It really showed you the more personal side of what has happened the them. The loss of Kevin's father, Brians surgery, Loss of Denniz Pop, the loss of Howies Sister, AJ's sturggles with his father and Nicks problems with his family. The one thing that really got me ticked off while watching this is Lou, Johnny & Donna Wrights actions. Brian was put back on tour 8 weeks TO THE DAY of his surgery. He had to have freakin' oxygen tanks backstage for the first 2-3 weeks. Now that I think about it, he had the oxygen tanks at my first bsb concert, and that really upsets me. If his health was on the line, the concerts should have been re-scheduled. I admire Brian's strength and determination to re-join the BOYS, but he shouldn't have to. Talking to people who have had the surgery, they say they were off work for 4-5 months, NOT 8 WEEKS. I am glad the Boys seperated from their HORRIBLE management, and now are at least included in the decision making process. I also found AJ's story disturbing. His father left and him and his family behind and then once the Bsb made it big started sending him things, and wanting to be part of the family. I agree with his decision, not totally accepting him, because he is his father. I know if my father did that to me, I couldn't 15 years later be like, ok you can be my father again. It doesn't work that way, and things between them will never be normal, no matter how much his dad tries. He can't just decide to support and be there for his father after abandoning him, and for ONE REASON ONLY, he's FAMOUS and HAS MONEY. I found the show very insightful and I have to give props to the BSB for bein' to strong through all this shit! That episode really got my adrenaline on a high. First came Kevs' part which almost made me cry. You saw a part of him you usually never see. Then there was Brian's which also almost made me cry. Especially the part where he said he saw Kev sitting in the waiting room and how hurt he was cause it was like he was reliving the pain of his father's death or something like that. I don't remember the exact words. Then there was A.j.'s which was ok about his dad and I totally agree with him about not wanted to just pick up where his father left off and think everything is ok. If aj was never a backstreet boy, he probably would have never seen his father ever again. Also with the Amanda thing, I know he cares about her and stuff, but with the whole hating her ex's thing is a little too far. Just think, she's with you now and not them! Then came Howie's which was also sad about is sister who was so pretty and so young, but the one that really got me going was Nick's. Now this is totally coincidence about the way i feel because Nick is my fav bsb, but he needs to dump his g/f. I dont know if im the only one that can see it, but she has him eating out of the palm of her hand and is using him. I mean not coming home for Christmas is bad, but not even letting your family know aht your not coming home is horrible! He could have at least been like "Look mom and dad, i cant come home this year cause i want to spend it with my g/f" did he do that? NO! Thats wrong he is slowly destroying a relationship with his family that will always be with him for one with someone who is not. Nick is probably getting all emotionally torn up inside and wont admit it. Im writing a lot now and i dont want hate mail. Jennifer Comment on this item.
