"Golfing with Brian," the second Healthy Heart Club Fundraising Event!

Date: May 21, 2003 Source: Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids Submitted By: Brandon Edgington, Coordinator BLHHC for Kids The Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids is proud to announce its second fundraising event, “Golfing with Brian!” On June 30, 2003, seventy-five guests will have the opportunity to join Brian and his family for a morning of fun and golfing entertainment at the beautiful University Club of Kentucky. Nestled between the rolling hills and picturesque landscape of Central Kentucky, the University Club of Kentucky is located on 300 acres of golfing bliss. The Club features 36 holes of championship caliber golf and is the official home of the University of Kentucky men’s and women’s golf teams. General admission to the event is $150 per person and is limited to fifty tickets. Each paid general admission ticket includes a buffet breakfast, a question and answer session with Brian and Leighanne Littrell, a live and silent auction (featuring an outfit worn by Brian during one of the Backstreet Boys concerts and other once-in-a lifetime mementoes), and a special golf clinic with Brian demonstrating golf techniques as only he can. In fact, a few lucky attendees will get the chance to show off their golf skills while hitting a few golf balls with Brian (don’t worry, we’ll supply the clubs, if you and Brian provide the laughs). Each event attendee will also receive a gift bag filled with Healthy Heart Club items and a limited edition autographed picture of Brian. Check out the following list to see what is included in the gift bag: -(1) Limited edition autographed picture of Brian Littrell. This picture will only be made available at the “Golfing with Brian” event. The photos will be individually numbered and never sold, given away, or auctioned off by the Healthy Heart Club again. -(1) Letter of authenticity for the autographed photo of Brian. -(1) Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids khaki embroidered visor. -(2) Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids pens. -(2) Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids Post-it notes. In addition to the general admission tickets, 25 individuals can purchase V.I.P. tickets for $250 per person. These individuals will get the opportunity to personally root for Brian during nine holes of golf as he plays in the first ever Brian Littrell/Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament. This means that you will actually follow Brian and his team during the first nine holes of golf (please dress for warm weather). V.I.P. ticket holders will also receive a special photograph commemorating the event, a lunch provided by Chick-Fil-A with Brian and his family, and a few extra surprises in their gift bag. Be prepared to give your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information when purchasing a ticket. Tickets and event information will be mailed to the purchaser at least two weeks prior to the event. Indicate the attending person(s) when filling out ticket request information. Please make sure all personal information is complete before placing your order. This information will be used to determine seating arrangements. Tickets can be purchased via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express (sorry, no debit cards or checks accepted). All proceeds generated by the “Golfing with Brian” event will go towards the Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids. The Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids is a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1999 by Brian Littrell and the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation. The club’s goal is to provide free exercise counseling and heart-healthy education to children ages 8-12. “Golfing with Brian” begins at 8:15 a.m. and will end promptly at 12:00 p.m. No video cameras are allowed. However, you may bring a personal camera to the event. Please note, a paid admission ticket to the “Golfing with Brian” event does not qualify you to play in the Brian Littrell/Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament. All ticket sales for the “Golfing with Brian” event are on a first come first serve basis. No exceptions will be made and no special treatment will be given in regards to ticket sales. All sales are final and no refunds will be given under any circumstance. A rain delay policy will be in effect and the “Golfing with Brian” event will go forward rain or shine. Do not call the University Club of Kentucky regarding the “Golfing with Brian” event.
