Date: Dec 08, 2004 Happy Holidays! December 6, 2004 This holiday season is especially exciting for all of us. We’re home with our families now but we know that 2005 is going to bring many great opportunities for the group. Thanksgiving was especially nice this year. We weren’t together but we made sure to get in touch with each other to send our holiday wishes. Nick and Kevin spent Thanksgiving in LA, Howie was in Orlando, AJ was in Vegas and Brian was in Kentucky. AJ and Nick had a great time in Rome for the MTV European Music Awards. The trip was short but their schedule was full. On Wednesday, soon after they arrived, they did TRL Italy. The studio overlooked downtown Rome and there were lots of Backstreet fans out to show their support. After that they did a TRL UK interview, then they were off to do 40 minutes of Italian press at a nearby hotel. Soon after that, they went shopping for about an hour, then it was on to dinner with some people from our label followed by a Fendi party that night. The next day brought about more press and of course the awards show. They presented the Black Eyed Peas with the Best Pop award. This year has really gone by fast. We’ve been working on our new album for all of 2004 and right now we are more then ready to see it in stores. The album is great and we think that it shows a lot of growth from past albums. We are looking at a March release date and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it doesn’t change. It really is amazing how many details go into making an album. Even the smallest thing can push a release date back. Our single should be picked soon. We’ve narrowed our selection down to a few different songs and we’re trying to come to a mutual agreement on which of the choices to release first. Right now we are looking at a late January release for the first single. As soon as we nail down an exact release date we’ll be sure to let you know so you can listen for it and request it on the radio. That’s it for now. We want to wish all of you a happy and safe holiday season filled with countless blessings and wonderful memories! Backstreet
