Lindsey's Report on the October Press Conference in Chicago

The Boys Appear The curtain behind the stage opened a tad and I saw Kevin!! I always figured I would be calm because I am not the type of fan that screams in their faces and attacks them and things like that, but something just came over my body when I saw Kevin right infront of me! I almost fell out of the chair and I was grabbing my chest because I could hardly control myself. My Mom was trying to control myself. The curtain then closed and I tried to pull myself together, before it opened and the boys would be coming out! Then, WELCOME THE BACKSTREET BOYS!! I jumped and began to clap and cheer as the 5 guys who mean so much to me entered the room and made the way to their seats. They all looked so wonderful and they look even better in person and they were waving and saying hello. My Mom and I couldn't even believe we were there and they were right infront of us. It was to much to take in all at once. They then said okay line up for questions behind the microphones, if you want to ask the boys a question and they had 2 mics set up on each side. My Mom told me to go up, but I couldn't get myself to get out of the seat, I hadn't soked everything in and just couldn't go up there, I needed to calm myslef down. The boys answerd all the questions and were as sweet as can be and some gilrs asked for hugs and stuff and the boys gave them hugs and signed some autographs. We asked to see A.J.'s tattoo and he lifeted his shirt up and showed us his 69 and you could see his boxers and I about died and grabbed the camera to take a pic, but the camera didn't go!! I was so upset! They were just so adorable! A.J. talked very honestly about his relationship with his fater and how he really doens't trust him and how he hates his step-mother, Kevin was very opened about the way they now have to feel about people, etc. When you get to meet them and talk to them intemitly like this you just realize how wonderful they are and what great guys they are. They were so personal and so open to all of us. Then, they were talking about Kevin now taking Yoga and my Mom shouted out "Kevin I wanna be in your class!" Kevin looked at my Mom and laughed and winked at her. I was yelling at them to look and the camera and waving to them! They were so sweet and so funny! Everyone loved Howie and everyone kept coming up and saying I love you Howie! And he was like "Yeah I like this place!" It was so cute! I can't say everything they did and tell you all the answers to the questions because we got to spend a whole hour with them! Nick ran to sign an autograph They were just wonderful!! The funniest had to be when Howie and Nick were talking about wearing boxers or briefs and they wer elike we wear whatever we can find, we were all cracking up and Nick kept going "I'm Serious." It was adorable and A.J. waslike "You already saw mine." :) I then decided to go up and talk to the boys!! My Dream Comes True! I made my way up to the mic and got in line behind 3 other girls and I chatted to them a little bit and was smiling like crazy and the boys were just sweet hearts! It was then my turn! I'll just go through everything I said and they said...Complete eye contact was on me and they were looking and smiling right at me...I surprisingly wasn't nervous at all and I felt like I knew them or something. I smiled and said" Hey Guys! I came all the way from Charlotte to see you!" They all smiled and A.J. goes "Charlotte!" and sorta sang out Charlotte! Nick also had a NC hat on! Yeah! Go Nick! A.J. smiled and asked if I saw them in concert in Charlotte. I said "Yes, of course and I got to see Kevin's pants fall down!" The whole room started cheering and laughing and the guys were laughing and Kevin was smiling. Then, I said" Well, here's my question have any other embarrassing things happened like that on tour, so far?" Howie started talking about his pants problems in rehearsals and stuff and they were all laughing and talking about Kevin and Howie's pants. I was laughing and smiling. Nick then asked me "Did you see me?! Did you see me!?" I was like "Yeah you flew right over me!" He was smiling at me. [Unable to display image] At the meantime my Mom had managed to pass me the present I brought for A.J. and I passed her the camera. I had A.J.'s gift in my hand, it was in a silver bag with a heart on it. I bought him a silver dragon necklace and a silver Bone keychain that I engraved with his name and a message from me. The woman that was in charged had just before that grabbed me and the other girls and said "No, more giving gifts or asking for hugs!" But this was my one chance and I had to go for it! I smiled and said "A.J. do you mind if I give you this gift?" He smiled and said "Sure." I smiled and said "Thank You". I made my way to the stairs and up to the stage, A.J. had walked over to the stairs to meet me. I handed him the gift and he gave me a huge hug and we were squeezing tight. :) He said "Thank you sweetheart." I about died and we were releasing from the hug and I grabbed his arm and without even knowing it I said "A.J. I love you so much!" He smiled and I was looking right in his eyes. He hugged me again and gave me a kiss on the cheek and said "Thank you so much Sweetheart!" His sideburn scratched my face. I then said "Thank You" and stood right next to Brian and jumped off the stage running back to my seat! My dream had come true! My cheek was burning from where his facial hair scratched my face. :) It was great! He smelled great and was so sweet! Doesn't he have the cutest butt!? I think he does! :) Brian was also a sweet heart and I didn't know it, but he had moved over and bent all the way down because he saw my Mom trying to take a pic of me and A.J. AWWWW! :) Thanx Brian!! :) I then sat down and was shaking like crazy because I couldn't believe what had just happened. My Mom was as shoked as I was. It continues! It Doesn't End There You can see my present in all the pics!..... The Press Conference then continued with questions BIG NEWS-NICK IS SINGLE! :)The other guys are all dating. The new single is going to be "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely". The boys also sang "Happy Birthday" to a little girl! They were fabulous! The little girl got to sit up by Brian! :) We then asked for them to sing a song for us and they said "Sure, what do you want to hear?" Everyone started screaming out songs and my Mom yelled "The Whole CD!" Brian looked at her and laughed and said "Yeah, the whole CD! Let's have a concert!" He was smiling...They didn't know what to sing, so they yelled let's have a poll..They ended up singing "Back to Your Heart" for us! I was almost in tears and they were so wonderful!!! It was wonderful and I can't even say how much more I love them now! They then had to leave and we all waved good bye and they shook some hands and signed some autographs! A.J. leaving with my gift! It was the best day of my life and I couldn't believe it had all just happened. I also got to meet Tommy because I just happened to run into him!
