LOVE IT BUT DOESNT BEAT BSB

I think that Nick's new album is really good but I think he's better with the 4 other guys singing with him... it seems like there is something missing in his album... i love all the songs though he did a great job writing some and singing them...you can tell he still loves what he does... the other guys go do their thing and he is still involved with the music industry..i love it!!

My Review of 'Now or Never'

I thought the title of the album was very apropriate. Now I'm not a rock person at all so when I say I like this CD - ALOT, I really mean it. The tracks are just very fun and the lyrics aren't deep enough to swim in but Nick just says flat out what he means. My favourite tracks here would have to be 'Blow Your Mind' and 'I Stand For You'. I think they made a mistake in releasing 'Help Me' as the first single though (just my opinion). As someone else here said, the music took me back to the 80s sometimes. 'Is It Saturday Yet?' simply oozes Nick while 'Miss America' shows us a whole new (hmm, wouldn't be too sure about this!) side of Nick. It's a CD I'm glad I bought (but it's too expensive!) and just a note to Nick: on the next album, it would be really nice if you remember your international fans too :), I'm gettin jealous here! Lol! I like how they mixed in Mr. Vegas with all that rock in 'Girls of U.S.A.' though. Overall, I like the CD very much. I don't expect it to win a Grammy or anything but it's good for a first, not to mention solo, effort. Always knew you had it in you baby! *Muah*

Ok...since somehow when I was looking at previous reviews, mine was not on there, so I thought that I'd give you another review! *LOL* Here gose...ok...
HELP ME-Definatly different from the Backstreet Boys sound, but at the same time, similar....
MY CONFESSION-This is my mom's favorite song! *LOL* I like how he says; "I wanna breathe you, I wanna feel you near..." I think that's so sweet! If a guy said that to me,....I'd be his! *LOL*
I STAND FOR YOU-This is a cute song....I like the little rap he dose in the middle of it....
DO I HAVE TO CRY FOR YOU?-I love this song! I sang this song at my school's Christmas tallent show! *LOL* I just love how he puts his whole heart and soul into this song...the man can really sing!!! *as if we already didn't know that...*
GIRLS IN THE U.S.A-Cool song! Kinda sounds like a Def Leppard song...but I like them, so it wouldn't faze me at all.....! *LOL*
I GOT YOU-Oh this is a sweet song! I like his voice range in this song....I love the part-"I want to thank you for all the things you've done, but most for choosing me, to be the one." That is just sooo sweet!
IS IT SATURDAY YET?-This song is a little quirky, but I like it...."My Nintendo's on the floor..." describes Nick perfectly! At first when I heard this, I thought that he was slammin his family, but the more I listened to it, the more I understood....*LOL*
BLOW YOUR MIND-This is my favorite song on the album! I always blast my stereo when I turn my CD on to this song! My mom keeps insisting that this song is about Willa, but I dunno....Maybe it is....if you really listen to it, it sounds like it....
MISS AMERICA-Ooh, when I first heard this song, I said to myself; "He wouldn't have to ask me twice to take it off!" *LOL* I think y'all can agree with me when I say that!
I JUST WANNA TAKE YOU HOME-He could take me home....!! *LOL* I love this song...."There I am, playing nice, meeting your parents..." *LOL* That's great!
HEART WITHOUT A HOME (I'LL BE YOURS)-This song discrbes me kinda....I've had a lot of problems with guys, and when I heard this song, it made me feel better, like there is someone out there for me....
WHO NEEDS THE WORLD?-My dad is a big Beatles nut...*So am I* and he said this sounds like a Beatles song...*if you've ever heard any of The Beatles' songs you'd agree....* I love the ending....very Beatle-ish...
All in all, I loved the album....I knew that I'd love it no matter what b/c I love Nick, and support anything he or the Boys do....I just can't wait for the next BSB album....I've been a fan since I was 12...*I'll be 18 next month 4 days b/4 Nick!!! ^_~" * So if you haven't bought "Now Or Never" yet, PLEASE GO GET IT! It's worth the 18 or 19 dollars....TRUST ME!!!!

I think Nick Carters first solo album, Now or Never was really awesome! It was a different style for him, but I absolutely loved it. I think it's great that he is achieving his dream, and that he doesn't let sales or competition get him down. Even if he doesn't do the best, we all know that he's the best.

Now or Never of Nick Carter is such a wondrous album....
It consist of songs that is mostly written by Nick Carter, mostly slow rock, with a little bit of pop mood and love song. what i like most of the album is it's ability of capturing the heart and mind of the listeners...
At first, i was shocked of Nick's mood of music but then it wasn't bad after all it's his real side.
hope you guys enjoy his album!!! for me, it's really great specially who needs the world, i stand for you, and a lot more..

I LOOOOVE Nick's new CD!! It's awsome! He sounds soooo sweet and the songs are great! I love Nick as a solo artist and as a Backstreet Boy. I hope the group makes lots more cds,and the same for Nicks solo career!

Oh my god, nick's album is fantastic!!! all the songs are really really really goods, each of them sounds different and it's so cool!!! the music is great, he sings great, I LOVE IT! but it's so unfair that the album has not the success it deserves, for all the people who do no buy it YOU HAVE TO GO BUY IT RIGHT NOW!!!!!! so gooooooooooo!!

Now or Never is alright. Rock music isn't something I listen to all the time, but I have to say Nick's album grew on me. I love My confession, Miss America, and Blow You Mind.

Nick did a good job singing on his own, but he didn't branch far off from the Backstreet tree. In my opinion, Nick's solo sound was too close to pop than anything else. I respect him as an artist, but was a little disappointed at the lack of his independence. I think for someone who has been in the music industry as long as he has, he should've taken a bigger risk on his album. If I were to choose the better album between Justin Timberlake and Nick Carter I would have to choose Justin. I'm still a fan of Backstreet and Nick, but I believe Justin took the bigger risk. Hopefully Nick will take another shot and completely change his sound.
