- Date: Oct 22, 2099 The Backstreet Boys are coming to the Spokane Arena on Monday -- on video. The popular teen group's Portland concert will be simulcast Monday at 7:30 p.m. on a 20-foot-by-30-foot video screen at the Arena. Spokane will be the only city to receive this live feed. Amy Brown of the Spokane Arena said the group is playing only large cities on this tour, so live video presentations are a way for fans in smaller markets to see the shows. She said this is the first time anything like this has been attempted at the Arena. She said the Spokane show will include special lighting and a fog machine, as well as official tour merchandise for sale. Tickets for this "video screen presentation," as the promoters call it, will be $14.93, which is less than half the cost of the live concert tickets. Tickets will go on sale Friday at 5 p.m. through G&B Select-a-Seat outlets, by calling 325-SEAT or (800) 325-SEAT or by going to www.TicketsWest.com.
