In Seattle WA, KUBE 93 FM, a popular local radio station, had a promotion for free Backstreet Boys tickets for the concert at the Tacoma Dome. Hundreds of fans showed up to try their luck. KUBE had a helicopter drop 100 envelopes filled with either free movie passes, gift certificates or BSB concert tickets. As soon as they were dropped, fans went on a rampage. People were trampled, got their hair pulled, were kicked, shoved and punched. By the time it was over, one fan had suffered a broken leg and a few other had bruises and bloody noses.
