well, let me say that the black and blue tour was great! I can go on and on but this is for the prices of the tickets.
I was dissapointed with the prices. 78$ for crappy seats. i believe it was the MILLENIUM TOUR where I paid
35$ for 6th row seats! I expected prices for this show to go up, but c'mon guys i never thought they'd go 40$ up!
I don't care if you say you're the #1 fan the prices where a bit extreme. i have a money limit and i'm not trying
to sound cheap when i say this, but i am NOT paying more than that for crappy seats, i don't care how good the
show is! alright, i'm going to calm down now. I think with the money i paid they should not only have a great show,
but good costumes! i give the show a rating of: "B+" compared to the MILLENNIUM TOUR which got: "A".
now the outfits... this show's outfits get a "C". some of them were cool, like the flame pants when they performed
"not for me", but most of the time they were really too funky. Last tour's suits were really awesome they get: "A".
They sounded much better on the black and blue tour than on the MILLENNIUM tour. MILLENNIUM tour Nick's voice was so squeaky,
and you could barely understand what the heck they were saying!
THE POINT: OVERALL PRICES WERE TO HIGH FOR THE SHOW.

I continue to be surprised by the reactions of fans like the one who posted before me. Yes...we have supported them along the way. That's why to BENEFIT us fans they chose to do an arena tour where we could all have decent views of our guys. As a result, we have to pay extra cash for tickets. BIG DEAL! I am guessing you have not yet seen this tour, because if you have you would have acknowledged the amazing production values of this HIGHLY entertaining show. The Black & Blue Tour is a very expensive show to put on - no doubt one of the biggest tours in history. So, of course the prices are expensive. Personally, I'm surprised the tickets aren't MORE expensive. I truly doubt the Boys are making all that much money due to the expensive production. Give them some credit for their continuous dedication to the career and their fans. This may be their last tour. $50, even for a balcony seat, is not a high price to pay to see these guys in concert. And almost ALL venues have tickets for around $40...so is it REALLY prices you are upset about? You don't have to pay $150 for the premium seats. That's for fans who have enough money...or worked hard to earn the money to show the Boys how much they care. I know I would pay $300 a shot (this is a BIG tour...I don't think you guys realize how BIG it is). The Boys are putting on a great show - with two amazing opening acts....where's there support?

Here in Toronto, Canada, Backstreet Boys first level tickets are selling for $159.00 each. The "cheap" seats so to speak are selling for $78.00 which I wouldn't say are very cheap at all, quite expensive I would say to watch BSB at the size of ants. I can't believe they would charge such a price to their fans who got them to where they are today. This is what we get for buying their albums and making their pay cheques, $159.00 a ticket. What is that all about? They are taking advantage of us and because of this, I will never buy another BSB concert ticket.

Well...I hope that whatever this extra $$ is going towards really benefits the show coz I cannot believe the prices these days. I mean sure I love the Boys and will still pay the $70, but GEEZ guys! The Into The Millennium Show was only $43!! What gives? LOL =)

personally i don't think that the tickets are to much. the guys put on a great show and make sure that everyone gets what they pay for. its just that if you really want to go you'll find the way to get the money. i mean, i got grounded no phone or net for 9 weeks because of the first black and blue show but i don't care because i'll always rember the concert, unlike the phone calls and emails that i didn't get to do.

yup. I wrote a post about it earlier, but it got deleted.... I know how you guys feel because I practically know every trick in the book of excuses parents use. I've been there done that and a lot of parents wouldn't change their minds on things like this. I am just lucky enough that the tickets came out near christmas last time and this time for near my birthday enough for my birthday present. Not many parents would actually do that for their parents because they can make the lamest excuse ever. here are some examples that I have picked up from my parents especially my dad. "This money for the tickets would be enough for a month of groceries" "You've seen them last time, they're the same, why going again and pay more?" "Why do think you deserve this?" "Go pay for yourself" "You're grounded if you go" "I'm not letting you go alone" "you can't go with your friends, you need a parent" "The ticket's too expensive" "that's over your curfew" "You're too spoiled" etc.... these are just some of them that I have experienced. There's a lot more. I feel sorry for the younger fans and fans that are teens but unemployed because they might not be able to go since the parents have to pay for it and their parents would be giving out all the excuse they can ever think of. I mean ticket price was almost double the price from last time. even I didn't pay that much for my ticket because mine came in a package including backstage pass and stuff from a girl despiratly selling it. it was worth every penny because meeting them was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I agree that ticket prices are high but you have to realize that they boys has come along way since the beginning. I paid almost 225.00 for 2 tickets to go and see them. I am proud of it to. They are worth the money to see cuz they have 2 opening acts.

I agree. Ticket prices are way too high. My parents refused to buy tickets for the B&B tour due to the prices of the tickets. At 60 bucks a piece, sending 4 people to the concert is very very expensive. All of us were looking foward to this tour, but as its looking, there is no way anyone in my family is going to get to go. My parents said "no artist is worth that much" and personally, I agree.

i think ticket prices are ridiculous. we paid $274 for two seats in almost the very last row of the pavillion at the verizon wireless center. now don't get me wrong-i am obsessed with bsb, and there's no way i would pass up a chance to see them, but do they think they're really worth $124 per person sitting in the pavillion! we are teenage girls, not millionaires! i have to work my butt off to pay for my ticket. i'm not saying its not worth it, b/c i love bsb so much and i would feel horrible if i didn't get to go to the concert. so i am looking for a petition to send to jive to tell them how stupid they are and how they have lost a lot of my respect. anyone else feelin this way?!?!
