Greatest Stranger

She was the one
I adored, I loved
I treated the full attention.
And she's the woman
I gave the word
That she's my one and only.
But now, it's diff'rent than before
Much better to close the door.

I pretend that I don't know her
Every time our paths crossed
And I'm running out of words.
Does she still remember me
After all what's said and done?
She made that magic into my world.
Now is a different story,
At the end, she's not for me.

Now, she's the greatest stranger
I've known all of my life,
she used to be my only one
Who made my day so bright;
Today, she's on her own
And I wonder if she's found her new home.
