I lived off the Backstreet Boys. I heard their song over the radio one day and I fell head of hills for them. I listened to them since I could talk. And I am 16 now and I still love them. Out of the whole entire group I have to say that my favorite would have to be A.J. I love the way he sings and the way he looks. And I know that my dream may never come true but I wish that it actually would one day, that they come to Mississippi for a tour and do a concert. I have NEVER seen them in concert and just to see them one time will make me happy. I would love to see them back stage one time also. Another thing that would be nice to do is spend the weekend with them. But I bet that we all wish that we could do that with every celebrity that we like. It would be nice. But my boyfriend being a bit of a romantic, is a true fan of the songs created by the one and only backstreet boys. He is a bit of a softy and I beleive the honest lyrics of the songs relate alot to our relationship and how we feel for each other. Thats maybe why the song lyrics or a BSB CD will often appear in my inbox or bag. There words are emotional and soft, and i think that no one else could truley tell the stories the way they do! And as much as I'd love to hear a new CD and see another concert, with Kevin leaving, Brian doing his solo album and AJ possibly doing a solo CD and Nick just needs to GROW UP. The boy needs serious therapy! I feel, in my deepest heart and soul, that it is time for the boys to let it go. It would have been wonderful if they could have done one last US tour. Cher did her final tour for 3 years before finally calling it quits. That way ALL 4 of them could have said it's been a great ride, but now it's time to go our separate ways and live our own lives and do our own thing. I believe Kevin leaving would have been easier to take if they had done it that way. So the guys aren't #1 on the billboard charts or on TV doing a special (heck, even that would have been a great way to say good-bye. It could have been another "Elvis Aloha From Hawaii sort of thing). But once a fan, always a fan. If the boys disbanding is what is in the stars, then we have to let fate take over and hope for a reunion tour in 5 or 10 years. They dont have it like they use to. Their last 2 cds didnt do well, and their tour didnt do that well either. To BSB boyband standards. Compared to other people it did extremely well. 2 are married, 1 is engaged, 1 is having a baby, and 1 is doing a solo thing. I think BSB is almost fresh out of it. These things cant go on forever.
