Boston 9/9/01

I woke up about nine on Sunday morning, not yet ready to scruntize over what outfit I would eventually climb in to. My first motive was to print up the note that had been saved on my computer since December, in hopes that I would some how manage to get the note in to their hands. It was a goal I had set back with my first concert back in Febuary, but the plan of tossing the note on stage with something else was a total mission failure, and it sailed miserably in to a sea of fans, being crushed under many happy feet. I had to come up with a better plan, with hopefully better seats.

After the note was printed, and both camera and film were in my purse, I proceeded to get ready, and waited for my friend Georgette to arrive. We planned on leaving about 1:30, and that we did.

We climbed in her rustic car, and I momentarily laughed at the souvinere she had bought from the summers jazz fest in montreal. "Byte Me" was typed boldly on a licence plate displayed on her dashboard. She mentioned how she liked it their, twas easier to remove when going to church.

The first mistake of the day arrived as Georgette turned south on to the high way, not totally comprehending that Massachuesettes is actually North of Rhode Island. We laughed that one off afterward, thankful we left early to do a little touring thing.

We parked are car in the Quince Adams Garage, prepaired to take a train, when neither of us had ever done so before. It took us awhile to figue out that the Outbound train was the train we were meant to take. But after that, it was smooth sailing.

After another train ride, we arrived in Boston, a leap away from the fleet center. Both starving, we staggered the streets of Boston, looking for something cheap. On the corner of one street or another, we found a small bar and grill, and it looked cheap enough, so we advanced in.

Halfway during the consumption of my beef sandwhich, a distinct looking older man walked over to our table and started hitting on us. He looked distinctly like a man from the mafia, and even had the little accent going. After he left, Georgette exclaimed that we wouldn't have to worry about being killed tonight because the Moffia fancied us. "You wanna mess with me? I got a homie from the mofia!"

We walked towards the fleet center, our watches reading about 6:30. They still weren't letting people in the building, so I busied myself buying a million dollar progam... jeez. For the price they charge, you'd think that backstreet boys made the things themself.

I got back in the shuffle with Georgette, and immediatly started chatting with a girl name deana whom was in front of me. It amayzing how easy it is to just start conversations with backstreet fans. I learned about her long trips to other states just for the devotion she has to this group, her many concerts, and admired her for it.

The line was eventually let in, and we sifted through, I lost deana in the crowd, and just let the heard push me foward. Once we reached this destination, we were all stuck like cattle again, but I managed to talk with another backtreet fan, named Tarah, whom had seats near mine for the next nights show.

Finally they started ripping tickets, and we all trudged up the stair to the areana. Georgette and I were in search mode for our seats, and our mouths dropped at their location. They were right on the side of the stage, next to the catwalks on the left hand side. This would be a show I'd never forget.

Krystal performed first, and the show gives me goosebumps even the second time around. She has an amayzing voice, which lead my to buy her album on July 10, when it first came out. She has an amayzing voice, yet doesn't go by the typical pop standar look, and I admire her for that. She has her own groove, and thats one of the best traits a person could possibly have.

After her performance, I got in line with virtually everyone else, to get her autograph. But I also had another mission. After about twenty or so minutes, it had become my turn. I stumbled on my words, not because I was nessecarily nervous, but I lack talking skills for some reason. Maybe I was meant to write and just keep my mouth shot. Either way, I felt my cheeks reden, and as she signed my program, I nervously tried to ask her the question that would make my GOAL a hell of a lot easier to accomplish. And she said yes. I excitedly handed her the folded piece of paper that I had put so much thought in to, and prayed she was true to her word. After thanking her a few times, I decided to end my embarrassment, and just walk back to my seat, in time to see sisqo's finale.

After all the waiting, the backstreet boys finally came on, and I relished in the virtue of my close seats as Brian cautiosly strode up the cat walk. Georgette let out a low growl and breathed out "come here baby." It was as if he heard her, because imdediatly, he swung around and walked quickly away from our area. That was his last stride up our cat walk for the entire evening.

Nick came by numerous times, yet avoided my general area, and slapped high fives with some people in the area.

Howie had captivated me during "more than that", seeing as how he was quite close to my general area, I saw his little dance moves as the others just stood while they sang. Howie, jived, wagging his little toosh, and putting man kind to shame. This dance did not go un noticed by the stage crew bellow, whom were mocking his dance moves with exageration. Howie laughed it off good naturedly.I could have sworn I caught his eye a few times.

AJ, continues to take me by surprise. I'm glad all is going well with him. He acts now as though nothing is bothering him, and though that itself can't be entirely true, I can sense the general sparkle that atleast some of his spirit has been restored. He just managed to get caught up in the sorrows of his life, which is incredibly easy to do. But he's one of the few I know of that managed to try to climp out.

Kevin Kevin Kevin. Hard to believe he's to be a thirty year old man. Doesn't look a day over... twenty five. And, he has that luxiourious thick hair. All the men in my family develop a bald spot by the age of twenty eight. Kev's a fighter! Kevin, like Brian, was rather skidish on coming over to my side, but it's understandable, with Georgette drooling and all.

Nick has grown a lot from the Nick I knew of when I started liking there music. But he still has the same voice, and the same aloftness. I noticed stubble on his chin, which proves he's getting older. I also noticed how he kind of stepped out of the cordinated dances to like mingle with fans. I'm not sure if he was doing that for the fans benefit or if he doesn't like dancing. It's ok Nick... I don't like dancing either. Hell, I can't even walk straight.

Brian, though he managed to avoid us for the rest of the night, was still his absolute adorable self. I thuroughly enjoyed seeing him pick up a guitar and start playing. I think playing the instruments in a band establishes more acceptance, or maybe it's because it's another connection I seem to keep linking with him.

The harmonies were beautiful, and strong, as always, and the new song "drowning" was breathtaking. I noticed a few times when one of them began to sing, a little flatness...but that's just me being anal.. blame that on my critical chorus teacher and the fine tuned ears I have from my father, the perfect pitch trumpet player. But their imperfections only make me appreciate them more, because it proves they are real. And as long as their real, I can idolize them. And that I do, more than they, or even I, will ever know.

I sure hope Krystal gave one of them that note.

BSB

The Best Night Of My Life

Sept 8 was the Best night of my life…(I gotta tell ya before this is gonna be long cuz its like a WHOLE SUMMARY of my day with a review and stuff) That day I could not believe that I was going to be seeing the BACKSTREET BOYS in a few hours. I was kinda sad and gloomy the day before because I heard I wasn’t gonna be able to go because of some “difficulties”!! I was like in tears! BUT then good news came ya know and my mom actually asked me this, though she knew how much I LOVED the BACKSTREET BOYS! “Kim you want to go to the Backstreet Boys concert?!” Uhhhh “HELL YEA!!!” I had been counting down to when I would be seein them since the July one had been postponed. Finally my day had come. I had already planned ahead of time what I was going to wear which was pretty funny because my best friend, Vy had came over already (at 4) and was waiting for me. When she saw me still in PJs because of some gurlie stuff LoL she was like “Gurl you’re not even changed yet and you wanna go see BSB!!!” I laughed and rushed to my room, changing within less than five minutes. Well I thought that as soon as she came over we would leave for Boston (we had planned to get there at 2 to do some things like make signs and get stuff but due to some complications * cough cough my p’s * we couldn’t BOO HOOO) Anyways it turned out that we weren’t and couldn’t leave yet because we were waiting for my mom who was at my grams getting the laundry! OK?!?!?! ARGGGGG

FINALLY after what seemed like hours she came home and we left right away. During the whole ride we were blasting BSB and singing along and stuff. There was a car that we definitely knew was filled with BSB fans because they had signs like “Honk 4 BSB” and “Howie 4 President” My dad actually honked the horn…I was LIKE WOW!! I seriously was feeling a little panicky and fidgety because I thought we were going to be late and it was like 5:45 and we were moving like snails. Luckily we got there at 6 and there was the FleetCenter in view! I was like “OH YEA BABY!!!” My parents dropped us off and we were sooooo ready. We looked around and it was sooo fun to just see all those BSB fans right there! Waiting in line to get inside seemed like forever!!!! We were kinda bummed we couldn’t get an “early” glimpse of them but hey we were they weren’t we?! Anyways the line finally moved and we were inside!!! AHHHH me and Vy were running all around to try to get to our seats as soon as possible and let me tell ya some hilarious things happened along the way. As soon was we got there we were like “Where are we sitting?!” “Hmmm Loge7 Row 15 Seats 11 and 12.” We asked this man who was there and he said “Row 15” and pointed right near the stage and we were like “OMG RIGHT THERE OMG!” and we started to freak out. Then he said “Oh no I’m sorry you are all the way around there.” We were kinda bummed but took a pic of the stage. Vy had her camera put already but I couldn’t find mine! It wasn’t in my bag and I was totally freaking out! I was almost in tears! Vy then slapped me in the head, then pointed to where the pads were(you see we thought they were gonna take the cameras LoL) and underneath them was my camera!!! RELIEF! You see what BSB does to me?!?! HAHAHA….Well anyways we went around asking like 10 staff personnel going down the sections until we finally found our seats which had an entire and awesome view of the stage, I might add. OHHH YEA!!! We sat there for a while, afraid to leave because someone might steal our seats and we couldn’t risk that seeing as this was our FIRST CONCERT!!! Vy went to get food and then she heard screaming so rushed back in.

7:30 came and the lights went dark. Sisqo came out and performed a few songs. His outfits were cool and I snapped a few pics. His cousin came near us and I snapped like two pics even though I had no clue who he was! LoL…

INTERMISSION CAME which seemed like forever. SOOOO Vy decided to get food because she couldn’t resist the aroma of food in the air. We were munching on the chicken tenders and fries as fast as we could LoL because in case BSB might come on. As soon as we finished the last 2 pieces, the whole arena went dark.

SCREAMS WERE HEARD EVERYWHERE!!! And glowsticks shined bright. I was screaming like a crazy gurl along with Vy waving our glowsticks in the air LoL…The huge jumbotron lit up and we were going through space, zooming towards Earth which was being hit by asteroids. There were even special effects which “hit” the dancers on stage, knocking them down. Next thing you know the Boys come rising up and that’s when it went even more wilder. “We’ve been through days of thunder..” When I saw them, I was screaming and jumping up and down and slapping Vy, saying “I cannot believe that I am seeing BSB!!!!”(I did this during the whole show haha ) They started with “Everyone” leading in to “Larger Than Life”, “Don’t Want You Back” and sooooooo many more songs!!! It was like a flow of rushing water. The goods kept coming!!! You could feel the energy and power everywhere! Fans were singing along with every song and glowsticks were waving in the air. Bodies were moving and hearts were beating wildly.

There was a lil skit where it was 2050…and there was this lady reporter person. She was interviewing the guys who were “old men” by now. They all had gray hair and were wrinkly. Brian was bald with warts in a wheelchair, holding a basketball. Kevin with a long beard, wearing glasses I think. AJ, with a beard too, with glasses. THEY ALL HAD BEARDS I think! Nick had this lil belly and Howie’s hair was still long but gray…Nick was like “After Howie’s hip replacement 5 years ago, we went auditioning for a new member and I was surprised to see Joey Fatone there!” Howie was shakin his hips and Nick getting his groove on!

There was a point where Nick after a song, held up his hand to AJ saying, “Look in the fine print it says we can change on stage.” AJ said it was a good idea but Brian goes “No no we cant. This is a family show with parents and grandparents!” So they all jump into this chest that read “BSB wardrobe”one by one and next thing ya know we are in their “dressing room” (During this point me and Vy had gone down to the first row of our section cuz I knew from the beginning that they would be rising up from the lil spiral circle platform right in front of us why else would it be there?!?!) They were all changing and goofing around. Nick says that he got this gurl’s number and says how she could be a girlfriend and Howie and him start to argue. Then out of nowhere Nick grabs this inflatable girl doll! They are all checking themselves out in front of this mirror that is really the camera and they disappear. NEXT THING I know they come rising up on the lil platform and me and Vy go bezerk! THEY WERE SOOOOO CLOSE!!! SOOOO CLOSE YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND! LoL All these gurls come swarming down and we are like getting pushed and shoved. IT WAS WILD!!!!! Poor Vy she was like getting shoved to the side LoL I was kinda mad we didn’t make signs or get gifts cuz of my p’s grrrrrrr we had been planning this forever and when the day comes we get our plans messed up and there’s no more time!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR but it was all good baby! They sing “Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely” heading into “How Did I Fall In Love With You” During this time I and waving like crazy trying to get Nick’s attention who was right in front of us, sitting, with a serious but sexy look on his face! Vy is doing the same and we are waving sooo hard and screaming his name! The guys move around and AJ actually looks over at us and nods! I FLIP OUT! Snapping pics like crazy! And Nick finally looks over at us! THAT WAS LIKE OH MY GOD hehe

The bridge comes down and they sing “Time” All the guys go on the bridge and Kevin is the only one left. He stands there looking around and he actually smiles and waves to us! I got that on film but some gurl shoved me LoL don’t come out fuzzy! Kevin looked sooo good in those braids! And Brian with this bandanas! OH Nick and his spiky hair! WOW!!! LoL AJ looked awesome and Howie with his wavy hair…

Anyways, they thank us you know, each with their own lil speeches and intros of their band and dancers later. Brian starts first. He says that Boston is special because it was the first show where they had to postpone and all. AJ comes out, he stays the longest….and says that Boston will always be in his heart because this was where he realized that he had a problem and needed to get help. He also said that he wished that he could give each one of us a “hug and kiss” He was like asking where all this ladies were at and when he got to the middle section (MY SECTION OH LALA!!!) he was like “Where are all my sexy ladies?!” And we all scream with so much intensity! He got the loudest applause. Nick, Howie and Kevin then did their own part.

These were the songs that they sang “Everyone”, “Larger Than Life” ,“Not For Me”, “More Than That” (Howie was doin his lil dance and I was imitating him!), “Get Another Boyfriend”(I was doin the dance!), “The Answer To Our Life (It was sooo beautiful with the images!) ,“Don’t Want You Back”, Shining Star” (So cute with the stars around them when they were on the jumbotron) ,“I’ll Never Break Your Heart(at the end of this, AJ kinda exaggerated with this ending and Howie comes up saying “Yo man what was up with that “Ohhhh Ohhh, huh”?!) , “Everybody”, “I Want It That Way”, “All I Have To Give”, “Quit Playing Games With My Heart/As Long As You Love Me/If You Stay” ,“Yes I Will” (OMG When they sang this I was like AHHHH) ,“Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely” ,“How Did I Fall In Love With You”, “Time” ,“The Call(Dude AJ tricked us! He said this was the last song! LoL AJ and his yellow smiley shorts!! AHH CUTENESS!!!!!!), “What Makes You Different Makes You Beautiful” “Shape Of My Heart”(We kinda left after this thinking it was the last song to try to get a glimpse of the guys but quickly rushed back because I heard singin) and,“Drowning (This song amazed me! They were all on their lil pedestals and were soo high up with the smoke and lights.

The concert was soooo long and awesome!!! 3 hours!!!! I still could NOT believe that Boys had been that close to me and that I had ACTAULLY seen THEM in CONCERT!! LIVE!!! LoL TV was soooo not even close to what we saw that night! We screamed sooooo loud and hard that when the concert was over we could barely talk, when we did we sounded like chipmunks and we couldn’t really hear either but it was all soooo worth it!!!!! 4realness!!! We kept screaming “BSB PRIDE!!! “BACKSTREET BOYS ROCK!” and all this other stuff as we left the arena! I was still shakin with amazment, shock and total surprise! I SAW BSB!!! I SAW BSB!!! Got some souvenirs…hell yea baby.. I took soo many pics!!!! I was like tryin to divide the film up for the show hehe! I ran out at “The Call” ya know AJ kiddin us and all..I WISH I HAD BOUGHT MORE FILM!!! S’ok….I SOOO CANNOT WAIT FOR MY PICS! I would rate this concert an A++++++++++++++(and it keeps going) LoL IT WAS LIKE WOW!!!!…This night will forever be in my mind! THIS NIGHT MEANS SOOO MUCH TO ME!!!! Well I am out! Black and Blue Tour Boston, Mass 9/10/01

Wow....that is all i can say. This was my 3rd BSB concert in my life. I love them so much. I went to the Millennium tour and to the Black anc Blue tour on Saturday (9/8) and Monday (9/10). on Saturday I had balcony seats, but on the 10th i had floor seats. I have never had floor seats..so i was freaking out hehe. My friend Renee and I walked into the Fleet Center and started crying...we were so close to the middle stage and the bridge and the front stage!! Since youve all heard the details, im just gonna tell my point of view. Krystal came on...and she was awesome. She has an amazing voice. Then after about 10 minutes, Sisqo came out. He was cool!! Hes a cute performer...i liked the Thong Song!!! hahaha. Then, after about 15 minutes, the meteor shower started. Our seats were so close..i just started crying. When they were on the risers...it was just so amazing because they were actually right there...it wasnt tv, it wasnt balcony..they were right in front of me. All of their outfits were adorable. I loved when they sang Yes I Will and More Than That in the white suits. Since we knew when they would be going to the little stage, Renee and I walked back to stand in front of it. The STUPID security person wouldnt let us near it!!! i wanted to smack her...so instead i just stood in front of her face and cried and screamed as loud as i possible could when they came out. It was indescribable when i saw their faces coming out of the stage....20 feet away from me. I started crying and screaming like there was no tomorrow. I must have taken about 20 pictures of them just on that stage. Then the bridge came down...and i didnt realize how close we were untill they actually stood on it. because we couldnt get back to our seats...we were actually right in front of the bridge where it connects to the little stage. I had a sign that said "Happy Anniversary B-Rok and Leigh" and Brian say it!!!!!!!!!!! He looked at me and waved. BRIAN LITTRELL WAVED TO ME!!! HE KNOWS I EXIST!!! that was the best part of the whole night. Actually, all of the boys waved to us...first AJ he was so cute, then Nick wow was he hot!!!!! then Howie he was adorable he was waving to everyone!!!! then Brian omg omg omg omg thats all i can say, then Kevin. Kev loved us..he stook by us for like 1/2 the song! after that we went back to our regular seats and had a blast screaming our lungs out! At the end of the show...a lot of people didnt know that they were going to sing Drowning for us so they left. Well me and renee knew...so we ran up to some empty seats....in the 5th row!!!!!!!!! That is the prettiest song i have ever heard. The best part is that Boston (i think) was the first place to ever hear the full song and to see it live. That just made my night. They sang so beautifully and looked amazing. They looked like angels.

If anyone has any questions or just wants to talk...u can email me!! I love the BSB!!!! KTBSPA!!!!!!!

Before I start I must say that this concert was the best concert I've ever been too! If your planning on going then you'll have tons of fun! Anyway, I had 9th row floor, which I was pshyced about. They were really good seats, we were on the side of the floor though which wasn't the best, but still..it was great( and close!)! Anyway, Brian came on stage to introduce Krystal and everybody was going pshyco (including me! haha) Krystal came on and she did a wicked good job, I loved her...I actually bought her cd the next day..she's really talented and did a great job as an opening act! Sisqo came on next...he's sooo short!! He did a good job too I think, it got me pumped up because all the songs were familiar (esp. the thong song of course!) He did a really good job also and the choreography was great. Then the backstreet boys came on. Their introduction was great, with the world blowing up and everything, that was so cool. They came up from the stage and started their show. It was awesome, the best!! It was funny also which made it even better. They each had time alone on stage just talking. AJ said how boston holds a special place in his heart because its where he realized he needed help. He looked so good too may I add!! Howie talked about how he visited the childrens hospital. Actually my friend, who is realy sick right now, is there at the hospital right now, and she met howie! She was on the news too! and it showed howie signing her shirt! I'm so happy for her :) Brian talked about how they have never performed 5 times in a row anywhere else cept boston..that was cool too. Kevin and Nick I forget what they said but it was probably the usual ya kno! They did more songs, but this is when the best part comes! THe bridge started going down when they were singing on the second stage and my friend and I ran for the bridge. We got right next to it litteraly and we were soooo pshyced! They came across the bridge and they were sooo close it was amazing! We took pictures which turned out good (if anybody wants, email me and once i get them scanned I'll send um to ya!) Brian was waving too us and Kevin was looking at me for a second lol It was awesome! We went back to our seats and they finished up their concert. When we left the fleet center we went to find my mom who was parked near the place where the boys leave. We saw about 10 or 15 other girls standing there and we saw a van drive by and all the girls started yelling. We decided to go there to check it out. Another van left and we all decided to stand in front of it and block it. The dancers for the backstreet boys were in there along with AJ (my friend says) it was wicked cool! Some guy dancer was looking and me and I was looking at him and we were laughing at each other cuz i was scared the van was gonna run over me! Someone also took a picture from inside the van..that was cool. It was the best night EVER! they all looked soooooooo good, the best they ever had in my opinion. I'm glad they took a break too they deserved one for all the hard work they did! It was so much fun! :) KTBSPA!!!

Sunday, Sept. 9th Review of Backstreet Boys Concert at the Fleet Center in Boston, MA

Date: Sep 15, 2001

Before I talk about my second Backstreet Boys Concert experience, I would like to give all my prayers and sympathy to the families/friends who lost loved ones in today's terrorist attack. What a terrible nightmare America is living right now......

Thinking about the Backstreet Boys concert that my twin sister and I attended on Sunday, the 10th eases the pain of today. July 7th, 2001 was my first BSB concert ever and I thought that was phenomenal. Well, BSB beat all expectations at Sunday's show. Sunday's show in Boston was even better than the July 7th show. This concert was my sister's very first BSB concert, so she was very excited. We had pretty good seats: Section D, row 2 which is 14 rows from the main stage. We paid only $62 for these seats, which was a good deal (to us anyway). To our surprise, we were in for an amazing treat.

To make a long story short, we got to talk to an usher who is the father of a girl we go to school with. We thought it would be impossible to find him, we didn't even know what he looked like. Well, just our luck, we recognized a man who looked like he was related to the girl we go to school with. Sure enough it was him! He was in front of our row and he told us that he never really stays around on the floor level, but he did at this concert. Once we introduced ourselves and told him we go to school with his daughter, he was interested to talk to us.

After he helped some people find their seats, he came back and asked us, "Do you want to move closer?" We were speechless and just followed him. He brought us to Section A, row 9!!! That was just 9 rows from the main stage!!! He said we could stay there until people claimed the seats. Sure enough, people came and we had to go back to our seats. The usher that made us go back was mean and wouldn't listen to our story. Well, the usher we know came by again and asked us, "What are you doing back here?" So we told him our story and he moved us up yet again! This time he moved us up to ROW 7 from the stage! He is the nicest man, told us that he would keep an eye on us so that we wouldn't get moved. No one came to claim the seats so for the WHOLE SHOW, we were sitting in $124.50+ seats, for only $62, WHAT A DEAL!

We brought 3 cameras, one with a zoom lens!!! We took a total of 74 pictures, which hopefully will come out good (they better...) No guards cared, everyone was taking photos. All I can say is OMG, what a night that was. Krystal was great, she sings beautifully live and can sure play that piano! Sisqo was ok, just went too long. BSB finally came out at around 9PM and ended a little after 11PM. They were AMAZING! Nick and Howie were on our side the most. Howie's new hair cut makes him look even hotter! I was so close that you could see Nick's acne, the sweat pouring off him, and even his armpit hair, lol! When Nick did those pelvic thrusts, it just made me melt.... Of course all BSB took a turn coming to our side. A.J. was awesome and was much better physically/vocally than before. ALL of them were great. The dancing.... There are just too many words to describe how hot the dancing was. The singing was great too, as well as the BSB Band. Once the bridge came down, it was right over our head and we took a pic of each one of them, it was awesome!

Back in July, I was 34 rows from the main stage so I couldn't see all the dancing and pyro. I was, however, right by the second stage and the bridge came over my head as well. This time, I felt the heat from the explosions, every dance move, etc... I was so excited! Now, 2 days after the concert, my sister and I still can't believe what happened to us. Too bad that we couldn't catch any signed Howie bears or Brian's signed t-shirt since they didn't throw them towards our direction, but you can't have everything, hehe. This is definitely one show that I will always remember. The encore "Drowning" was a great finale. I will always KTBSPA and can't wait to buy the greatest hits album in October.

I went to the BSb concert on Saturday night and it was great. It even have a few funny parts, like when they were going to undress onstage and the interview from the future. It made me laugh. They performed all of thier songs very well.I also liked when A.J. was thanking all fans for the support and how Boston will always hold a place in his heart..My favorite part was when they were on the smaller stage. They were so close.Kevin waved to my boyfriend and I.My boyfriend even liked the show. It was well worth e wait and money..I got myself a Tour shirt. Only thing that would of made it more enjoyable is if I had backstage passes and was able to meet them and let them know how much I adore and respect them. IT WAS THE BEST TIME EVER!!!! I was suposed to return to caracas that saturday but the polane had some problems and we couldnt leave so we arrived at the Fleet Center at 8 o clock to see if there was someone selling tickets at the entrance. I was with my whole family ( 6 people ) and just when we arrived there was a guy selling some tickets... I couldnt believe I was really going to see them that close. Ive already gone to 2 more other concerts, one on Gothemburg, Sweden and the other one in my countri but I was too much far away from them and I couldnt almost see them; But on saturday I had them really close. I loved the show too much it was really amazing, specially when they walked over all of the fans. They are really GOOOOOD!!!!!!!

OMG now for my concert review!!!! OMG ROW 5 IS UNBELEIVABLE!!!! omg first of all when krystal was performing "my religion" well i have her CD and i know all her words and she saw me singing it and she smiled and she was so happy that i knew her song! then during Sisqo's performance...omg omg omg....during "Incomplete" i know the words to that song and "the thong song" and that's it but he saw me singing Incomplete and looked at me and i blew him a kiss and he kinda giggled and smiled at me and then you won't beleive it...during the thong song...he was looking for me and he THREW ME HIS NIKE RIST BAND AND I CAUGHT IT!!!!!!! omg!!!!!! i was soooo happy!!! it smells like his colonge! hehe!

but anyways now to the good stuff!! when they were rising out of their little potium things in the very beginning AJ's was right infront of me and i was mouthing to him "I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!" and he looked at me nodded his head and smiled!!!!! omg!!! then during the break from everyone to larger than life howie was right infront of me in this postion that he was suppost to hold and i was mouthing i love you howie and blowing him kisses and waving and he was cracking up at me!! cuz he couldn't move and he mouthed "i see you!" OMG!!!! haha!!! ok then i had a sign i made that said "Brian! wave 2 me! i <3 U!" and during "Yes I will" Brian was sitting right infront of me and omg i was like this is my chance! so i jumped out into the middle of the isle and opened my sign and he saw it and waved and pointed at me for like a minute!!! i was jumping up and down screaming and crying and he was laughing at me!!!! haha!! during "more than that" AJ's part on the bridge thing was right infront of me and he saw me crying cuz that is my fave. song and i was like spazzing out and he curled over his bottom lip like making a sad but really cute face and he signaled for me not to cry!! i was like AWWWWW!!!!! he's so sweet!! OMG and you know that bridge that comes down from the ceiling...it was right over me....no joke. OMG they were like 5 feet away from me at one point!!! i was trying to get AJ's attention cuz his very cute butt was facing me but he wouldn't turn around!! lol! so i threw an orange beanie toy at him and it hit him in the head and he was like "who did that" and i was like "ME!" pointing to myself and he mouthed something like "what was that for!" but i guess he remembered my face from when he sang "more than that" so he was like laughing at me cuz i hit him and he winked at me!!!!! and AJ blew me and my friend soooo many kisses it wasn't funny cuz my friend made a sign that said "PLEASE BLOW US A KISS BSB WE LOVE YOU!" and everytime we looked at AJ and he looked at us he blew us a kiss!!!!!! it was incredible!!! then omg you won't beleive it....they sang "shape of my heart" and they didn't bow and my friend was like ok let's go and i was like no...it's not over they didn't bow this time and 5 sec later...they came rising up on the same potiums as they did for the very beginning of the show AND THEY WERE SINGING "DROWNING"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes that was the encore!!!!! omg omg omg!! i was hystericle!!! they were looking at everyone's expressions to see if they liked the song and kevin looked at me and i was like flipping out crying cuz it's such a beautiful song and he smiled cuz he knew i really liked it!! it was an amazing concert!!! they really do love us and they really do have an amazing time performing. I was really disappointed when the boys had to reschedule their three shows in Boston in July but on Saturday Sep. 8, they were just larger than life. It was my first bsb concert ever and i was thrilled like everyone else was. I sat in the back on the balcony but i could see them very well. I made it in time to see Sisqo perform. He was awesome. After seeing Sisqo's performance, i just thought who could top that? The backstreet boys did. I've been a fan from the beginning and will always be. I was up and dancing when i heard the first song come on (it was 'Everyone')They did such a great job with the show and they were so good(looking) that it made me cry when they were done with their last song. I didn't want it to end but unfortunately it did. I can't wait untill their next tour cuz once i hear that Boston's on list, i'm definitely going to be the first in line for tickets. And trust me with fans like us, they will definitely have another tour :)

Oh my god! Are the only three words that can express my feeling of the Backstreet Boys concert! It was my first concert, so I didn't really know what to expect, but let me tell you... it was MUCH more than I expected. First, my best friend and i made sure to get there wicked early just to be like practically in the same building as them. OMG, that was almost too much for me to handle. Well, anyways it took us what seemed like eternity to find our seats, but we did find them (thank god). Our seats were probably 100x closer than we thought they were... WOW. We thought we had like nosebleed seats, so we brought binoculars and crap like that. There were wicked nice ppl sitting next to us and like practically as obsessed as we were... lol. Anyway, we talked with the people about the Backstreet Boys (what else??) for about an hour. We stalked up on a TON of sugar (our dinners... lol). Suddenly, the lights dimmed...

Then, Brian walks on stage. I mean the Brian Thomas Littrell. That was WAY too much for me to handel. My eyes burst into tears and I could not stop screaming, even after everyone was quiet. I had one hand on my binoculars (seeing practically every little detail on Brian... lol) and the other hand waving in the air and me screamig the whole time... lol. So he talked about Krystal and stuff. Then, Krystal comes out. She was really wicked good, much better than Britney Spears... lol. I'm gonna buy her CD now. After Krystal there was a little break and some peeps went to get her autoggraph but we couldn't find her so we just waited for Sisqo.

Sisqo came on. I guess he was pretty good, he could dance wicked well... I'll tell ya that much. I guess i was getting kinda impatient for BSB... if u know what I mean!!!

Then there was another break where we got T-shirts and programs and stuff. LOL we spent like a year's worth of babysitting money on BSB stuff in like 5 min, but it was worth it. Then, the sponser people came on stage and said something about winning prizes or something. They said that you could win the second half of a Pop-Tart they supposidly took the 1st half of. I didn't believe a word they were saying and I didn't win but OH WELL. After that, they showed advertisements on the big TV screens. The first one was of Pop-Tarts and everyone had so much energy they were like "OMG!! Look, a Pop-Tart!!" and stuff like that. Then, they showed an I-Zone camera commercial and they had I-Zone pix of all the boys and everyone would scream when their fave boy came up.

FINALLY: The moment I have been waiting for for 173 days was about to come! They started the meteor thing and I won't get into details cuz its the same w/ every concert. They did "everyone" first and it was wicked good. Well, I'll get to the best part of the concert. At precisly 9:34 pm during "Quit Playing Games (with my heart)", Brian waved at us. LOL, we were screaming and jumping up and down for like 5 min. yelling "Brian" at the top of our lungs but he waved at us!!! The Brian Thomas Littrell waved at US!! He waved at our section like 6 more times too, which was awesome. At the end of the show, A.J. did his thing "oh, we only have two more song left..." So, they did "the call", which was awesome then "Shape Of My Heart". A lot of peeeps left after that, but we were gonna stay there until we were litterally forced to leave. Then, they came back out and sang (i think, im not sure tho) their new song "Drowning" and that just took my breath away, it was so beautiful. That was the end of the best night of my life:(.

Then, we wanted to get some of the I-Zone signs that were hanging all over the arena but security yelled at us about 5 times and then we jjust gave up. When we were walking to the car, we heard that they were in a red van, but I'm not sure if that is true, so don't take my word on that.

Thank you to the Backstreet Boys for making September 9, 2001 the best night of my life. Congradulations to A.J. for 67 days!! And mostly, thank you Dad for getting us those tickets. And thanks to my grandparents who gave us their binoculars.

I LUV BSB

Boston, September 8th show

Okay, I don't know if anyone remembers, but quite a while back, I wrote a review for the show in Hartford. I didn't give it the best review only because I had a really awful time that concerned nothing to do with the show itself. Actually, this women in front my mother and I was extremely rude to us, and she refused to sit down(this was in the handicapped section, where you were supposed to be seated anyways) even though my mother couldn't see. She was being very inconsiderate to us, and other kids behind me. So that really did make our night pretty crumy.

Anyways, I just went to the first show in Boston since AJ's recovery. (so glad he is better! love ya sweetie!) My mom and I were lucky enough to get 6th row seats, and it was really the best show I'd ever seen. Not just because the we were up close, but when I went this time, I wasn't distracted by anyone like I'd been before. I really got to watch the show, and the boys, once again, pulled off another awesome show!

The last time I went, I also said that the show was a more mature preformance, not really appealing to little kids. However, my opinion has completely changed. The boys were really energetic, and they interacted with the fans(Brian pointed at me! hehe) And it isn't like they changed the show or anything... But anyways, it was a really great show, and I hope to go see them again and again and again and etc... And I won't say anything about what happened during the show, I have to keep it a secret for all the people who haven't gone yet. If you are going, I can promise that you will love it! And if you don't have tickets, GET THEM!!

the Septmeber 9th Boston concert

I went to the concert on september 9th in Boston Ma, and it was great. first Brian came out and introduced Krystal. i was shocked when he came outto introduced Krystal. she sang about 5 songs. i only know "Im Supergirl". she wasn't bad at all. a funny thing happened when she was singing while playing the piano, her microphone kept on slipping. then after her there was a ten minute intermission, and Sisqo came out to sing. i honestly couldn't understand a word he was saying. he also performed with a new rap group that he made. then THE BACKSTREET BOYS Came out and the crowd went nuts. they sang "everyone"," larger than life", and "not for me" then the boys individually introduced themselves. first brian came out and said that Boston MA is the only place on earth that the backstreet boys have performed 5 concerts at in the same tour. then aj came out and said that boston holds a very special place in his heart because back in july he did something in boston that he should have done a long time ago and that was admit that he needed help. then nick came out, i think that the boston fans like nick the most because he recieved the loudest ovation. he said that he loves boston, then howie came out and asked us to scream as loud as we could( and we did), and then kevin came out and said that boston must have some of the most pationt fans around. then they sang more songs but i cant remember the order. then on the screen they showed a movie of them in 2050 and they were old me, and in the movie nick mentioned that while"Old Howie" had a hip replacement they had try outs for a new member and they said that Joey Fatone( from NSYNC) actually showed up. everyone laughed. then later while they sang time A.J. was crossing the bridge and he got pelted with silly string from the audiance. he was so over whelmed that he couldn't sing his part.after they sang ill never break your heart and before they sang Don't Want you Back Howie said that a.j. has benn lying to boston for 8 years( because a.j. sings the last part saying ill give you all of me honey thats no lie)a.j. was laughing so hard he couldn't finish the staged argument. overall the show was great and i'll never forget it.

I went to the 9/8/01 B&B tour in Boston, and it was absolutley amazing, it was well worth the wait, and A.J. said to us that Boston will always hold a place in his heart, because it was where he realized he had a problem. They were all very hype and they show was better then I expected, we got great pictures but they're not developed yet. The best part is, is on 9/9/01 we didnt have tickets but we just decided to go down to Boston to see if we could meet them, because last time they were here we only got to meet Brian, Howie and Kevin, and my favorite is A.J., but so anyhow we met Sisqo at his hotel he was very nice and talk with my friend and I for like a half an hour, and then we waited at the new Ritz Carlton in Boston for soooooo long then Finally at 5 am in strolls A.J. Mclean, i could've died it was very quick but he was nice and we got a pic and then i was all set. Oh yeah and on the night i went on the 8th they didnt do drowning, but i guess they did it at the end of the show on the 9th and all the people i talked to siad it was amazing, but I'm going again tonight so hopefully i'll get to see it tonight, so wish me luck everyone and I'll write a review tomorrow.

First off this was the BEST concert I have ever been too and definately the best BSB concert! Everything started where my dad was having heart problems so we weren't going to be able to go to this show in July so everything worked out good for us when it got post-poned. Then I decided to send back my highhhhh up tickets and get our money back and buy floor ones for the same price. They were the last row on the floor right before this aisle and it turns out RIGHT next to the mini-stage! My friend and I started totally spazzing when we realized how close we were going to be to them and the bridge was right next to us too! We were freaking out! Sisqo came on and they stared 5 minutes early and he did a bunch of songs but I don't think too many people cared since not many of us knew all his songs but he was good and Krystal wasn't there so I was disappointed. Then BSB came on and they did suchhhh an amazing job! The crowd was totally getting into it and they were just awesome! AJ thanked Boston and said it would always hold a special place in his heart since that's where he realized he had a problem and all of that. And when they got to the mini-stage we were in shock that they were only a few feet away from us! I took TONS of pitures which will be up on my website (http://www.geocities.com/littlehouseofbsb/index.html) so go there and keep checking for them! I got incredible pictures! And we were close to them when they walked on the bridge!!! And I started waving my hand like a maniac when no one else was and Howie was looking at me and waved! It was just so awesome! I knew that they did The Call and claim that that was their last song and I also knew that their real last song was Shape of My Heart so after they sang that and disappeared but the lights and music didn't stop I knew something was up. They popped back up and sang Drowning and it was incredible!!! It is a great song and I can't wait for it to be on the radio and stuff!!!! If you want more details or anything at all e-mail and please visit my site!!!

Backstreet Boys Black & Blue Tour Boston, MA 9/8/01

Wassup Backstreet fans?!! I attended last nite's Backstreet Show (it was the first show they postponed back when they announced AJ's illness) on Saturday, September 8 and it was great!! Backstreet was definitely Back and showing love for all their Boston fans. I'll do my best to give a full review of the show but you'll have to forgive me if I leave anything out.

We got there right on time at 7:30pm the showtime and Sisqo was already on stage! He's doing a great job of keeping the crowd pumped up right up until the last song. I was also amazed to see pyrotechnics for his performance especially during "The Thong Song." After the opening act (I think I missed Krystal's performance, I'm not sure :( ) a few announcers come on stage and give out Polaroid I-Zone cameras and some autographs from the boys, which i thought was pretty cool. As I looked around me in the Fleet Center amongst a full crowd, all the fans seemed pretty psyched to be there and oh so friendly! I luv BSB fans. Anyway.. throughout the concert, the scenery and the lighting effects were the best I've ever seen and I couldn't keep my eyes off the big screen especially during "Everyone," "Everybody," the first two songs. The guys were looking spectacular and I could feel their energy and their happiness to see us Boston fans once again. Each came out to thank us and the fans gave the warmest welcome to AJ who said he would like to give all of his fans a 'hug and a kiss' if he could. The boys performed all the songs off their new album except for two I think and then a mix of a few oldies but goodies of "All I Have to Give," and "Quit Playin' Games."

The best part I must say is when they "magically" appeared into the middle section of the crowd. I won't reveal how they did it just incase some haven't seen the show yet. But it was the most amazing thing I've ever seen! I shrieked sooo loudly that the guy in front of me (with ear plugs mind you) turned around and gave me a weird expression. I apologized though hehe. Me and my best friend couldn't help but to constantly wave at Brian, Nick, and AJ cuz they were facing our side of the audience and snapped as many pics as we could. Suddenly a long bridge glided over the fans with the floor seats and they continued to croon out "Time," as many threw gifts and basketballs up on the stage for Nick and Brian.

I was overwhelmed with the beautiful backdrops of the big screen and also what stood out was the charming charisma of the boys and their enthusiasm to see all their fans and wave whenever possible. Their voices were top quality and better than I've ever heard. AJ, Howie, Kevin, Brian and Nick gave numerous thanks to us before they left the stage and also shoutouts to each of their charities. And of course they introduced all their funky dancers and musicians behind them who jammed out the tunes.

My favorite performance was of "More Than That" and I definitely heard the entire audience singing along and also "Answer to our Life" and "Shape of My Heart." Lastly, they did a sweet encore after their last song which was the show stopper. I can't believe I saw them so up close eventhough my seats were in Loge 5. If any other fans out there were also at the show, feel free to mail me and sorry if I got any info wrong. hehe. KTBSPA...

I can't wait to develop my rolls of film! Maybe I'll post them here if I get any good ones. Peace and Thanks. xoxo
