i belive that the BSB ticket prices are not expencive at all i think its way worth on spending money on the BSB because they deserve more than that they do alot of work and we as fans are here to support them Ive gone to 2 concerts lately and one right now on August the first time i want i spend 30$ because i got way back but it was worth it the secound time I spend 70$ and I got the sections in the 100 which is pretty good and that was for the Black and Blue tour and now for the August concert I spend 124$ because I got floor seats now thats a hell of a good price i belive its way worth it on the Black and Blue concert it was great I said to my self money dont matter because the BSB make it a great concert really worth a lot of money and I belive it should cost more money because BSB give it all in there concert and it shows the fans how we are important to them. Imagin seeing your fave BSB which for me is NIck its way worth the money just to see them live imaginthem holding your hand then you'll know that u exist in his life wow thats great well i belive money dont matter what matters is that your there to have fun and even to take away your problems u know u will always see me at a BSB concert cause im keeping the BSB pride alive. I LOVE YOU NICK

YES the prices are WAY TO HIGH!!!! I have seen my share of concerts and the most I paid was $50 for KISS(I was in the front row). I would like to know why they charge so much? It has to be about money. The thing that gets me is we the fans make or break an up and coming band. Because of us liking them they are where they are now. And how do we get thanked? They thanks us by screwing us with $100+ concert tickets in most cases for a good seat to see them. Would the boys(men) like to pay that much to see a show? When did being in a band and entertaining people becasue you loved music and enjoyed doing what you do become seeing who can screw the fans the most? Maybe the BSB's don't see that much of the money maybe it is all the"people" working for them that need to be paid. But when people are unhappy with the prices it is them. It is their name, they are the ones we go to see and we feel it is them screwing us. They have the power to say hey. Let's give the fans something back let's stop these high prices and be reasonable about this. Let's make it affordable so eveyone can come.I'm sure they went to concerts before the "made it". I wish they would remember what it was like. I wish one of them would come explaine to my 6 yr old who rocks out to their cd's all the time why she can't go see one of their shows...I remember when a good concert was about having a good time and enjoying the music and the atmosphere that goes along with it . Now it is about a second mortgage and going into bankrupcy.:(

I think the prices are way to high. The boys have yet to come to Arkansas so to go to a concert I would have to go to either Tennessee or Texas so either way it is a 6 or 7 hour drive. Plus the prices of tickets. So with the cost of tix, gas, food, merchandise. I have yet to be able to go to one of their concerts because I do not have that much money and my parents won't pay that much money. So I think they should atleast lower their prices a little bit. Even though all that money would probably be well worth it.

I had to see them in Lexington because they did not come here this tour :( And I have to say that it was worth the $180 for the ticket, the $20 for gas, and the $115 speeding ticket(i got on the way home). Not to mention the 2 hr drive there, the 3 hr concert, the 2 hr wait in the bar at the hotel, and the 2 hr drive home. I don't see how anyone can complain about the ticket price if they actually saw the show. I have been to over 20 concerts and I can tell you that the money was well worth it. Try paying close to $100 a ticket and have Metallica not show up, or going all the way to IU and have openers- Foo Fighters put on a better show than headliners- Red Hot Chili Peppers. Or, spend the same amount of money to see Nsync play with toys- what a waste of money!

I don't really think ticket prices are too high. I think the merchandise is too high. I mean 8 bucks for a glow stick that works for about 10 hours? Anyways, BSB is a very popular group, and they put on an awesome show. The prices they charge are a little expensive, but I think they deserve to charge that much. They're a big name in music. Also, some of the money goes to their charities, so they don't get all the money.

Several people have commented that the boys shouldn't charge so much because "they already have enough money." So I'm pondering this statement. Did it really seem like a good idea when you wrote it??? You're basically saying, "They have too much money so they should work for free." I realize that all of you who made this comment may not have meant that they should work for FREE, but if they lower the ticket prices too much, that's what they would be doing. Of course, I've already posted my thoughts on this matter, but many of you probably didn't have the chance to read them so i'm going to restate my opinion. Anyone who has seen this tour knows it's amazing. It may not be your "favorite" tour, but the special effects and everything are spectacular. That costs a lot of money. Many of you will say that they should take those out to make the tickets cheaper. Even if they did, the tickets would still be expensive. And if they took out all the special effects, they wouldn't be growing which is a major goal as a group for them. Think about all the people they have to pay: security (God knows they need those men), management, the record company, the bus drivers, the crew, the dancers, the list goes on and on. Without all those people the tour would not be possible. I understand that many of you were unable to purchase tickets because of the cost, and I'm sure the boys understand that and they most probably hate it. But what are they supposed to do? I think everyone should just be thankful they are taking the time out of their lives to grace us with their presence at all.

I paid $60 for my ticket and it was worth every penny. I had good seats too. It was my first time seeing them in concert so I was thrilled!!! I'm seeing them again in Detroit and it cost $85 for that ticket- worth every penny!!!! hey all you out there, don't be so hard on BSB. Everything is expensive now a days and BSB does not have total control over the price of the tickets. Look at Madonna? Her tickets are $250!!!! The bigger arena you go to the morre $$ it will be. In Greenville the arena only holds 12,000 people and the ticket prices ranged from $60-$35. In Detroit the Palace holds like 40,000 people & prices range from $125-45. BSB is worth it!!! Remember they do donate some of the sales!!!

I think that in some places the ticket prices can be way too high! Mine were like $69 or something but I have awesome seats.

I think ticket prices are WAY too high. I mean, yeah, they've never gone to China but still! This summer I'm going to be in Calgary and I begged my mom to let me buy tickets but she said 'No, it's not worth the money.' If they had been cheaper, then maybe she would've let me gone. But nooo, she didn't let me.

I think that the ticket prices are terrible! Like here it's $85 for the good seats and $50 for the bad seats! That is WAY too expensive! What does bsb think, that we're made out of money like they are?! They don't need to charge that much because it doesn't look like the're THAT poor! I mean, there are people in this world that are starving and bsb has like 5 mansions each, 10 cars each, and every single thing that you can imagine and more!

My opinion is that the tickets prices are way too high. I love the boys more than anything but I had to pay 160$ for the show in Toronto and I mean that's ALOT! How many people have that much money to spend on a show? I'm upset that they would do this to us. Do you understand how much money these guys make? The prices are ridiculous and totally not cool. I thought they were against ripping off their fans. Not cool backstreet.

I have told many of my friends how much i paid for my Backstreet Boy tickets and they have flipped. But i don't see the big deal. Yes they may seem quite expensive but the guys have got to earn a living too. The fans have got to think of what these guys do, how much time they give up to please their fans. And it must be really hard for Brian and Kevin right now. I'm sure they would like to start a family. I think that everything has gone up. If the fans have such a problem with the ticket price then why do they buy them? I think everyone is making a big deal over nothing. I have a question to all the fans who have went to see the Black & Blue Tour...Did you enjoy it? And do you think it was worth the $100 you spent? If you want, email me at FanaticBSB12@cs.com and tell me how you feel about this situation.

Okay, for those of you who THINK the boys dont have anything to do with the ticket prices, YOU'RE SO WRONG! They have control over how much the tickets will cost to some extent, and that is true. They all come to an agreement on how much they want to charge, and even though the venue makes the last decision, the boys play a big part in the deciding, so dont tell me they are totally innocent and perfect. They arent and they never will be. To that girl who totally flipped out about all this, GROW UP! I mean, the boys are regular people.. you need to calm down and let everyone else state their opinions.
I love the guys to death, and I would pay as much as I possibly could to see them in concert, but the ticket prices ARE rediculous and the boys DO have a say in it.. so dont blame it on the venue or the opening acts.. if the boys didnt like the prices.. they simply would have refused to play there.. which then would make the venue change their mind because they will not get a single cent that weekend..! Get my point?

The ticket prices are high, very high! The shows aren't selling out because they're too high. I paid $250 for two front row tickets, I guess they're worth it. BSB is still just as popular but a large majority of BSB fans are in college (well I'm not, but a large majority). They need money for college, sometimes they just can't spend it on concerts. I feel fortunate that I can go. The 3 Air Canada Centre(19,800) shows in Toronto are all sold out at the same ticket prices as all you Americans, just to let you know

I think that the prices for the summer tour are way too high.....when they came to Pitt. for the 1st time in the winter.....the seats were between $65-$80.....that was no big deal.....but the seats for these 2 coming up are between $42-$150...which would also not be a big deal if a financial problem had not come up....the $42 seats are lawn seats.....they put like 10 thousand people in there.......well the 2nd show didn't sell out....so the newspaper that owns the venue put the tickets on sale for 1/2 price.....so I'm going for $20...but if I would have had the money to actually buy the $150 seats I'd be really mad because....people that paid 1/2 price for the good seats on the 2nd night are getting better seats then those who paid twice as much for the 1st night.....so even though good fortune got me to go to my 3rd BSB concert in crapland seats (yes all 3 were in crapland)....there are people who are really upset about this whole thing.....then there are the people (sorry I'm venting) who think BSB are not selling tickets because they are becoming unpopular......that is not true....it is because people need the money for other things such as food.....or prior committments.....I am still as big of a BSB fan as I always was.....just because I can't afford a ticket does not mean I don't like them anymore

Yeah i agree that the ticket prices are too high! BUT you worry about that until you are in the seat at the concert and actually seeing the boys and then your thinking 'yeah this is definetly worth it' atleats that is what i, and all the people i go to concerts with thinks!!!I have spent lots of money on tickets for backstreet since day one. In 98 i went to a concert In Louisville KY I payed $75 for seats 2 sections back on the side of the stage about 11 rws back (thy werent the best but better than what ticketmaster was offering) then in 99 i went to a concert here in Cincinnati Oh i payed $200 for 12th row on the floor (not bad ya know) and then in March 00 i went to a concert in Indianapolis and once again payed $200 for seats but they were 6th row and that was the best deal i have ever gotten through this ticket company (721-SEAT) and then in February 01 i went to a concert in Pittsburg PA and i payed $450 (through a differnt ticket company they sucked it wasalast minute thing)for 5th row it was great lol.....and now a few weeks ago i bought 2nd row seats for the cincinnati concert for only $340 thats less than 5th row and its 2ndrow center!!!!! how cool is that???/ personally i think its pretty cool lol....Yeah i know thats still alot of money but its only a 140 more than 12th row and 110 less than 5th row..... but anyways i have to go i just tought i would share my 2 cents and to anyone who lives near cincinnati go out and buytickets for the show there is still some available through ticketmaster i want it to sell out they are such great performers!!!!!!!!! KTBSPA!!!!!!!!! lol peace- Nina

The show at Nissan Pavilion this summer was my 5th BSB concert, and even thought I paid twice as much for it as any other one, It wasn't the best experience. I feel lucky that I was able to go, but there were obviously a lot of people that couldnt, and that took away from the experience for all of us. The last concert I went to was at the MCI center in Feb, and that one was a lot more fun because of all the other people in the audience. The Boys react to the crowd, and when it is a small arena, not even full, and consisting largely of families and people over 30 (the only people who could afford tickets) it affects their performance. My 16 year old sister and I (I'm 19) were next to a couple with a toddler son on one side and 2 girls who were completely silent ont eh other side, and in front of us was a group of thirtysomethings. That just does not seem right. I know they wanted to play a smaller arena because it would be more intimate, but if it means jacking up prices to make up for it, its not worth it. Also, the pyro and stuff was cool, but again not worth the money. Most of us just really want to see the BOYS, not special effects.
