(Warning: The following is a review from A MALE, yes a guy, BSB fan. Don't die on me, please)

-Millenium- is honestly one of the best albums I have ever heard.

That is a straight forward summary of what I am going to say. It is an amazing album, with an amazing track list, vocal arrangement, and heart-stopping music.

"Larger Than Life," is an awesome way to start the album. An upbeat song to start the album out is dedicated to us, the fans, who have supported them and urged them on in every single project. Brian and Nick and AJ dominate the song as they normally do and do an amazing job.

"I Want It That Way," was the first single from this album and really an awesome song. The only complaint is that it makes little sense unless you REALLY think about it. The demo version of the song was much better, but this song is still amazing, though not the best on the album.

"Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely," is a song that is simply awesome. This is a wonderful ballad with great music. Each member gets their own solo (yes, KEVIN!) much like in the above song. Kevin adds so much to this song. They never should have held him back. He has wonderful potential to make it big in the Adult Contemparary scene. Also Howie D adds a lot to the song, with his falsetto voice.

"It's Gotta Be You," uses the same bass track (I believe) as "Everybody" did and well, since that song was wonderful, you can only imagine where this one goes. It is a three minute upbeat love song, which makes it rank up there with "Everybody" and surpasses the other dance song, "Larger Than Life."

"I Need You Tonight," was originally called "Heaven In Your Eyes" and in my opinion, it should have stayed that. As good as the album version of this song is, when you hear (not necessarily SEE) Nick sing this at a concert, it is better. He puts a lot more energy in to at concerts. This song is no different than the version sang -A Night Out With the Backstreet Boys- with the exception of the chorus and the addition of the other boys. This song is still one of my favorite ballads, but the name change was unneccesary (sp).

"Don't Want You Back," contains a little of the "I Want You Back" feel, except the meaning of the song is ENTIRELY changed. This is easily the best song on the album, mixing the soulful music with some dance moves to and an homage to "Everybody." I am not sure if this is about a fan like been reported, but if it is, it is to a "non-believer." (inside joke for NKOTB fans)

"Don't Wanna Lose You Now," is a slow ballad, which I really can't say much about cause I normally skip over it. However, still very good.

"The One," is a great song when you feel like moving around lightly. While not as dancy as "It's Gotta Be You" or as slow as "Show Me The Meaning..." it falls in the middle and is one of the best tracks.

"Back To Your Heart," is one of the finest slow songs I have ever heard. How anyone could write something like this is amazing! And it was my main man, KEVIN! Yeah! One of the best songs on the album.

"Spanish Eyes," comes next and this is where we REALLY hear Howie D. It proves that high voice is worth something. I am sure, after this album, that Max Martin will make sure that Kevin and Howie are given a lot more parts. This is one of my faves.

"No One Else Comes Close," is a great love song. Perfect for a night where you wanna hold your loved one close. That's all I can say.

"The Perfect Fan," was most likely influenced by Boyz II Men's "A Song For Mama," because of the content and the fact that boys owe a good deal to the four guys from Boyz II Men. This is a completely different kind of song. Not a ROMANTIC song, unless you plan on romancing your mother (get help, please, if that applies to you), but a love song, non-the-less. Kevin and Howie again prove why they never should have been held back, but we do lose a little without Nick's voice. Oh well. One of my favorites also.

Overall this album is THE album of the year and is **** stars out of ****!
