Well, I bought chapter 1 the very first day it was released! I couldn't help it. The thought of a new bsb album was so good. Chapter 1 is great! I can't stop listening to it basically cause it's all their best songs on the one cd I don't have to keep changing cds. And the booklet thing is great to. Well, in the australian copy its got all these photos of when they were really young like nick was 14! He looks so cute and it has photos of each of the boys, when they were younger to now. Its so cool.
And drowning! Omg! It is the best song! I love it! I think its gonna be a huge hit! Congrats bsb on chapter 1 and can't wait till the new album next year! You guys rock and I admire yall for your determination, courage, love and commitment. You've been through a lot and have gotten through it all. Love ya lots!

It is so awesome. The sound rocks and "Drowning" is probably one of the best songs they've released. I've asked a few people who aren't BSB fans what they think of "Drowning", before they knew who it was by and they said it was a prety good song. I definitely recommend you buy The Hits- Chapter One. It rocks!

I got the DVD version of The Hits and I must say it is the coolest DVD of BSB I have. With all their videos seperated into their respective CD's, you chose what album you want, then what video you want to see from that album. Very awesome. Its a must have for all the BSB fans.

I really enjoyed this CD, although not as much as I would have if it had been all new... but oh well, the fellas are busy and they needed a break! It's cool to have all the singles in one place, and it's kinda cool going straight from INBYH to The Call! And I love the jacket, with all the old pics and the single covers! It's great. And Drowning.... I LOVE that song! They all sound so good (AJ especially)! It's so great and is going to be there number 1 hit!!

Drowning is a great track and the video is great and has been sjowed quite alot on MTV selct!It was also shown on the box because it is Bcakstreetboys week this week. Sales are going well and aparrently Chapter one is at number 5 but that may have chinged since yesterday!
I suggest you buy this if you haven't already its a great bundle of bsb music so its all good and also in the cover book includes some memroble pictures.

I thought that Chapter 1 is not the end of the Backstreet Boys, but only the beginning. I mean, look at ALL that they've gone through, phony pop wannabe-boybands (i.e. nsync and otown), harsh critics, girlfriend problems, marrital problems, and rehab. They've survived through all that, what couldn't they survive??? Chapter 1 is a well representation of what they've achieved in life so far, and what they are gonna achieve

The only thing I have to say about Chapter One is "Ohmigod." It has to be the best greatest hit cd anybody has ever done, well the best I've ever heard anyway. I stayed up all last night listening to it, especially "Drowing." I can never get tired of that song, no matter how many times I listen to it. It's still fresh. I really suggest you go cop this cd (that's pick up to all the white people, just thought I'd tell you, but don't be offended, it ain't nothin' but love to all of you) I swear if you like all the songs these guys released and you love "Drowning." you should go pick this cd up, and be on the look-out for The Hits-Chapter One the video. Yeah video, but don't worry all you techies, there's the DVD too, I know I'm gonna pick up both and if your a true fan, you'll buy at least one or the other too. Let's get them BACK on top where they deserve to be. KTBPA;)

First off, Chaper One is great! It's hard to believe that they have been around for so long yet the time seems so little. Everytime I hear their songs it feels like I'm hearing them for the first time. I love the Backstreet Boys and their music so much. Drowning is a masterpiece. The lyrics of the song overwhelm me. The message the song contains is so deep but beatiful. The thought that love that deep can actually exist for some people. It's just so sweet. The first time I heard this song it made me very emotional. Ilove the song and the Backstreet Boys. I hope they will continue to make such beautiful music.

I actually bought the CD the first day. Even though I'm already sick of some of their songs (especially Get Down and We've Got It Going On), I bought it anyways, cause hello...BACKSTREET BOYS ALBUM?? Hehehe...anyways, I don't really know how I could review this since most of the songs have already been released on their previous albums and there are no new materials except Drowning. Drowning, by the way, is an incredibly good song and I have a feeling that this one's gonna be a hit. The lyrics seem kind of cliche...I was hoping that they'd kinda ressemble like the ones from Show Me The Meaning. I mean, how often do we hear, "I can't imagine life without your love"? I think they should put more "depth" in their songs if they want to make that appeal to the older crowd, but if Lonestar's "Amazed" became a huge hit, then there's no doubt in my mind that Backstreet Boy's "Drowning" doesn't stand a chance either. The vocals are so strong, in fact even comparable to the ones in "Shape of My Heart"...Besides from supporting the band, I would recommend buying this album just because of that one particular song. Trust me, it's totally worth it.
Gosh, I can't wait until they release their new album. After hearing that the Backstreet Boys are going organic...oooh...! I heard a part of AJ's song, "Happy", and if we're gonna be hearing songs like that...shiet maan...Don't wanna this jinx this, but this might even beat the Millennium album.

I got Greatest Hits Chapter 1 the day it came out! They picked really great songs to put on there! It made me feel like I was at the concert! Drowning is good!
