'Millennium' Extends Reign On Billboard 200

In addition to having the biggest sales week in the SoundScan era, "Millennium" has now rung the most sales for an album's second and third weeks. The set has moved 2.19 million units in 21 days; that total bests Garth Brooks' previous sales record for "Double Live" (Capitol Nashville) by 20,000 units. In addition, four albums debut in the chart's top 10 this week. Rapper Ja Rule's "Venni Vetti Vecci" (Murder Inc./Def Jam/IDJMG) comes in at No. 3 on the strength of 184,000 units, while Tru's "Da Crime Family" (No Limit/Priority) lands at No. 5 with 139,000 units. Jennifer Lopez scores the No. 8 position with her Work/Epic debut "On The 6" (112,000 copies sold), while modern rockers Blink 182 pop on at No. 9 with their MCA set "Enema Of The State" (110,000 copies). Lopez retains the No. 1 slot on The Billboard Hot 100 with "If You Had My Love" (Work/ERG), while Maxwell remains atop Hot R&B Singles & Tracks with "Fortunate" (Rock Land/Interscope/Columbia). Ja Rule's "Venni Vetti Vecci" rockets to No. 1 on R&B Albums; street violations led the set to prematurely chart on that list last week. Shania Twain's "Come On Over" (Mercury) retains the top slot on Top Country Albums, while the new No. 1 on Hot Country Singles & Tracks is George Strait's "Write This Down" (MCA Nashville).
