Hey Fellow BSB Fans:

I am an older BSB Fan ... 30-something (the Hubby thinks I am obsessed)! He's right!!! I really got into the Backstreet Boys when I saw their PPV Special in February. The Hubby won't admit it ... but he likes their music

too. After the PPV Special I was so hooked. I went out and bought their first 2 CD's. I had to listen to every song over and over so I could memorize the words. The concert was being showed for a week on the Satellite so everytime my Hubby came home I was watching them. Even those these Fab 5 are gorgeous ... they can also sing. What I like is that they sound the same in concert as they do on their albums.

Then I got obsessed with all of you out there with your sites that I just was so overwhelmed with what you were writing about them and all that you know about them too. WOW!! But I do have to say the BACKSTREET.NET is the BEST!!!

The Hubby and I went Cuba for our holidays in April and guess who was on the on the only music channel they had ... yep BSB! He just could not get away from them. We even have me in front of the TV and my husband filming me to show my family that BSB was even in Cuba with us ... it was their PPV Special.

My husband wants to know how long I will be obsessed with them ... well, I told him until I can or can't get tickets to their concert. I am working on it though!! It's sort of the last concert before we have kids. I am trying to persuade him to take me ... we will see, he tells me! I have even gone so far as to write People Magazine to nominate KEVIN to be considered for the next issue of PEOPLE'S MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD! He's my fav ... probably because he is the closest to my age. If he does get into the next issue or any for that matter, please let him know that I nominated him ... THANKS. I have taped the SNL episode and other things they have been on. Am I hooked on them or what?!?!

Enough of this ... now for my REVIEW:

They start off with LARGER THAN LIFE. It was great to see them sing this "live". The dancers were a nice touch because it is such an upbeat song. Reading other reviews, people aren't too impressed with the shoulder pads.

It doesn't matter what they wear ... they are still HOT(you are too honey .... that was just a little plug to my hubby so he doesn't fell neglected).

I think Nick looks just fine. He's still a baby ...leave him alone about his weight. Now AJ with his butterfly clips ... he looks cute but I guess he didn't have time for a haircut and needed his bangs out of his face. Now Brian does need a trim but he still is a CUTIE. It was really great to see Kevin and Howie showed more. They need more spotlight. All in all, this is great song. Tamer than BACKSTREETS BACK but could still be another Top 10 (and we all know that this will be their next song to be released soon).

They then sing one of their greatest songs QUIT PLAYING GAMES WITH MY HEART. Always a favourite! Love the moves too. Just love when AJ belts those notes out. They then go into AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME. I love when Brian and Kevin sing together. Then the male dancers bring out the chairs for the boys and all 10 do the chair routine. It's great!

The boys talk individually about touring and about them being together. I really believe they are sincere about what they say (not rehearsed). They show the segment on Brian and Nick playing basketball and talk about how they don't get a chance to have downtime for themselves. But they just love what they are doing. For Nick, who wasn't a ball player when BSB first got started ... he's good NOW!

They come back to the concert and sing my all time favourite ... ALL I HAVE

TO GIVE! The hat routine and all with the male dancers. (If I ever meet these guys this is the song I want them to serenade me with.)

The camera goes back to them individually at the MTV Studio. The boys talk about how they all met. They are all so in sync (sorry) about each other. Eventhough we know how they met it is still nice to hear over and over again.

Then we watch Kevin go horsebackriding in Central Park. This guy looks so hot in his chaps.

BSB then sings SHOW ME THE MEANING. I just love this song. I really hope this is the next song they release after LTL. Not just because they dedicate this to Dennis on the new album but because it is such a fabulous song. They harmonize so incredibly. I love the fact that Kevin and Howie have solo parts in it. Howie sounds so awesome during his solo (it gives me shivers everytime I hear it). The female dancers have got to go. The guys alone would be better. What can I say ... AJ has this awesome voice. And Nick made some girls day by going down to the audience and singing to her while holding her hand. They then go into I'LL NEVER BREAK YOUR HEART. The camera crew shows the audience a lot singing the words.

We then go on a tour with AJ and Howie for a shopping spree. They talk about each of their fashion styles. Howie is hilarious with his commentary while he is filming with his own video camera. AJ buys a new hat that actually does look good on him. However, I love the cowboy hat he was wearing during SNL. AJ does a little dance routine while buying a pair of running shoes ... he's so cute! They go to an antique store ... AJ sees this unique fan and tells Brian that 'this is the perfect fan'. These guys are so down to earth. That's why we love them. Howie finally buys something. They even buy stuff for the other guys because they 'miss them'!

Then of course a BSB concert could not be without ... BACKSTREETS BACK! This is also with the dancers. I think that the up-tempo songs are really great with the dancers. I am not too hip with these vest/purse things that Brian and Kevin are wearing ... but that's how fads start. The audience is so cool how they copy the moves to the song while the boys are performing it. If I did that I'd have a coronary right in the middle of a move.

They then sing their new song on the air ... I WANT IT THAT WAY. I just love to hear Howie and Kevin sing. Kevin looks so hot in the IWITW video.

We then watch the boys bowl with split screens of each of them talking about being about a Backstreet Boys. These guys look like so much fun to hang out with. I won't tell you who wins the game. Each of them advise how kids need to finish school. Nick, Howie and AJ realize they had to make sacrifices for touring by having turors instead of being in school. But totally believing in finishing school. They talk about their families which gets them talking about the PERFECT FAN ... this ends up being the last song of the concert.

This song is just so beautiful!!! I believe it is the Boys Choir of Harlem that joins them in singing this "perfect" song. ( If this is not the correct choir name I apologize).

All in all, I am an older BSB fan and I am proud of it! These guys make fabulous music and I wish them nothing but success during their Millennum Tour and hope that they are around a long time.
