I have been a Backstreet fan for exactly three years now (it started Feb 15th, 1998), and I have to say that B&B is a very good album and a good progressive effort on Bsb's part. My favorite songs are:
1. Time
2. More Then That
3. Shining Star
4. Yes I Will

Hey, sup y'all??? My favorite song on "Black &
Blue" is definitly "The Answer To Our Life" and I think it will become their next single. Don't take my work for this, but when John Norris delivered the news on TRL about Kevin's "Just Within Reach" organization, they showed a live performance at the Fort Lauderdale (?) when they were singing that song, and he *hinted* that it would be "Hopefully their next single". I'm with him all the way, and if you look at this page, more than half of the people say "Answer to Our Life" so I'm with the peeps who say that.~*~Sherry Littrell~*~

I think out of all the songs on Black and Blue, my favorite is "The Answer To Our Life." It has that right beat that you can dance too.

'How Did I Fall In Love With You' is absolutely my favorite ballad on the album. 'Shining Star' is my favorite up-tempo track.

I'd have to say "What makes you different (Makes you beatiful)" is my fave tune so far because of the amazing harmonies on it.
Then it'd be "The Call" & "Not for Me"!

I love BSB. My all time favorite song on B&B has to be the one that Howie wrote. What makes you different makes you beautiful. I think it really shows off Howie's writing skills beautifully.

Hi there everyone!
I've been a Backstreet Fan for just a short while, but I have to say that out of all of their records, Black and Blue and Millenium are probably their best ones. They have such an awesome talent in their writing, and singing abilities, and they are especially wonderful performers, as I was fortunate enough to see them live in Washington,D.C. on Feburary 3rd. :) Of all of the songs on Black and Blue though, i'd definetly have to say that "More Than That","What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful)" are my absolute favorites! They are so beautiful, and both have such a wonderful, and original message to them! Thanks to the BSB for choosing such beautiful songs, and for placing them on such a wonderful record! hi everyone! see, i can put "everyone" instead of "everybody" all the time now! lol! anyway my top three favorite songs are:
1) "more than that"
2) "not for me"
3) "how did i fall in love with you"
i think "more than that" is the most beautiful song on the album. it makes me wanna cry because i totally understand what it means. and that's also the reason why i love "how did i fall in love with you". as for "not for me" i just love the beat. that song always makes me wanna dance. i think this album is better than millennium by far and i can't wait 'til i see them perform all the new songs in concert! 41 more days!!!!!!!! ktbspa!!!!

Hey all!
My faves on the B&B album are:
1) Shining Star (whenever I'm listening to the CD on the train or something I have to really restrain myself from dancing!)
2) How Did I Fall In Love With You (the first time I heard that song I started crying, it's so beautiful!)
3) Yes I Will (A.J. voice is AMAZING here. The beat reminds me of something Brian McKnight would sing--I absolutely love Brian McKnight!)
4) What Makes You Different... (I had to download this song but it's so beautiful. Howie writes some beautiful songs. The message behind the song is so VERY important.)
5) More Than That (The first time I heard this song I didn't like it that much but the more I listen to it the more I love it.)I luv the whole album really. Comparing it to Millennium, I think both albums are good BUT B&B shows just how much the guys have grown and changed over the years. I like this album BECAUSE it is so different than their "usual" stuff. Much props to the guys for having the courage to explore and experiment with different sounds!
