However, I heard Nick on TRL and I am so glad he said something about I'll Be the One! I don't care if the whole world is swayed by what Nick says, because I cannot wait to see the Backstreet Boys transformed into the Backstreet Cowboys. I hope they really use the wild west theme Nick was talking about! There is nothing sexier than a dusty cowboy, except maybe a Backstreet Boy pretending to be a dusty cowboy in a video!!!!!!!! Nick's little recurring part is so cute, and it's such a catchy tune!!!! I can't believe it was last!!!! And I can't believe that "Don't Want You Back" was in the lead. That is a dumb song, and if it had won, there would have just been a bunch of comparisons over that and 'NSync's "Bye Bye Bye." If Nick didn't say anything I bet It wouldn't have been chosen. Also, I think it's totally unfair that the Canadian fans had absolutely no say in this unless they heard about it through something like 'Backstreet.net' or 'Bolt.com' like I did. I mean, The One is a great song, sort of like IWITW in the sense that it's not super fast, but it's not a song that drags on so slowly. And I don't care if people would have compared it, because BSB's song is better, both melody wise and lyric wise. I mean, has anyone actually listened to the lyrics of Bye Bye Bye??? "But it ain't no lie, baby bye bye bye.." C'mon! Where did these guys learn english! Good God! Their songs have no depth, they're just shallow lyrics with catchy tunes! BSB's songs have always made me really think about the words and relate them to me and my life. Especially SMTMOBL. Then again, IWITW really made people think too. And I don't care what the guys look like, because I'm in this all for the music, because that's what it's all about. I kind of think it's stupid that people would base their decision on what Nick said. The Backstreet Boys wanted to know which song YOU liked the most.
