Date: May 26, 2099 The official numbers won't be in until Wednesday, but early word is that the Backstreet Boys may have made history with their latest album, "Millennium." According to music industry insiders, the Boys' second album might post the biggest first week numbers in the history of SoundScan, the organization responsible for tracking sales for the industry. Early projections tally sales for "Millennium" at 1.1 million, a number that would break Garth Brooks' record for his "Double Live" set last fall. If the numbers ring true for the Boys, they will not have come without a good deal of work (and exposure). In the days immediately prior to the album's release last week, the group turned up on "Saturday Night Live" and numerous MTV programs, and also taped a live concert special for the Disney Channel
