Okay, someone got to get me to stop crying. These boys have forgotten what the old good times were about... the music and their friendships!!! I really can not believe these boys have gone off doing this. I love them to death, but they need to yell, scream, fight and then play some b-ball so they can fix this. I wanna ten year cd out next year, with all the boys... not just four.... Maybe its time their women kick them in the ass and tell them how its done!!!! anyone think thats good idea? well I'm praying now, I'm praying to keep boys together and the pride alive!!! y all hear? yall pray with me????

The Backstreet Boys have the talent to be around for ten more years if they want to. If they decide that isn't what they want to do I will be the first one to shed tears, but I refuse to believe that they are coming to an end until they say so. Have the Backstreet Boys ever not been completely honest with their fans? No...they have always been honest about things. If the Backstreet Boys did decide to take their lives in different directions we will hear it from them first and not some silly rumor, newspaper, magazine or tabloid. The Backstreet Boys are my favorite group and for many reason other than just their beautiful voices and good looks, but for their kind hearts and loyalty to their fans, among other things. I hope they are around forever. Happy Birthday, Howie!!

About this article... First I think it was well written, except the title..where did that come from? The Backstreet Boys didn't break up. They didn't come undone...they just had a lot of hardships that were delt to them through their recording company and management. After reading this article I immediately sent it to a few non-Backstreet friends who told me that they found a new respect for all they'd been through. Anyway those are just my thoughts of right now thanks for listening :) Happy Birthday Howie!

I agree with what other fans have said I don't care what the article says because even though some things may be true but a lot of times people just want to say stuff just to get a reaction from fans and that they may not like the group. No matter what I will always be a Backstreet Boys fan. KEEP THE BACKSTREET PRIDE ALIVE!

I don't care what any article says about them because I will always love and support my boys until the day I die. However, I strongly feel that this article was only put out there to try and upset all the fans. It was completely unappropriate! But then again, it just proved how strong of a group the truly are, and that nothing and no one will ever come between them. They have been through so much in the past few years, and I cannot even begin to express how extremely proud I am of them. It's about time people start treating them like real human beings and start giving them the respect they deserve. Oh, and another thing, Nick is NOT leaving the group. How many times does he need to repeat himself? He just wanted to do something on his own for once and have more freedom to sing what he wants. He has also said many times that the other guys are supporting him. Everything is fine between them, so stop giving them so much crap! Lets start focusing on all the happy lives they've touched and how much they've accomplished as a group. I love my boys with all my heart and soul and I will always be grateful to them for everything they have done for me. All the fans need to keep showing their love and support because it's are turn to give back to them. Nick's solo album is gonna rock and their next Backstreet album is gonna be better than ever! KTBSPA 4-eva!!!!!! See ya boys real soon! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOWIE!!!

Alright, here's the deal. We ALL know that BSB paved the way for not only NSYNC but for many other artists out there, but that's how it goes. It may not be fair, but throughout the course of music history it's been that way.

But what makes me mad are all of these critics claiming that the days of BSB are over. I mean, yea I don't know the boys so who knows, maybe they are comming to an end, but I doubt it. These music critics are so hypocritical sometimes. In one article they talk about how the boys have been together for 10 years and have paved the way for all other artists. But in the same article they write about how they are going through a tough time that they will not overcome; when in the paragraph before they talked about their career surviving Brian's heart surgery, the backlash from 2 Backstreet weddings, Nick's arrest, AJ's rehab, and mulitple label changes. So they can get through all that crap but can't get through a time where Nick wants to experiment on his own and where they are selling only 8 million records not 10? (i don't know if those numbers are right, but you get the point) there are thousands of bands who would die to sell a quarter of that amount, but for BSB it's horrible.

what it comes down to is that 10 years is a long time, and a lot of stuff happens in ten years which if you put behind you, you'll move on and if you dwell on it you'll lag behind. It looks to me that the boys have moved on in every problem they've come across and they give me no reason to believe that it's different now.

All I would like to say is the following:
NSync have one leader of the group, Justin. And he won't stay once his solo carreer takes off. So that group will not be celebrating its 10th anniversary ever.

This year the guys are working on the new album, taking time for themselves and allowing each to do what they want to do. In Nick's case that is doing a solo album. Great. I'm looking forward to it.
And next year when we are celebrating BSB 10 years, that is the time to give us the next BSB album. They were forced to get Chapter One out before they wanted it, well not with this album.
And unlike NSync, BSB don't have just one leader and 4 backing vocals. They are 5 individuals with all of them the ability to shine.

I'm not worried. Let them all just think BSB is going down. Won't they all be surprised when they rise out of the ashes, stronger and better than ever before.

No, I'm not worried at all. Just looking forward to the next great thing that they have in store for us all.

Hey i just wanna say everytime BSB does somrthing Nsync has to do it plus these guys don't sing that great theey have weak ass lyrics gay music vids and unorignal dance moves and um why do girls like Justin I think h is ugly as our the other guys. Plus Nsync cries for attention hy BSB gets it naturally In 10 yrs if BsB is still around I il not be surprised but if Nsync is well i already kno that's impossible!

You know what pisses me off? Everything about 'N Sync and their easy road to fame, if that's what you want to call it.
The Backstreet Boys worked their arses off since 1993 and finally break the doors down in the states in 1997. They had success everywhere but the U.S. first. Then when those doors were open, everyone decides to go through. Including 'N Sync and their huge egos.

Ok, so they get their fame, and with Britney's help, they gain success in the states. And as you all know, once you're big in the states, you're big everywhere else...considering the states is the most powerful country in the world and the most influential.

Now there's all this BS about how the Backstreet Boys is #2 and how 'N Sync is so much better. Those people can just shove all that shizzo up their rear. There's more talent in Nick's pinky than in all of 'N Sync.

It doesn't help that Jive is the worst label ever. Talk about taking advantage of people and being greedy.

Basically, if it wasn't for the Boys, and Britney dating Justin, 'N Sync wouldn't be "huge". I guess being a sell-out brings popularity. And Justin, will you please stop acting black for popularity.

I am choosing not to belive any of this bull sh*t until i hear it straight from the boys themselves... and when and IF i do, I will be deaply saddened. I love nick, but I also love bsb... the group itself made me love them... and no matter what happenes, I will always love them... KTBSPA

The only thing I agreed on was what they mentioned about Clearchannel buying out the tour and that that was why the prices were so high-now it finaly makes sense!
I know Nicks album will do great, hopefully debut at #1! Remember, the sales only count for the first week if you buy it in the store.

I have one last comment and then I will not post again. BSB had top ten hits when *NSYNC was still serenading shamu at sea world, so the New York Post, and especially MTV can blow it out their kazoo! I don't believe BSB is breaking up or recording without Nick and I refuse to believe that until I hear that from them! Now, everyone KTBSPA! "Now or Never" October 29th! New BSB album early next year! That's all that matters! Much love to all the supporters! Bah humbug to all the haters! BSB forever!

I think nick's album "Now or Never" as a much bigger change than justin's "Justify" because nick's like has alittle bit of everything in it and justin only has rap and rap just doesn't fit justin so I think Nick will really out beat Justin's.

LOOK WHAT THE A$#HOLES SAID ABOUT NICK'S ALBUM. THEY PISS ME OFF:

The New York Post reports industry insiders are saying Justin Timberlake's new album 'Justified' is a better debut solo effort than Backstreet Boys rival Nick Carter's 'Now Or Never'. "Justin’s new album, ‘Justified,’ is amazing," said one industry insider. "He is going to be huge." As for Carter, his disc is said to be such a disappointment, his label Jive almost didn’t release it. For their part, a Jive rep told the Post, "We are behind Nick 100 percent. He’s doing his video for ‘Help Me’ next week, and we fully support him."

'Now or Never' comes out October 29. No other big albums come out that day so I think Nick will have a top 3 debut, maybe even number 1. However, Christina Aguilera's album release date hasn't been announced yet but it's supposed to be late October.
'Justified,' Justin's album, comes out November 12. Dru Hill's new group album comes out Nov. 12 as well. I think that will definately debut number 1.

Nick has a good chance of debuting No.1. Justin doesn't have a chance. And we all know that worldwide Nick will definately sell more than Justin.

All you people outside the U.S., you gave BSB their initial success. Represent for BSB and support Nick's album.
