Hi!
New York's Madison Square Garden cable tv channel carried the Detroit Pistons
vs NY Knicks basketball game featuring the Backstreet Boys' a cappella version
of the National Anthem. They stood at midcourt, with just their microphones.
They all looked great, but a bit tired. AJ' s hair is now Joey-Fatone-red.
Brian carried the majority of the song with Nick taking over on the "And the
Rockets Red Glare" portion. Both hit high notes I thought only Howie could
hit. All the guys sounded great! The harmonies were incredible as always.
I wish I had a way to share it with all of you.
At least Kev and Brian stayed to watch the game (they are the only two I
actually saw sitting there). Kev was not wearing the sling on his arm. I'll
be watching to see if it is covered on the news tonight.
Take care,
Maggie

Hey waz up all you BSB fans!!
We just got back from the Pistons Game where the guys sang the National Anthem. It was da bomb!! It sounded exactly the way they sang it at that hockey game. They were booed at when they came out. But the TRUE FANS went CrAzY. Nick had a hair cut, Kevin had no sling, AJ's hair was fushia red, and Brian & Howie looked great as usual. They all had shades of blue on. They ran off at the end and the lights went out so no one knew where they went. We couldn't find them anywhere.
Just thought we would let you all know just in case it was not televised.

I have season tickets to the Detroit Pistons so I was able to see the Backstreet Boys sing the national anthem at the home opener. The boys sounded great. AJ's hair is red. Nick had his cut. There was a lot of screaming throughout it. Brian and Nick sand solos. They both looked like they were singing their hearts out. During the "bombs bursting in air" part, fireworks went off. They did a great job!
