HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - The Backstreet Boys' "Millennium" was the bestselling album in the nation for the fifth consecutive week with more than 338,000 copies of the disc going home with fans, according to sales data released Wednesday. Sales of the sophomore disc by the Jive Records ensemble slipped by 33,000 copies over the previous chart, but they still bested by 25,000 copies the fifth-week sales totals of the No. 2 disc, Ricky Martin's self-titled English-language debut for C2/Columbia Records. "Mirrorball," the latest from Sarah MacLachlan, opened at No. 3 and logged an impressive first-week take of more than 221,000 copies. It was the singer's highest career debut.
