According to 1999 box office tallies, The Rolling Stones were the cream of the tour crop this year (or at least the top bread-winners), taking home a staggering $89,253,412 in 45 shows. Coming in a distant second was Bruce Springsteen, who managed to rake in $53,010,961 on his reunion outing with the E Street Band. The Dave Matthews Band and 'NSYNC both managed to bring in more than $44 million to land at three and four respectively, and Shania Twain pulled in more than $36 million to round out the top five. Country star George Strait ($32 million), perennial diva Cher ($31 million), the indescribable Neil Diamond ($31 million), Canadian songstress Celine Dion ($26 million), and boy band behemoth Backstreet Boys ($24 million) make up the rest of the top ten.
