Date: Jan 30, 2003 For Kevin Richardson, getting a chance to star on Broadway was a lifelong goal. That other pop star thing? Just a sidetrack! Backstreet Boy Richardson got to see his dreams come to life when he celebrated his opening night as Billy Flynn in Chicago on January 29. The show, which is enjoying some bonus buzz from the celebrated film version, is now going strong at a new home: the Ambassador Theatre on 49th Street. Broadway.com stopped by the Times Square Grill to toast Richardson (and birthday boy/Chicago publicist Pete Sanders!) on his big night. Photos by Bruce Glikas for Broadway.com
