Quit being barking dogs and bite back. Radio stations think they have a right to decide what people want to hear. Well they don't ask me. Don't take their crap any more. Don't whine at the DJ's. Go for blood. Write their sponsors and complain that you are treated bad and will not listen to that station any more. The radio stations exist because of advertising. If even one advertiser pulls their adds because fans are unhappy with the treatment then they will start to pay attention. When more advertisers pull ads then they will get the point. Whining at Dj's is common, but hitting at the stations revenues is the adult way of taking a situation into hand. It can't hurt and it might help. Isn't it funny that "Drowning" is the #1 song played in the world?? Yet here it isn't even played on the radio's??? Also, isn't it funny that Justin + the Backup dancers (a.k.a. n sync) didn't even make the list? I have come to the following conclusion: not to put down my country's music (U.S.A.), but the American music industry needs to take their heads out of their a**es, open up their eyes, and look around. When Justin and the backup dancers lose their popularity here, they aren't gonna have no place else to go... cause they AREN'T popular anywhere else in the world. When I went to France the summer of No Strings Attached release, I asked the teen in the family I was staying with if they knew who N Sync was. She replied, "No, who are they, I've never heard of them before." I also asked her friends and they didn't know who they were also. So when they are done in America, they are DONE for good. This isn't the way things will go 4 BSB. Everybody knows about how BSB did their "Around The World In 100 Hrs." + probably most BSB fans (in America @ least) saw them on Diary on MTV. I think it was crazy seeing fans in Rio, by the thousand, turn up @ their hotel just to hear them perform "Shape of My Heart." Same for Japan and Australia, dang BSB has even got fans in South Africa (which I think is awsome). The point I am trying to make is that it doesn't matter if they aren't as popular here anymore. If all else fails in America, they can just go + tour Asia or South America, Europe, Australia, Europe. In other words, THEY DON'T NEED AMERICA!!! (1. please don't get offended, it's just my OPINION, and 2. if you think about it, what I am saying kinda makes sense!!!) If Justin + the Backup dancer's fans think BSB is gonna be gone soon, man are they WRONG!!!! BSB still have the whole world to sing to, and I hope that they won't let what happens here in America stop them from doing it. However, Billboard did not considered this fact. it really breakes my heart everytime that the media backstabbs the BSB. afterwhile, these guys are so...down to earth. in my opinion the BSB should leave Jive records, because they don't have the freedom to publish the duets that they have made with other artists. Backstreet always make it into the top 10 mostly the top 5 in the first week then stay around but you will be lucky if nstink r even in the top 40 next week.
