Hi everyone Grace I really agree with you and your comment about the Boys.I mean they have been here for so long and now some stupid bubble gum wack group like Nstick comes along and everyone thinks that they're better.HOLD UP the thing that really hurt my feelings was the title i mean they're not lost ,like i said before magazines always come out with some stupid rumor before an album comes out.But to all you stupid fans who come here and Diss BSB we could give a shit how great you think Nstink is THEY SUCK.And if you really loved Nstink so much you wouldn't be here and if BSB suck so bad then you shouldn't come here trashing them you'd find something better to do.Obviously you like them to since your in here so much I hate Nsync and you will never find me at and nstink site ever so u must like BSB as much as we do.

All the artists who have been together for decades have stories to tell. Nsync doesn't have any stories to tell cuz the music industry wipes their asses for them.

BSB have been thru everything. It just makes them better. Where Nsync/Otown can only write songs about love, BSB can write about just about anything. Cuz they've been thru just about everything.

MTV has had 'Icon:Janet Jackson' and 'Icon:Aerosmith' Everything happening right now will be a 2 minute segment in 'Icon:Backstreet Boys.' You know how people say it'll get worse before it gets better. This is the worse, so it only gets better from here.

Aside from what the article says, look at what it's done. BSB fans have come back together. This is a good thing. Our pride and support has tripled. Howie said this next BSB album will establish The Backstreet Boys for the rest of their career. So you know it's gonna be good.

The Backstreet Boys are amazing. It's a damn shame how the industry keeps trying to screw them over when soooooooooooo many PEOPLE STILL LOVE THEM!!!!
Before I read this article I saw on Access Hollywood that the Backstreet Boys' ticket prices were lower than N'SYNC's and still made more money in ticket sales for the Black and Blue tour vs. the No strings Attached Tour. AND N'SYNC put their tickets on sale A WEEK before the the Backstreet Boys did.
NOW, how is this possible when reportedly N'SYNC sold more in first week sales than The Backstreet Boys did? People knew Brian and Kevin were married before Black and Blue was released.
JIVE KNEW THIS! THE FIRM KNEW THIS! WHY ARE THEY PLAYING GAMES?
The testaments on this page and the "What's the name of the new album?" page where people just want more music from them should be enough proof that THEY ARE NOT FADING!
Somebody has it in for them. I think if we ever want to have more and more great albums from all five of the Backstreet Boys, FANS NEED TO SERIOUSLY START SPEAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a Backstreet Boys fan for a LONG time. But recently, they haven't come out with anything, so there is nothing for me to hold on to. I'm not saying that they should be on TV promoting stuff. I think they need time off b/c they are human beings just like the rest of us. But they could of had a song out or something. I'm 18 now so I'm growing up. I used to have pictures of them all over my walls, but I took them all down. It doesn't mean I don't like them anymore, it's just that you need to grow up sometime. (Come on, a high school graduate with pics from magazines all over their walls, get real) I think that their people are making bad moves. When they came out with "Drowning" I thought it was a stupid move. Don't get me wrong, I love the song, but I think it was too soon. They still had a lot of songs from Black & Blue that they could have released. If they would have waited, B & B songs could be playing on the radio right now instead of nothing. That is why everyone thinks they are lost. Their peeps are just money-hungry. Greed isn't the way to go. Money isn't everything. They should think about what is good for the group, not what is good for their wallet. I think that Jive supports *N Sync more than they do Backstreet. That's stupid. *N Sync isn't all that. Backstreet has always been way better. (not to mention they look better too:) And the stupid guy said that them getting married made a difference. How so!? We all know that none of us had a shot with them, so why do we care? Be serious! At least they did the right thing and settled down and got married. (Unlike Joey Fatone who has a kid out of wedlock) That's what people do in life, get married. Just b/c they are in the public eye doesn't mean that they have to miss out on happiness. That guy is stupid. They have lives too. I don't think people realize that. BSB needs to get with someone who will support them and make good decisions for them. Not what's good for the money or *N Stink. That business is messed up. Well that's pretty much all I have to say. KTBSPA!

Hey all Bkst fans,
As a fan of almost a 9 year run, I must say I was highly upset about the article. Common sensely I agree that some fans who have lost respect on Kev and Bri's decision in getting married to their girlfriends, I mean that's totally wrong not to become a fan anymore. I've been a fan since I was probably 10 and its been going strong. But why depart with the group just because AJ was in rehab, just because Kevin and Brian both got married to their long term girlfriends, but also the group had released a greatest hits cd - you decide now you're no longer going to be their fan, thats just WRONG. However, the spotlight is now on Nsync. I feel pretty bad thats focused on them 24/7, but as we the fans can always rest assure that we're always going to be supporting BSB no matter what. Through thick and thin - we're always going to be their fans, no matter what it takes to them to see the spotlight again. Sometimes I wonder if the many Nsync fans are also BSB fans, makes you wonder don't you think? I have friends that are mutal on both, but also have their thoughts on feelings on the groups. Although, I'm a little upset how Lou Pearlman can do such a thing to hurt the boys saying he'll give the gig up for Nsync when BSB declined, that is so wrong. I'm 19 years old now and still supporting them like ever. I can't say I'm a teenybopper anymore cuz I've grown up loving the boys and showing my love and support for them is all that I can do to be their fan. KTBSPA!

I don't think that the boys lost their younger audience. I know a lot of fans being 15-16, I'm 17 and I have an about 75-year-old friend who likes them too.

Hi I don't really agree with some of the things that guy said about BSB I mean they have been through SSOO!Much and I HIGHLY doubt that Nick doing a solo album will hurt them an anyway. And I'm 15 and I've been with BSB since I was 11 and I'm absolutly NOT A Teenybopper I love them but I also am a little mature when it comes to certain things so to that person who said that the BSB's younger fans are stupid that's pretty mean ya know.Your kinda sterio-typing us you don't know me and I don't know you so for you to say something like that is stupid and ignorant. But back to the article don't let it bother you we know them better than any stupid reporter and we always hear that they're breaking up or one of them is leaving. So the best thing to do is ignore it.And KTBPA Because they always prove them wrong and come out even better than before.

Hi everyone! I just want to say that people who left the Boys (if any) because Brian and Kevin got married were not true fans. I don't think their marriages damaged their popularity. I am proud that our Boys don't lie to us. As for me I BECAME A FAN when I saw an interview with them and Brian was talking about his wife and future kids. He was sooo sweet. I want him to be happy and faithful. (and I'm sure he is.) I am happy for them and one day I want to have a kind and faithful husband like him. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BRIAN AND LEIGHANNE!

I don't like this article because they are saying that BSB is done for and they're gone. So what if they're not always in the spotlight like *NSYNC or if they don't always get the recognition they deserve. BSB has been and still are one of the most successful and popular groups around today. And I don't think they're losing their younger audiences. I'm almost 15 and they're still my fave group. All my friends feel the same way. People should just learn to realize there's more to them and they work just as hard, or harder, than anyone in the entertainment business.

I've read some of the comments about the article that Times printed. Most of them I agree with, some I'm not so sure. I usually don't do things like this, voicing my opinion, but I thought I'd give it a try.
I don't think the Backstreet Boys are lost, not at all. The Times is more than welcome to have their own opinion and I don't think we should completely trash them for expressing it. To the eyes of Backstreet fans they are wrong, at least we all hope they are. With everything the Boys have gone through I think they're stronger than ever. Whatever they decide though, to continue on or quit, I'm behind them 100%. And I think that's what fans should do, support them till the end. No matter what and no questions asked. Believe in the Backstreet Boys, they'll do what they have to do, and we have to respect that even if it's not what we want.
I realize I'm rambling, like I said before, I'm new at this.

I think the guy who wrote this article as no clue about what and who the boys are. Last time I checked the boys were still scessful! You don't need to break every record in the world to be scessful you need to put out good music and that's what the backstreet boys do! The guys have had their share of problems before and if they really do have a problem with Nick staying with their old mangment and putting out a solo album they'll work through that too. I'm sure N'SYNC has their share of problems too you just don't hear about it as much. And to say the boys lost popularity because Kevin and Brian got married is a joke! I mean I was very happy for them and most fans were too. If any fans left them because they got married well they weren't true fans to begin with. AJ is getting married now too does that mean all of us are going to stop liking him? NO! The guys have grown up that's all. You've got to expect that they are human after all! Kevin, AJ, Howie, Nick, and Brian are more than just the Backstreet Boys they are friends and family to each other and they will work through whatever problems they have in the end because they mean alot to one another.

I am sorry, but what are these people so afraid of that they have to make up stupid rumors like this? Are they honestly so scared that BSB is gonna come back on top larger than ever that they have to make up crap like this?? Yes I know Nick has a solo album coming out. He's not GOING SOLO, he made songs by himself. There is a difference. Nick has sadi it about a thousand times that he is NOT leaving. What does he have to do to prove this to people? Show them the future through a crystal ball???
And yes I know about them leaving their management company and how much friction that did cause but they WORKED IT OUT. Stuff like this happens every day of my life in my home with my friends and family. We fight. We have disagreements. Does that mean I'm going to pack up and leave? What if that's what happened for real? As soon as you don't agree on something you just leave? No one would be married, no one would be together, no one would be friends, or family...we wouldn't even be capable of having fish as pets! EVERYONE FIGHTS. But we get over it! And so have they. Now it's time for US to get over it! They are not splitting up. Face it. Why do you people want to think that they ARE so badly?? Do you WANT them to split or something???

I don't really know what to think about this article. I think that BSB are starting to lose some of their momentum, but so is NSYNC. The country seems to be going more hip hop and rock. I don't think that Nick's solo career is going to hurt the guys. I don't think that AJ's rehab is going to hurt the guys. I do think that the high ticket sales hurt the guys. People don't care about the reasons for the ticket prices. They think that BSB is just out to make more money. They don't realize that BSB gets paid for the recording. They don't make alot of the money made from album sales and merchandising. It's not like that in this business. I think that if the guys can get it together, they will be alright and maybe not get a good album for awhile but they will be back. And LeighAnne, can I just say two words? Yoko Ono! If anyone diagrees with me or agrees with me feel free to email me. Thanks.

I don't think that we should worry about the Backstreet Boys and what people are saying about them. The rumers that they are breaking up come out about once a month and it hasn't happened yet. All "brothers" have their disagreements, and if they are,I'm sure they'll realize what's really important. I know I for will NEVER quit loving and respecting the "boys"!
God bless,

Reading about recent news and speculations about the Backstreet Boys has worried me in the past few weeks. All of these talks about BSB breaking up, BSB losing their luster, Nick being at odds with the rest of the group, etc., have made me feel agitated on what is truly happening.

But, I realized that I should just believe. Believe in the Backstreet Boys. Believe in Nick. Believe in Kevin. Believe in AJ. Believe in Brian. Believe in Howie. Because in the end, BSB and their true and loyal fans are the ones that truly matter. Not the media, not their competitors, not their record company and management...

As what Ryan from Australia says, "As long as we're here, who cares?..."

I saw the "Larger Than Live" BSB concert on UPN last night and thought the boys were amazing. They aired N*SYNC last week and it was no comparison to BSB. I can't believe how amazingly talented these guys are. I've been following the boys for many years now and of course am older now, but some things don't change. I can still relate to their music and it brings on a feeling of constantness when everything in life is forever changing and complicating. Regardless of what the articles says, everything in life goes through stages. I believe BSB will come back stronger than ever with fans that truely love their work and not their image. After all, everything happens for a reason.
