Backstreet Boys Chapter 1 - Just the Beginning!!!

Well What Can I say...Backstreet's Back!!!! That what I said when I popped the new BSB cd in my player!! The songs are great(of course and they are still rockin) Here's what you here on the new cd: I want it that way, Everybody, As Long as you love me, Show me the meaning of being lonely, Quit Playing Games, We've Got it Goin on, All I have to give, Larger than life, I'll Never break your heart, Get down, The Call, Shape of my heart, More than That, and the new single Drowning! A bonus to this cd is the new cd Drowning and the remixed version of the hit single Everybody! This cd shows the boys are still going strong after all these years!

OK hopefully the BACKSTREET BOYZ well somehow get this message cuz they gotta hear this.....DUDES U guys are way BETTER THEN MICHAEL JACKSON, DMX, AND ENRIQUE....You guys should have debuted first on those charts(just the stupid radio stations never play ur song, even though its always most requested)....Now I know its just a Hits album, but still....YOU GUYS ARE THE BACKSTREET BOYZ....guys I've said this once and I'll say it again....YOu gotta get ur young fans Lovin u again....Just give them one more BUBBLEGUm pop song that everyone in the world would know..just like "EVERYBODY" and "I WANT IT THAT WAY". GIVE THOSE FANS ANOTHER VIDEO WERE U GUYS SHOW OFF THE DANCE MOVES....I just saw ur homecoming in orlando tape that u guys did in 1999, and u guys were totally different....that show ROCKED U GUYS WERE UNBELIEVABLE....the coolest part was when u all sang ur solo songs....and another great part was the ENERGY....Don't let these other imatating boy bands get to u, YOU GUYS MADE NSYNC, O TOWN, AND LFO....I Saw those dance moves in songs like "GET DOWN" "WE've GOT IT GOIN ON" and "EVERYBODY". I saw A.J flirting heavily with the crowd during "HEY MR. D.J"
THEsE NEW FANS NEED TO SEE THAT AGAIN when i saw that tape i was like darn I didn't know the boyz were like that at one time(u dance way betta then NSYnc, it's not even funny.)But the fans now a days don't get to see that........We need the BACKSTREET BOYS BACK, just one more time....even Big KEV was having fun...this isn't gonna be called chapter 2.....ITS MORE LIKE ROUND 2...IT's time for You guys to be ON TOP ONE MORE TIME...Just show off that FUN and show off the LOVE and the ENERGy...I know u guys can do better then selling 197,000 albums in ur debut week even if it's just a single...COME ON I KNOW THERES FANS OUT THERE THAT FEEL THE SAME WAY....I JUST WANT U GUYS TO BE ON TOP AGAIN SHOW OFF UR ENERGY AND LOVE...to stuff it in those critics faces....THEY Say ur not gonna last ur fading out....THATS B.S cuz u guys are ready for round 2....and this year at the VMA's ur gonna be the guys winning all the awards...Ur on the verge of becoming the Biggest BAnd of all time...Don't let it end now...SHOW THE MUSIC INDUSTRY THAT UR NOT ONLY THE BEST BOY BAND......BUT THE BEST BAND OVERALL.....I sure hope u guys read this or at least one of u...A.J flirt with that crowd again bro..WATCH UR 99 orlando homecoming tape that came out b4 millennium...THOSE WERE DA BOYZ....B TO THE S TO THE Boyz 4 eva...LATERZ

Well first off, I've been a BSB fan since I was 11 years old and now I'm 18. That's 7 years of Backstreet mania and these guys know how to deliver great ballads and good dance songs. My cousin introduced me to them. She lives in Spain and ya'll know that BSB were first famous in Europe so she's a big BSB fan. She still is and she's now 23. That was the year of 1994-1995 that I first listened to them. O.K. I know enough about me. Well I'm tired of people saying that BSB have released a greatest hits when they've been out for 5 years. What the heck? I guess that's just the U.S. but the true BSB fans and the world know how long they've been out. Now, this album shows the essence of Backstreet. It also shows that this group will continue on making great music for their fans and for everyone even though some people just don't listen to them. Well BSB will have a place in all our hearts as in the fans. What else can I say about the album? BSB is the best.
I'm in a way disappointed that it was #4 on the Billboard Charts whereas it could've been #2 or #3. See it shows that the world knows BSB pretty well since they debuted #1 in Canada. Probably in some other countries too but not in the U.S. and we know why too, M.J. It's not like BSB were going to be #1 but at least #2 would've sounded a bit better.
I do hope that in the future, BSB could go over the edge and make some rock music. I'd like to see BSB rocking out. No wonder I love Larger than life, lol. But BSB are the coolest. BSB=Legends.

Chapter 1: The Hits, by the Backstreet Boys is a great CD complete with wonderful song!!! I share this opinion with many fans, it appears,...then why didn't the Boys debut at #1 on the Billboard Chart? Come on guys, they sold 197,000 records??? You've got to be kidding me!!! To them that's like selling 10 CD's, after comparing it to the sales of Black & Blue, and Millennium. I just don't understand what happened. Personally, I was expecting them to sell at least 1 million CD's (which is still to low for them), but less than 200,000? Where are the fans? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, go BUY the CD...it's a really amazing compilation, especially the song "Drowning."

Im my opinion Chapter 1 is the first stepping stone for the boys. People really dont realize how long bsb have been around and that they have had so many hits. I think chapter 1 was a great idea I bought it the day it came out. and i cant wait for more chapters from the one and only backstreet boys. Ktbspa!

I think that Chapiter 1 is excelllent. The way that they presente de the album was wonderful but The One is not on the album. Well I love all the song. I love the new song drowning.

I like what Terri said in a previous entry. The Boys truly are unique. They WILL be legends in the future. They bring so much joy and comfort and emotion to their fans. I love the BSB and have been a fan for four years. They have grown so much over the years. Although always talented, they now are more sophisticated and polished; yet, they can still be playful and fun-loving. The bottom line, though, is the music. These five young men can sing! Chapter I captures their journey from newcomers to the "legends" they will become. Just as everyone knows about and/or remembers Elvis or the Beatles or the Beachboys, the world will long-remember the Backstreet Boys. Drowning is great because on one cd a fan can enjoy all of her/his favorite songs. The culmination of the album is "Drowning" -- what a magnificent song! The Boys' work on that song is incredible! This song should be #1 all over the country, but will the prejudices of some of the public work against our Boys? I don't know. But I do know that to fans "Drowning" is a thrilling, beautiful song.
God bless the Backstreet Boys for many years of beautiful music. I hope the future will bring them much happiness.

What else can be said, the guys deliver the goods. Chapter 1 is a reflection of five guys that are so talented and down to earth. I have followed the BSB since 1997 and they do nothing but get better and better. The new single "Drowning" is wonderful and truly shows the guys talents. There is no other group that has the harmony of these guys. They will continue to break hearts and boundries in music. To whom ever thinks these guys don't have what it takes to become legends then you have no soul. My hat goes off to the BSB, they have shown true strength in their career and also their personal lives. They never set out to be role models for young people, but each of them have given so much to people and music. They have faced life as a group and taken on challenges that most musicians couldn't have weathered, but they rose above adversity and shown great strength. They have been true to their fans and themselves not many musicans can say that. May God be with them always, they deserve whatever the reveive in life. They are legends to their fans and will always hold a special place in their fans hearts. Hugs and Kisses to the Boys!!!!

I love the BSB's new album "The Hits Chapter One." I got it at midnight the day it came out. I couldn't wait to listen to their new single "Drowning" on CD. Of course I already had the song on tape that I recorded off the radio. And on the view I recorded them singing it, I was in the front row at their concert in the Palace of Auburn Hills, so I heard this song quite a few times, but I just had to get the CD. The new song brings chills up my spine. Their sweet harmonies are the best. They are much better than they're rivals 'Nsync. I hope this album reaches the top of the charts. KTBSPA!!!!!!!

I love Chapter 1! Not only is it a great closing to their first chapter, but it is such a great opening to their 2nd and 3rd.. and so on..! They picked GREAT songs to be included on the album, and the pictures and captunes inside the cd were awesome. It takes you back to when the guys first started out, and then to where they are now! It makes you think about their success and their lives as a whole and individually. I loooooove it! And, I looooove Drowning! I love the guys, and I cant wait till their new album because I KNOW it will be just as great as the ones before!!!!
