I agree to an extent. I mean not everyone is out there raiding their bus, and trying to steal from them. But, some fans do need to calm down. I don't agree with the part that she said about seeing them walking down the street. I guarantee you if I saw Kevin Scott Richardson walking down the street, I am going to stop him, yes I'd introduce myself, and yes, I'd say thank you so much for all the beautiful music you make, all the charities you support, and all the smiles you and your group bring to fans around the world. But immediatly after, I'd ask if he wasn't in a rush, could I have his autograph and take a picture with him. That's the price they pay for being celebraties. But afterwords, I wouldn't stalk him or I wouldn't invade his private life by asking him where he's going, with who, and what time, so I can be there in my sunday best. But, I don't think that the Boys mind an adoring fan's scream or hug. But, no they don't want their things stolen or the clothes ripped off their body. And as far as buying their CDs being trivial. It's not. That's what has brought them to where they are. Buying a CD may be a trivial everyday occurance to us. But, that's what puts food on their table, and clothes on their back. That's what they are in the business for. To them, maybe the precious few of us who are RESPECTFUL fans are...Larger Than Life.

ok, I didn't say that screaming at the concerts was bad. The only time that I mentioned screaming was in reference to waiting for the tour bus at 5a.m. and screaming in that particular situation. With that statement, I asked if the reader would like someone doing that to him/her.

I think that this article was wonderuflly written and I don;t know where you got the idea that she was talking about younger fans because I read it and it said nothing in regards about putting blame on younger fans. If you can show me one place she implicates younger fans I will be shocked because she never puts blame on any age group of fans. I think the fellas as artists and musicians would agree. Any artist for that matter would agree. I will now state on e again teh article was written with warmest regards towards the backstreet BOys themselves.

for their fans.and some people just don't understand that they need some time to themselves ,what they go through is

very tiring ,but they are doing this for there fans.so I will have to agree with writer of this article

Fan reaction is really, in human words, screaming. I don't think we should say that us fans should scream and stuff. I think they appreciate us showing our support for them. A few months back I saw something on CNN that said screaming is a psychological thing. But other than that, I agree totally with the article

I think that this is a good article. If only the Backstreet Boys themselves have read it! I mean, they are so used to criticism and "boy band" stuff, or Seventeen articles that make them look like God's gift to women that they might be surprised to discover there's actually a good article out there!

I agree with everything except for the fact that the author says fans screaming at them are a bad thing I happen to know for the fact that they love the fans' reactions and isn't that why they are singing?

I completely agree with her! I would also like to say that if there is one thing that I could say to the BSB, it would definately have to be "Thank you." Their music has made me feel better in bad times and has made the good times even better! I can't imagine life without having a song of theirs stuck in my head, or turning on the radio and hearing them! I would probably have much more free time if I didn't like them. I wouldn't have a website to update, I wouldn't be hanging up posters of them, and I wouldn't be voting for them on TRL! But many of the BSB-related things I do are part of a way to say thanks in the best way I can. I vote for them on TRL to try to remind them that they have fans who care about them. I dedicated nearly all of my summer to building a website honoring them.

Another thing I would like to say really quick is that I am proud to be a fan! To me, that's what "Keeping the Backstreet Pride Alive" is all about. :) Just had to say that really quick!

If you've read this, I thank you for listening to me! :)

~Sabrina~
