Backstreetmania: Soon we'll finally get to see that Backstreet Boys TV commercial we've been aching for. To entice us to do all our back-to-school shopping at Sears, the BSBs have shot a 30-second clip for the store that finds the fab five being chased through streets, restaurants, and even double-decker buses by a screaming mob of female fans (what a stretch). And if you think it sounds like a take-off on the Beatles flick A Hard Day's Night, you're exactly right! The commercial is a total tribute to the music-movie classic, and it was directed by Nigel Dick, the guy behind Britney Spears' videos as well as Ricky Martin's new clip for "She's All I Ever Had." If that's not enough, we've heard that the commercial is going to give info about a BSB sweepstakes that will include a chance for five fans to win a $2000 shopping spree with their favorite Backstreet Boy and a trip for four (plus front-row seats) to the last night of the group's U.S. tour in Tampa, Florida. Okay, so the shopping spree has to be at Sears ... but hey, if Howie D. took me on a date to, like, McDonald's, I'd die happy.
