The Backstreet Boys have done so much for so many people and people won't forget about the ways they've touched their hearts. No matter how many awards they win or don't win, we all know that they were first. That they have the best vocal ability, most unique and *awesome* dance moves,great lyrics and music, just the all around creative artistic ability. It makes me so mad when the question of Backstreet "fading" out is brought up! Because they are NOT and NEVER will if you all are as dedicated as you claim! I'm one of the biggest fans and will be til the end! Everyone~Keep the Backstreet Pride ALIVE!!!!! Submitted by mary from quebec ontario Canada Date: Mon Sep 10 10:47:42 2001 oh my gosh do you thing bsb are really fading. what if the first week they only sell like 300 thousand copies or something. what if they dont even sell a million copies.i have this feeeling not a lot of people will go buy their cd cause they have all the songs and could just get drowning from somewhere else. that would be so bad if their cd did bad. they are having such a bad year its extremely black and blue. but i think their cd comes with some kind of video. does anyone know whats on the video. what do you guys think about this? Usually when someone makes jokes about them, I laugh but that was immature, out of line and just...wrong. Sure, alcohol isn't exactly the best way to solve your problems but everyone has different ways of dealing. Fame isn't the easiest thing and to make a crack about something such as that, is immoral. I'm proud of AJ for sticking it out and dealing. That's a true musician and I love him for that. As for them presenting the award, they all looked AWESOME. Especially Howie. And maybe even not winning viewer's choice (even though they deserved it) is a big deal. But what IS a big deal is when Jamie Fox ridiculed Aj. Aj is trying so hard to stay sober, which is NOT an easy task, he's just gotten out of rehab, he doesn't need any hurtful remarks from stupid asses like Jamie. What he did was heartless and cruel, at the very least he should make a public apology to Aj. Submitted by krespie from ca USA Date: Mon Sep 10 00:54:08 2001 i was very disappointed with the vmas, and like nick said, jamie's apple cider comment was "messed up." i don't know if anyone else noticed, but when mtv replayed the vmas, they took that part out. i guess it was the least they could do. but as fans, we know that this is just another one of the many obstacles we have to face. there are many ways to react to this obstacle, but remember that we have reached this far, so we can go farther. sure, another viewers choice award would have been great, but we did not need anyone else to boost our percentage for us. we all know that the bsb are winners already, winners of the maturity award, winners of the overcoming-obstacles award, and winners of our hearts. congrats, bsb! we got your back! we are with you every step of the way, overcoming obstacles and believing in you! bump jamie's comment cuz, "baby, you deserve much better." keep up the great work! ktbspa!!!!!
