When I heard that "The Call" was BSB's next video, I couldn't wait. I watched MTV all day, waiting for the premiere. Finally, they showed it. The video was the coolest thing I've seen! I absolutely love the morphing effects and the whole idea of the video. The lyrics are really cool, too. This video is one of the best and I hope it stays #1 forever!

Firstly, I'm not a BSB fan BUT I watched the video of their new single, The Call and I loved it! It sort of reminds me of Goo Goo Dolls' "Dizzy" which is another video I really like. Anyway, kudos on the boys for their acting and it's great to see Francis Lawrence (the director) making fast track videos. Favourite bit: The room with the words "LIAR!" "SCUMBAG!' where Kevin enters (sort of reminds of the Blair Witch Project in a weird way and there was some Matrix references in the video, too) and then, the boys have to confront the girl and the crowd. A bit eerie. Anyways, that's it! Best Wishes peeps, Ms Jinx

Well, well, well. What can a person say but this: What a bloody excellent freaking fantastic video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The guys really did it this time. The special effects where like sooo cool and the way they acted instead of singing that was brilliant, little people have done that and it sets this video apart from all the norms. Their acting was brilliant all in all. Now for my step by step recount of the video.
First it was A.J. His part was okay but not all that good the club really represented him well since he is such a party animal and the girl was stunning to say the least.When they were in the cab and then when he was running through the tunnel was really good cause it showed urgency and kind of cluelessness when he couldn't find her almost as if he didn't know what he was actually letting himself into.
Then it showed the billboard which I thought was an absolutely excellent effect!!!!! Whoever thought of that is a genius.
Then we have Brian looking all clueless as he stares at the billboard and then these funny looks like rubber balls starts flying at him, it kinda looks like they're coming out of the billboard (Nics touch, great effects). Then he goes into the supermarket and the place is like deserted, but he knows there was someone there only a few minutes ago cause one of the trolleys are still moving (very dark and mysterious touch).
Next is where Brian changes into Nick at the car (Might I add that I have never seen Nick look so gorgeous as what he did in that car scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made my heart stop Mr. Carter) Then he gets to Howie and he likes tries to explain something about being followed or some shit like that. He then washes his face, (excellent touch shows that he's trying to wash off the guilt of cheating) I was amazed at Nicks acting talents truely he did the best in this video (and I'm not just saying that cause I fancy him I mean it).
The two of them in the car was great and the looks that "Howie" gave Nick was also an excellent touch. When the car crashes and Kevin gets out it's a very smooth transistion between two menbers of the band that look nothing alike.
Kevin tries to pull off the Matrix which he did pretty well but to tell the thruth it was kinda trite. I loved the room that he found himself in that was just so great!!! I would also do that if the guy cheated on me true feelings displayed there.
The ending was okay but not the greatest. It could have been better.
All in all it was an excellent video and I congradulate the Boys on really showing major maturity and a hell of a lot of style and class in this video. The best one ever!

Hey all u Backstreet fans out there!!
Well what can I say? Awesome video as usual! I love this vid! It's wicked! Sorta The Matrix meets Mission Impossible! LOL The guys all looked great! They've matured so much since...let's say The Get Down video! WOW...They really are Backstreet Men! But they will always be my Backstreet BOYS! he he I'd have to say my fave part was when Howie jumps out of the car and rips off the mask to reveal the mysterious chick! How mischievious! And Howie plays it so well! I loved all the outfits, even the girl's! It was so futuristic. And I love the end, when the girlfriend is standing there with all the people behind her with that smirk on her face! PRICELESS and u have to admit....they deserve it! If my boyfriend cheated on me I'd kill him!
But anyway, I think THE CALL is the best video so far and I can't wait to see the guys on their B&B world tour!

"The Call" is definitely an awesome video! I too have rewound my tape and watched numerous times, only to discover new things! My favorite part, that took me a few times to get (seeing as how I payed more attention to Nick and missed it the first few times =) oops!) is when Nick is walking out of the hotel with Howie and then you see the Bar in the hotel and someone walking away....and who should it be, but the real Howie! It's great!
I think that we should make a huge effort to vote for this video everyday on TRL! Since "Shape of My Heart" was able to pull out 61 of 65 days at number 1......I say that this video deserves an even better run!!!!!

i think the video gave aglimpse of the old bsb- slick videos!, not that the recent ones were sloppy....its that l8ly, the bsb videos are more into the symbolic type-nothing wrong with that! its a lot better though than larger than life! that is with regards to their pop-rock vids... all in all i lile this a lot more.. hope the guys decide to come even for just a nite here in manila...and hope ur robust album sales in us continue! i miss u guys! god bless! p.s. pls help our country! many of us dont like our "constitutional" president! a phd in economics and being bil clinton's classmate does not make u a good president! right? neways, keep on going guys !

OMG!!! I must say that Backstreet Boys new video, The Call is one of their very best video that they have ever done.
Of course all of their videos from We've Got It Goin' On to The Call are all excellent. Every time that they make a video,
it keeps getting better and better. This video is very different from the boys. I mean this is the first time they did an
action packed video. Major props to the boys and their director. The guys are amazing actors too!!! Every part of the song blends so
well with the scenes from the video. I love every part of the video. I can't wait to see them in concert, in like 5 days (Feb.15,2001)!!!
BSB RULES!!! Well I can't wait to see you guys in concert and your idea for the next video.

First, BsB did a wonderful job on B&B. I say this not because I'm a huge fan, but I was honestly impressed. "The Call" is one heck of a song. The beat makes you want to get up and dance and when I saw the World Premire on MTV I was surprised in a good and bad way. My first impression of the video was not very good I have to admitt. I expected there to be dancing and singing like the rest of their videos, but I didn't quite see that. It really kinda bored me. I'm being very honest. When the video debuted on TRL I watched it and for some reason I seemed to really like it! I don't know why, but something just made me feel that that was one of their best. I think one of the best videos is "The One" but no video will ever top "Larger Than Life" or "I Want It That Way". If you have any opinions feel 100% free to email, I would like to hear your thoughts on the CD & video... Thank You =)~

I think this video was fine, maybe their most creative one but not their best. They all look a lot different, some (Nick) better and some (KEVIN---cut your HAIR!) worse. My favorite part was when i saw someone with long, beautiful straight hair from the back and thought it was the girl. Oops, my bad, it was howie. anyway...
They could have gone with the obvious, guy in a club, girlfriend worried and upset at home, so i think the running from the Love Interest was great. It takes you a while to figure it out- but when you do, its pretty cool. Although "scumbag, fraud" (ooh, them are fightin' words!) on the ceiling just shows that they arent going to break the whitebread mold (thank god. i liked them the way they were) I guess i liked it, definitely better than shape of my heart. They still got it!

I absolutely love 'The Call'. All I have to say is, our boys are back!!! I mean each guy looked so good in the video. I have been a fan for along time and I must say that this is their best video yet.
AJ. God knows I love him to death and he did a sexy job in the video. He looked so good and I was loving how he and the girl were making out in the taxi.
Brian- All I know is that marriage was good for him, cause he looks great. His outfit was different for the things he normally wears but he still looks good!
Kevin- He is looking more and more sexy everyday! His style in the video is phenomenal and all the moves especially the Matrix move was tight.
Nick- He looks good,now I know why all the girls love him, cause he looked really good.his hair style was cute,but i hear it was cute now.
Howie- All I know is that Howie is SEXY!!!
I love them and I can't wait to see them at the Georgia Dome!!!
