Despite an impressive return to the charts by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Backstreet Boys continue their stranglehold at the nation's retailers, scoring the best-selling album for the fourth consecutive week. The group's ``Millennium'' moved another 371,000 units to hold on to the No. 1 spot, according to SoundScan figures obtained from industry sources. ``Millennium'' has already sold 2.6 million records since its May 18 release.

Latin sensation Ricky Martin continues his winning ways as his self-titled English-language debut holds at No. 2 on sales of 310,000 units. And the Red Hot Chili Peppers' ``Californication'' debuts at No. 3, selling 189,000 units in its first week.

Teen queen Britney Spears and her ``Baby One More Time'' hold strong at No. 4 for the second week. Spears' debut album sold 148,000 units for the week ending June 13.

Rapper Ja Rule's ``Venni Vetti Vecci'' falls two positions to No. 5, moving 120,000 units, while Kid Rock's ``Devil Without a Cause'' continues to sell big, moving up four spots to No. 6.

Shania Twain's ``Come on Over'' remains a fixture in the top 10, holding at No. 7 on sales of 107,000 units, while the soundtrack to ``Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me'' jumps into the top 10 at No. 8 on sales of 104,000 units, up from the previous week's 69,000, when it debuted at No. 14.

TLC's ``Fanmail'' slides three spots to No. 9 on sales of 100,000, and ``Astro Lounge,'' from alternative rockers Smash Mouth, bows big at No. 10 on sales of 99,000 units.
