-17-00)

Check out my web page for pics from the concert.

I was very excited to get to see the Boys again! I knew we had awesome seats! We had 5th row on the floor! I left school early and got ready for the concert and we drove from Greensboro to Charlotte. We arrived in Charlotte around 4:30pm and we headed over to a restaurant near the coliseum to grab a bite to eat. We stayed there for a while and the place was full off fellow Backstreet Fans! After that we drove over to the coliseum to park and head to the show! I didn't feel like having to wait in the cold outside, so we stayed in the car until they opened the doors. I was in the car talking to my friend on the cell phone. There was a helicopter circling the place for footage for the news. We got our stuff together and made our way to the coliseum. We walked around for a bit and I checked out the merchandise to see if there was anything new...nothing but a new tour shirt...so I went on my way, but I did stop and buy a blue glow stick. We got some drinks and then went to find our seats. Then, I ran into 2 of my friends that I've known since way back in the day, but haven't seen them in a while. We chatted for about 15min and then we went to sit down! I was going crazy when we took our seats on the 5th row!! We were on the opposite side of where the Boys fly out. I was so excited because I knew we were on A.J.'s side! This is where he flys out and stuff. Of course a lot of waiting....It was cool though because the section I was in on the floor...was all A.J. fans! I then called my friend from inside and was ecstatic about my seats!

After waiting for a while the opening act came out.."The Jungle Brothers"! They were very entertaining and sang some Backstreet Rap! They were cool and one of them looked like he'd be a perfect friend for A.J.! :)More waiting....

Well, the Star Wars music began to play and there were THE BACKSTREET BOYS! We couldn't see them until they made their way over, but the excitement was incredible!! I was going crazy of course!! Nick looked fab! His hair looks so wonderful!! I love it! I think him and Aaron look so much a like now! Nick was so adorable! I love it! A.J. looked great and I loved his hair it is just how I like it!! He looked adorable!! Nick and A.J. were having break out problems...the Boys were covered in pimples, especially A.J. Poor sweetie! I love ya! The Boys made their way to our side and when they stand there and look so serious! Well, A.J. was staring directly at me! I was jumping up and down and waving and blowing kisses to him and he smiled at me! Ahhhh! It was incredible!

Well..I think ya know how the concert went it was then.."Get Down", "The One"...etc etc...A.J. was so cute doing his butt shake infonet of us!! Go Baby Go! Then, they came out to talk to us and Nick mentioned his hair and asked if we liked it...Of course we all loved it!! :) Nick was right infont of me the entire time talking!! I couldn't believe how close we were. I was screamig to Nick and I got his attention to look at me! Okay let's get to good part! Then, it was time for "Quit Playing Games"! A.J. made his way to our side and was sitting on the side of the stage right infont of me! He was so adorable! He grabbed a water bottle and then was hoisted up into the air! He was so cute and was flipping around. He then un did the top to the water bottle and sprayed us and I got soaked! It was wonderful!! He was flying over and waving to us. Then, it was time for "Don't Want You Back"... We had Howie on our side! He was so cute and was doing all his little tricks on the ladder!

"Back to Your Heart" was great because they were on our side the whole time! I just think Kev is so cute when he's up there playing the piano! :)

Then' they did the amazing medley with "Everybody", "We've Got It Going On", etc! They weren't on our side at all for the whole song! But at the end A.J. made his way over to our side and had ripped his shirt off and then he went up to do his little kick that he does! He looked amazing, but he messed up when he went to do his kick and almost fell. Thank God he didn't hurt himself.

They now come out in the pink suits to sing "Spanish Eyes","No One Else Comes Close", and "All I have to Give"!! Then, they sang "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" and the girl dancers were in red dresses. Towards the end of the song they started to walk back up on the platform to make their way back up to the top. It is very steep. A.J. was walking up and tripped or fell. Which had to hurt on that steep slick platform. He had to grab it with his hand to get back up. My poor baby.

Then, it was time for "It's Gotta Be You"! I was the best! They had the new little Abercrombie Outfits on! Looking oh so good! The dancers had some cool outfits on too!! Nick has a little foot ball type jersey shirt on, A.J. has a little yellow tank top and black pants with a dragon on them, Kev has on an orange tank top and green army pants, Brian has a blue and white shirt...which he looks very cute in, and Howie had on black pants and his black hooded sweatshirt with a dragon on it. Brian had a basket ball and was playing around with it and they introduced the band and dancers of course!

A.J. then grabbed a water bottle and sprayed the audience and threw the water bottle out and it got close to me, but no luck! The confetti flew everywhere and they came out to sing "I Want It That Way". All the girls from the top came pushing down to the stage in my area! Excuse me! It just ticked me off! You have all these people and arms all in your way!! You can hardly see the Boys!! Then, the show was over and the boys were gone. We made our exit out of the collision and it was freezing and pouring down rain outside, so I decided not to bother to go try to see the Boys make their exit...I wasn't waiting in the cold rain! I had to get up for school the next day! We got into the car and we were in the parking lot for 2hrs trying to get out!! Then, we had to drive all the way to Greensboro! It was a long night and we got home very late and I deiced to sleep in. :) It was incredible and I couldn't wait until Friday night!!

Hey!

Here is my review for the Backstreet Boys concert in Raleigh, North Carolina on 2-18-00.

After waiting for 56 LONG days, me and my friend, Cherry, finally saw a Backstreet Boys concert. I won't bore you with the long boring details like the car ride up or anything, but it was in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Well as soon as we walked in the doors, craziness. We stood in line for about 30 minutes, moving at about an inch every 10 minutes just to buy $30 t-shirts. Finally, we bought our t-shirts, and ran to our seats. The lights had dimmed and we thought the boys were coming out.

Let me just say, that our seats were the best. We could practically touch the boys. But I'm saving the best for later. Anyway, two rappers came on, I forget who they were, all I know is that I was ready for BSB.

Then at 8:17 PM, the lights dimmed again. And out flew the Backstreet Boys, and screams erupted from the crowd. They landed on stage, and sang 'Larger Than Life'. It was awesome. Then, they got strapped to their harnesses, and flew over the crowd. Kevin flew RIGHT over us. He had a teddy bear with him, and he did a flip, looked at Cherry and me, and threw the teddy bear to us. We caught it. Hysteria. I swear I 've never screamed like I did when Kevin threw that bear at us.

Nick was great on stage. He was a pelvic thrusting, butt shaking machine. He cut his hair, and if possible, looks even better than before. Him and Brian were running around the stage the whole time, tossing a ball around, and being crazy. The fans loved it.

Each boy gave a little thank you speech, and Howie's was especially heart warming when he talked about his sister, because the last show she ever saw was in Raleigh, and that touched him deeply. It was very emotional.

Anyway, the sang all their songs, old favorites like 'As Long As You Love Me', and 'Quit Playing Games'. After they sung 'Everybody', they said good night. But it wasn't over yet.

Not a minute later the opening notes to 'It's Gotta Be You' blasted out of the speakers. It was unbelieveable. For five minutes, all I heard was the dull buzz in my ears from the screams. It was great.

They ended with 'I Want It That Way'. They changed outifts different times, with black suits, white suits, and just regular old clothes, like jerseys and jeans.

The fans were great. There were a whole bunch of 'Congrats Brian and Kevin' and 'happy Birthday B-Rok' signs. It was fan apprication taken to whole new level. No one got out of hand, or anything like that.

I just wanna end this with, when the Backstreet Boys come back for their fall tour, you can expect me front row center, because me and Cherry will be 'coming back again'.

Let me first begin by saying that his was my very first bsb concert. and what can i say? wow!!!!!!!!!! my mom, sister, and i got to the Charlotte Colesium around 6pm. we got in and sat down. there was an opening act but hey were ok and i nver heard of them. around 8:30pm, the lights went out and the star wars music started playing. then here comes the boys on their "surfboards". when they got off Larger Than Life started playing. the last concert i went to was the spice girls (remember them?). That was an outside concert. what can i say? it was LOUD!!!!!!!!Everyone by now knows what songs they play so i wont go over that. let me just give some tips:

1) BRING LOTS OF MONEY. EXPECT TO PAY $20 FOR SOVENIER BOOK, AT LEAST $25 FOR A TSHIRT, SOME ARE MORE, $10 FOR POSTERS, AND ABOUT $5 FOR PHOTOS,. I DIDNT EVEN GO TO GET FOOD.

2) BRING BINOCULARS. AT CHARLOTTE, THERE WERE RENTALS FOR $5 AND YOU CAN BUY THEM FOR $10 BUT THEY WERE SMALL.

3) ENJOY EVERY BIT OF THE CONCERT.

From this concert i learned that people who say they cant sing, are stupid. they are singers and they can sing. i cannot wait until they come back to charlotte so i can see a one of a kind show.
