- Date: Aug 16, 2001 PETALING JAYA: The Backstreet Boys are set to mesmerise their fans here on Nov 12. For the first time ever, Telekom Multimedia will present a concert in Malaysia by the pop group, which has been redefining the meaning of pop music since the release of their 1997 album. The group's Black & Blue World Tour follows last year's Into the Millennium Tour and is brought here in conjunction with TMnet's fifth anniversary celebrations. "This will be the first time that a concert of such magnitude has been planned, so be prepared for the most memorable concert experience of your lives," said TM Multimedia chief operating officer Baharum Salleh. TM Multimedia via TMnet and www.BlueHyppo.com will also be planning a range of activities such as a meet-the-fans session, and contest on radio and online, with lots of freebies and goodies to be won. Tickets will go on sale shortly. Look out for more information at http://www.BlueHyppo.com. Backstreet Boys concerts are known for their spectacular showmanship, special effects, props, and costumes.
