Although they didn't win the favorite group award, the Backstreet Boys did win the favorite song award for "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)". The Boys taped a little thank you speach in which Howie thanked everyone for making the BSB their favorite group... I guess that they weren't expecting to lose to 'N Sync. Other winners included 'N Sync for favorite group, Will Smith for favorite singer. Adam Sandler for fave movie actor, Drew Barrymore for fave actress, the Rugrats Movie for fave movie, Kel Mitchell for fave TV actor, the Olsen twins for fave TV actress and All That for fave TV show.
