Well, after seeing other fan reviews, I thought I would add my two cents to mix. During final exam week in December of 1998 I decided to take a break from studying and see what was on the TV... I just happended to flip to MTV and wouldn't you know it, it was BackStreet TV day... I had heard about these guys, and I figured I would tune in... I was pretty much hooked from that day on...

On my way home for Christmas Break I made a quick stop at the music store to purchase anything having to do with the BackStreet Boys... on the day that Millennium was released I was at the music store before it opened... It was well worth the wait... Millennium is an album that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, male or female. From songs like "Larger Than Life", a very nice and rarely seen tribute to the fans, to "Don't Want You Back", a song that I personally would not want to be on the recieving end of, you can really get your body moving...

Then there are those wonderful ballads like "Back To Your Heart" and "Don't Want To Lose You Now" that are so heartfelt and touching that you swear they really are singing it to you... And then there is possibly my favourite song on the album, "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely"... the emotions in this song are so real that you can't help but feel the pain yourself, and I think it expresses something that many of us who have experienced loss have felt, but could never really put into words...

So there you have it, a fan's take on Millennium... even if you aren't a fan of the BackStreet Boys, I highly recommend this album...
