Since she's older as soon as he got off, she got to use it. When she got off she told me Lauren, my best friend called. Before I even picked up the phone, it rang. it was Lauren. It was around 10 on a school night, so I was wondering why she didn't just tell me in school the next day. "Mandie?" "Yeah..." I said sort of confused. "We have four tickets to the Amsterdam theater tomorrow night "OMGOMG" and a few more screams and OMG!! When I finally calmed down, she told me a bit more. We asked two other girls from our group "The Backstreet Girls" to come. There are five of us, but only four tickets, so me, Lauren, Allison, and Jen were going to go. Lauren and I couldn't even concentrate in school the next day...hehehe. Then right before lunch an announcement came on that said "Can you please have Amanda and Lauren come down at 2:00, thanks" It was the lady in the office, we were like 2? We're supposed to go after school, haha this is even cooler!! So we left school at 2:00. Lauren's mom picked us both up. Everyone at school was like "Oh I'll watch TRL" because they all thought that's where we were going since not only were we in the studios for TRL when BSB was on it but also Backstreet TV, they've also seen me outside of TRL many times!! So, that's where they though were all going, but we weren't. She picked us up early because the train was at 3:07 and it started at 5:00. AHHHH!!!!!!! Allison was coming on the 4:07 train with my mom and Jen was coming ASAP, but there were no guarantees she could make it. Lauren and I were waiting on the WILLCALL line. When we found out our names weren’t on the list, we were so mad!! Guess what though? The list that we were supposed be on had Howie Dorough's name on it!! Under his name said he had 7 tickets. OK, so then we thought something went wrong, they told us to go to the back of the theater. So we went back there, we had to find BSB's Manager because he got us the tickets! Well we never got to meet him, but someone else said to go to the box office or whatever, and sure enough, there were 4 tickets and four green bracelets, what were the bracelets for? We opened up this sheet of paper that was inside the envelope. It said: Join the Backstreet Boys for an immediate party after the show!! AHHH!! Well, here we go!! We looked around and we saw no one else with these bracelets. AHH!! That's when Allison arrived, she screamed too!! OK, wait let me tell you what we were each wearing(we made these outfits, not the pants though) Mandie~(ME)-Abercrombie and Fitch light blue pants with a white stripe down the side. White tank top that said-Millennium 05-18-99 Navy Blue sweatshirt with a zipper down the front, and a hood in the back. On the back of them it said "Backstreet" And a white terry cloth hat that said Frack. Lauren~Abercrombie and Fitch dark blue pants with a white stripe down the side. On the back of them it said "Backstreet" O.K. so these people from the magazine J-14 stopped us. They took just us three, and took our pic 3 times!! and they said we'd be in the magazine, I don't know what issue, but look!! Then we went outside. We didn't know where Jen was. We showed the guy the ticket and he kept walking further and further forward!! We were like, no way were not sitting this close!! We ended up sitting in the 7TH ROW!!!!! They just came out like it was nothing around 10 to 6. We were like the ONLY ones in the whole theater screaming! O.K., now I'll probably get you all confused, but here it goes, stay with me. Lauren and I have an inside joke with Nick. It has to do with one of their old crew members, Mike Corbeil. Well Nick knew who we were, and he just kept on talking about us and especially our Frick and Frack hats!! He looked at us literally the WHOLE time!!!!!! Leighanne was sitting in a balcony the whole time looking at Brian, O.K., and Tim the drummer, who I've probably told you that I’m in love with, he told me he'd never forget me and I have his drumstick....well he also knew it was me!!! At the end of the show he came to me and gave me his SET of drumsticks!! OK so finally we calmed down enough and we went to this party thing that was downstairs. Well we got there and there weren't many people at all!! Lauren, Allison and I were probably the only ones that weren't in Versace or Gucci, haha, even like little girls were in sophisticated outfits and we were getting served food on trays, people were waiting on us, it was cool!! Then we overheard some guy talking and he was like OK they're gonna be in 2 minutes get all the people moved back. All three of us were right in front of the door. They put up a tiny black strip to keep everyone back. The three of us were dead front, dead center. If any of you have the Disney channel, do you know the girl that comes on in between all the shows? She's really pretty, black, and small, but probably like 13 or so...well she kept on tapping me and was like they aren’t coming in until we move back, but I was like I'll move back when the guy tells me to move back, she just kept tapping me, so after awhile I just ignored her, she was annoying!! So then I saw AJ pass right outside the door!! Then they came in!!! This was the order of them, when I was facing them: Brian, Howie, Kevin, Nick, AJ, Lauren, Mandie, Allison How cool is that? Nick was holding my hand like the whole time!! Then his hand moved down to the drumsticks in my hand, I don't even know why he was holding them, haha!! Then he asked me a personal question, he had asked me a question when I went up to him at "Nick Day" on November 2'nd at Barnes and Noble. I thought he asked me how I got the drumsticks, so I said Tim gave them to me. Then he laughed because that's not what he said. He tried to ask again and they practically pushed him out the door, but luckily Lauren screamed "We'll see you Sunday" Nick was happy!! So whatever this is that he asked me on November 20, 1998 and May 11, 1999, he'll finally be able to tell me on Sunday!! I'm guessing that it's about Mike Corbeil, but I'll see, Maybe he asked me how old I was, or if I'd marry him, hehehehe, but you never know! One more thing, the Backstreet Boys have dancers now, 5 girls and five guys. They're cool. They played As Long as You Love Me, Quit Playin' Games, Everybody, I'll Never Break Your Heart, All I have To Give, Larger Than Life, The Perfect Fan, Show Me The Meaning, and lots more!
