Date: Mar 22, 2000 Kane: "It's 93.3 FLZ the Hit Music Channel, it's Kane... I gotta call my boy Nick Carter, we gotta talk about the uh big game going on this Sunday.." (dialing - rings once) Nick: "Yeah.." Kane: "I need Nick Carter my teammate" Nick: "Your teammate.. uh huh.." Kane: "My teammate.. NICK CARTER!" Nick: "You're my teammate huh?" Kane: "Yeah well we're playing on the same team" Nick: "The same guy who's talking junk about me, huh?!" Kane: "Ah wait a minute, No NO.. Junk is such a not nice word.. I wasn't talking any junk about you." Nick: "No no no.. come on, I got it all taped, they're all on the radio." Kane: "no, no do you want an apology?" Nick: "No, it's cool.." Kane: "Are you sure? Cause we gotta play together.. you know, we're gonna be on the same team, we gotta work together on this........ Here's what I wanna do." Nick: "Mm hmm.." Kane: "This is where I need your help" Nick: "Alright" Kane: " I wanna trash talk the Bucs man.." Nick:" Let's do it" Kane: "I think we're gonna win - you know what as a matter of fact, I know we're gonna win" Nick: "Why not?" (muffled) Kane: "I wanna tell Martin Grammatica.. I wanna tell Warren Sapp.. uh Shaun King, Shaun King's reffing..but I uh I I uh I think we're gonna kick their ass.." Nick: "Well you can say that on the air, I can't" (laughing) Kane: "Why, why can't you?" Nick: "Because.." Kane: "'Cause why?" Nick: " Because I'm a nice guy.." Kane: "Well I'm.." Nick: "I'm one of those... I'm a silent killer" Kane: "Oh, oh that's the plan" Nick: "Yeah man you forgot about that.. You go out there, you act like you got no game, and then...." (muffled) Kane: "So that's your plan, you're gonna walk out there and be like *whisting*..." Nick: "Yeah I'm just gonna walk out there, shoot a couple bricks, and they're gonna think I suck, and then.." Kane: *laughing* "Well, I'm gonna do the same thing, I'm gonna shoot bricks.. but that's not by choice." Nick: "Well.." Kane: "I'm gonna shoot bricks because I DO suck" Nick: "That's naturally, right?" Kane: "well, no, well yeah.. but I'm tall, I got the height - I'm 6'3"" Nick: "Stop lyin'.." Kane: "No for real man that's why I'm.." Nick: "You're lyin'.." Kane: "No that's why I'm gonna stand under the basket" Nick: "No, you're lyin'" Kane: "No, I swear to God I'm 6'3" - Munchie, how tall am I? How tall?" Munchie: "6'3"" Kane: "I'm 6'3"" Nick: "How come I don't believe him?" Kane: "Cause I am! - You, you know.. any time any time you wanna, you wanna have a one on one, you know, if you wanna go out and take care of this BEFORE the game.. we could, cause, let me tell you something..I'm tall and and I.." Nick: "Hey man, if you're 6'3".. you should be able to dunk then" Kane: "no.. well no no no no I can't jump, I have no vertical, I'm just tall.." Nick: "That don't make no difference..if you're 6'3" you should be able to dunk." Kane: "Actually, I've never tried, I'm afraid I'd hurt myself. I can palm a basketball, my hands are big enough that I can palm a ball.. if you throw me a ball I can catch it with just one hand" Nick: "For real?" Kane: "That's what I'm saying.. that's why I'm saying, we got a lotta skill - I may not have the ballin' skill that you may have, cause I do understand you're a lot BETTER than me, but I, ya know.. I do possess some things that may be beneficial to our team.... mainly the fact that I'm tall.. now you can get up on my shoulders.. if you wanna get up on my shoulders." Nick: "Hey well.. hey.. let's do it" Kane: "And maybe get a lil' freaky, you're welcome to do that.." Nick: "No no wait a second..... stop right there.." Kane: "Why? Did I say something wrong?" Nick: "Dude, I ain't gettin' freaky!" Kane: *laughing* "no no no I don't mean I don't no wait wait I don't mean freaky as in like oolhh ahhoooohh freaky.. I mean freaky as in we're gonna kick the Bucs' ass. " Nick: "That's what I'm talkin' 'bout.." Kane: "I mean, we're going to defeat the Bucs silently.. cause we're silent killers." Nick: "Exactly.. that's what, that's what our name should be!" Kane: "Are you bettin' on the game at all, are you puttin' any money down?.... we're gonna be the silent killers?! Yeah, that's not a bad name.." Nick: "Well I'll let you bet for me" Kane: "OK" Nick: "I'm still underage" Kane: "Oh are ya? well I'm only 22" Nick: "For real?" Kane: "Yeah, I'm not that much older.." Nick: "Still two years older than me" Kane: "Oh, yeah that's true..you're 20?" Nick: "Yeah" Kane: "Oh alright, I'll go ahead and take care of ya. But I gotta get 10% of your winning.." Nick: "Wait, wait a second.." Kane: "What.. why?" Nick: "I'm already givin' ten percent away, I'm not givin' out another 10.." Kane: "Come on! Well I'm not gonna do it for ya.. ok, FIVE!.. percent" Nick: "Two.." Kane: "two?! four and a half!" Nick: "ONE" Kane: "THREE!" Nick: "It's goin' down..." Kane: "TWO fine TWO!" Nick: *laughing* Kane: "I don't like dealin' with you, NICK! YOU'RE MEAN! you're all UGHH.. he's a businessman.." Nick: *still laughing...* Kane: "You're a businessman!.. Here I wanna sing you a song for the game.. this song always inspires me to play basketball.. you mind if I take like two seconds to sing you a song?" Nick: "Sure!" Kane: "Okay here we go, I'd like to play you this..this is the uh.. I'm gonna devote this to you.. The uh, The Nick Carter Basketball Inspiration Song!" *song plays in background while DJ sings* Kane: "You can sing along if you like.." *keeps singing* Kane: "You like it so far?" Nick: "Keep going!" Kane: *sings a little more*... "I only memorized the first verse I I haven't gotten to the rest of the song" Nick: "What happened, man?!" Kane: "I I was workin' it and then then.." Nick: "I was enjoying what you were doing.. what happened?" Kane: "Like you liked it how like it was relaxing and soothing or liked it because it got you ready to FIGHT!" Nick: "Naw.. it was relaxing" Kane: "Do you want me to do it again?" Nick: "I'm a gentle person.. I don't like to fight." Kane: "Do you wanna sing with me, you wanna do a duet?!" Nick: "uh uh I'll leave it up to you.." Kane: "Come on.. come on.. let's just do one line, a duet with one line.." Nick: "You go ahead, go ahead" Kane: "How can I just let you walk away is the first line" Nick: "Alright let's do it let's do it" *music starts to play* Kane: "Aight.. it's Kane and Nick Carter.. the Basketball Inspiration song.." *music plays w/ DJ singing & Nick in the background moaning & making noises* Kane: *laughing* "Oh so that's me.." Nick: "Dude, why you keep messin' up?!" Kane: "I ain't messin' up - cause you keep sayin' I sing like my voice is crackin'" Nick: "why you keep messin' up?" Kane: "I'm not messin' up" Nick: "STOP - hey hold on just for a second stop, stop the tape.." Kane: "Ok, what.. what" Nick: "Dude.." Kane: "Yeah?" Nick: "Look man.. aight............let's try it again" Kane: "Again?" Nick: "One more time" Kane: "alriiight...*sighs* The Nick and Kane Basketball Inspiration Song.." *music plays and DJ sings again - Nick in the background makes more noises & howls.... Kane laughs* Kane: "You know, we're supposed to be a team here Nick!" *Nick laughs* Kane: "We're supposed to be a TEAM! We're supposed to beat the Bucs TOGETHER!" *Nick's still laughing* Kane: "You're not helpin' me out much.. shut up! Munch, shut up!! Ya got Munch on your side too" Nick: "eh, see!" Kane: "It's not fair" Nick: "What you doin'?" Kane: "I don't like either of you.. alright hold on a second, Nick tell ya what I gotta take a break here.. Nick, are you ready to reveal the 'Big Announcement'?" Nick: "You better believe it" Kane: "Alright Nick & I have a big announcement, we'll tell ya about it after the break, hang on......." *Commercials come on, Kane comes back to say he can't announce it without his boss' permission.. waiting for his boss to call him back - Later on, boss calls and says ok so the announcement is that Nick will DJ the entire show a week from this Thursday for all four hours of Kane's show!
