Ok, here's the deal. I can either go to a Backstreet Boys concert, or I can go to college. Yes, the concert would be incredible. But after spending all of that money, I'd be out on the street! That may be SOME exaggeration going on there, but it isn't much of a stretch. Yeah I love the Boys and would do anything for them. But I'm not giving up my life's savings for a concert. Sorry, but I've got my priorities in check. Surely they have enough money by now that if they pool some of their savings they can give awesome concerts with reasonable prices. So how I see it now, they have all these cars, houses, adoring fans, but still they need money. Ok, that's how it appears. Now, don't get me wrong, I love them a lot! But I, too, would like a car without bumming money from my friends. Maybe I should ask BSB for some money. Ya think they have any?

Okay yea i love the Backstreet Boys and everything they are the best, but come on now the ticket prices are crazy. OKay i understand that they need to make money and everything but by now dont you think that they have enough, come on now we all the MTV Cribs of AJ and Howie's house's i think they are doing just fine. If AJ ever need money he could sell one of his 5 cars that he has. Also they have so many others things that they make money off of, because we all buy all the pillows, lunchboxes, the posters, and even the imported singels that cost and arm and a leg.

Ok. all of us diehard bsb fans would probably pay whatever it takes! Me and my friend went about a year and a half ago and paid $158 each!! I know it's a little ridiculous, but they were a gift. We're gonna see them again on July 22 and we are VERY excited! Is anyone with me??

As far as I know, the BSB can't really do anything about ticket prices. The venues call the Boy's people, and they book shows, and set ticket prices, not the other way around. Plus, if BSB aren't coming to your town, don't complain to BSB, complain to your venue. They have to call and book a show. The ticket prices are too high. I've been to two concerts - at the GA Dome on 01-27-01, which I paid $50 each for, and the seats really sucked. But at the Philips Arena (much smaller than the Dome) on 06-11-01, I paid $124.50 each for tickets, and I got really good seats. I was right up on the side, to the right of the guys. Like the sixth row back on the first level. I had a great view, and I was very close to the stage. Personally, I think they were better than the majority of the floor seats. For the view/closeness I had, I think that ticket was worth every penny. But people on the opposite side of the arena were paying the same price. Granted, Philips Arena is very small, but still...a lot of people can't afford these tickets. That is definately the reason they didn't sell out. I know people who were so upset because they couldn't afford even one ticket. Even $80 is a bit too steep. I wish BSB could negogiate more with the venues and Ticketmaster to lower the prices. I don't know. We'll see what goes on next tour, when it all starts over again. If prices get to $200 in nosebleed or even mid-section, I say that's when we go on strike. Scalpers don't count, they're always too steep.

Wow, that one girl sure needs to lighten up a bit. lol Anyway, my opinion on the ticket prices? It's absolutely ridiculous. I love BSB to death, but how can they possibly have to charge this much for a ticket?? I'm going to a concert really soon, and I paid $125 a ticket for seats that aren't even that good! We are in Row W and still paying a fortune. I have had to work all summer to pay my parents back, who were royally pissed when they found out about the price. Plus, my aunt, who usually goes with me is boycotting them cuz its so expensive!! The concerts aren't even selling out, if BSB wants to sell them out they gotta realize we arent as rich as them!! lol Don't get me wrong, I still love them to death, I just wish I didnt have to spend hundreds of dollars to show them. *Katie

Richardson: It was money well-spent. It's a beautiful show and the audience is going to get their money's worth and have a great time. That's what's most important. Right, fellas?

I am going to a Backstreet Boys Black and Blue concert and I think the ticket prices were way too high! We had to pay alot more than we should have for them, but then again it's all worth it! Anything to see BSB!

I thought that the ticket prices for their summer tour were and are WAY too high! Over the past years I have been attending BSB concerts, and I'm proud to say this July 5th will be my 3rd, I have both cried and screamed for the 5 most talented men in this world today. I have enjoyed myself and their concerts extremely and all my (moms) money spent, rediculous or not, was well worth it.

I was shocked when I saw that tickets were $38-$100. That's ridiculous. However, had I not had a previous family duty in Orlando the night they're

OK, I think the BSB are way awesome. I went to their concert in Miami Arena in the year 1998 and I bought 4 tickets. The total price was around 150 dollars which is pretty good for 4 tickets. But do you know how much I had to pay for 1 ticket this year in Panamá (2001)? 125 Dollars!!! and to top that, there were other even more expensive that cost 200$$! I know Backstreet Boys are an awesome act and are extremely popular, but their managers and even they should think a little more on their fans, rather than getting money because WE are the ones that keep them going. I love them, but this just can't go on...

Yes, the ticket prices are too high. But I think that some people are being a little unfair when they put the blame for that on someone. Alot of people think that its all BSB's fault for the prices, when, in reality, their managers and record company, along with the management of the venues they are playing at, make the final decision about how much ticket prices cost.

Yes, prices are too high. This year I got VERY good seats thanx to a VERY generous friend. My ticket was 132.00 and that ticks me off. Just last year, the same friend got me tickets in the 16th row, and they were only 42.00 Kepp in mind that ticketmaster prices are reasonable. Scalpers sell them for more, so its unfair to complain about prices if you bought them from a scalper. BUT no matter how high prices get, they are worth it and more... (unless its like....completely ridiculous. In that case, buy a movie of theirs)

Okay let me add my two cents. I am one of those fans who wold pay almost anything to see the boys. I mean 2 years ago I spent $950.00 PER TICKET (got 5 of them) to see them in Orlando. I was on the 2nd row and I had a ball. But I was furious when I saw how much they were charging for tickets this time around. I mean not everybody can afford to pay that and there will be some fans who miss out on an awesome show because their parents refuse to pay that much or they don't have it themselves. Now what I don't understand is why are the ticket prices different depending on the show you go to? For example, here in Raleigh the most expensive ticket is 89.00 bucks. In Tampa it's 95.00 bucks and in Atlanta it's 124.00 bucks. I love the fellas I really do but not too long ago they were campaigning against scalpers charging way too much for tickets and "ripping off the fans" but what has this turned into? SOMEBODY has determined that the fans will pay any price put out there and is going crazy with that power. And no sir, I don't like it.

Ok, in my opinion, ticket prices are WAY to high! I love my Boys very much, and would pay to see them, but my parents, not I, think that $60 bucks PER TICKET is reasonable for the last row. When I went to see BSB in the Into The Millenium Tour, I had upper deck, and it was like $40 bucks per ticket, which isn't that bad, especially sicne the stage was in the round and you could see those lovely Boys from anywhere on any side of the arena. I think you could see them up higher better newayz cuz the stage was so high {i knew someone in 10th row who had to stand on their chair the whole time cuz they couldn't see}. But to pay $60 for a seat in the last row and to have a stage that is not in the round and where you might not be able to see, yeah, it's still good cuz it's BSB, but I'd rather pay more money to be closer and be able to see, but to me it's ridiculous to pay $300 to get a good seat. This is just my opinion. There's always next year, when I will get a seat though! KTBPA!

Wayyyyy back in 1998, I got tickets for 2 concerts for $35...no matter where i was sitting. In 1999, I got tickets for $50, in the nosebleeds. In 2001 I got floors for $91. So when i went to get tickets for the summer tour, i thought they'd be reasonable...i knew all the good seats were long gone. and i got tickets in the nosebleeds, at the OPPOSITE end of the arena....for $100! what the hellllll? 3 months ago i paid $100 to get 10 feet away from ma boys. i'm down with that its cool. but now i gotta pay $100 to watch them from a mile away! this is crazy inflation going on, and its not right! i'll pay it, god knows i will...but i wish i didn't have to!

It doesn't look like bsb is too poor to me! If they were that poor they could sell one of their 5 cars that they probably haven't even drove more than 2 times if ther were suffering from not getting paid that much. And plus, I remember them saying even if they didn't get paid anything, they still would be performing. So why are they complaining?

u guys i spent 124 for a front row seat. i see nuthin that bad about it. i mean it is BSB and it is front row. u guys are talkin about THE BIGGEST GROUP IN THE WORLD. we all are so happy for our boys that they are seen as that. we brag about it to our friends and smile about it when we hear it on ET or Access Hollywood. yet we expect BSB to have cheap ticket prices. ok where is the logic in that. and i remember hearin somewhere that BSB arent even gettin paid alot for this tour. so how are they sell outs if they even gettin paid that much. and to the girl who was mad that BSB werent comin to her state. ok no offense but 4hrs is nuthin. ima have to drive 12. and i totally think it is worth it. if BSB is gonna be 8x in Cali that is 8x u can go see them. and i will only start complanin if BSB start chargin 500 for a back row seat. im startin to see BSB fans every where complanin about everything. and i totally think it is sad that this group is tryin to please every1 yet no1 seems to appreciate it.
