As many of you probably already know, the efforts of this team are getting a lot of press lately. (MTV.com, Yahoo.com, Sonicnet.com, Inside.com, Eonline.com)

While it is awesome that the media is recognizing the significance of our campaign, there is a certain issue that has come to my attention, and I feel it needs to be addressed.

You may have already come across editorial articles and comments about the legitimacy of BSB-OOST and online street teams in general. I would like to take this opportunity to clear a few things up.

Membership in BSB-OOST is strictly VOLUNTARY. We are in no way attempting to exploit the efforts of anyone, especially BSB fans. We are attempting to empower BSB fans and give them the opportunity to help their favorite group online. We are working alongside Jive Records and BSB Management, The Firm, to make this project as fun and fair as possible for everyone involved.

BSB-OOST is a way for BSB fans to gather online with the common goal of boosting album sales for the new album "Black and Blue." We are simply organizing and helping fans do what they would already be doing anyway, promoting the album release. By working with BSB's record label and management, we can show you appreciation for your work in the best way possible... and that is what we will continue to do throughout this campaign. We are trying to give you an incredible online experience, and that's why I'm here. It's my job to please all of you as best I can because you are the ones actually out there spreading the word about the album.

We are all working to help BSB, first.
