McLean's mother Denise — who acted as the band's publicist and fan-club coordinator during its beginning stages — is putting out a book this December about her experiences with her son's group. It's called "Backstreet Mom: A Mother's Tale of Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean's Rise to Fame, Struggle With Addiction and Ultimate Triumph," and Denise told MTV News that the book will also contain several previously unpublished pictures.
