First I would like to say from a male's point of view that this fued with bsb and n sync is stupid. Now I will be honest and say I don't really care for n sync because there music is boring to me. I think that the media and some fans have made a big deal out of bsb breaking some stupid first week sales. If you ask me I think it was rigged because before the official soundscan figures came out people were predicting that it had surpassed the 2 million mark and some were saying it sold 1 million in 1 day. Does it really matter if they didn't break that record. Everyone knows who the better group is. I usually check this site everyday and I'm tired of n sync fans coming on here and dissing bsb. IF YOU DON'T LIKE BSB, GET THE HELL OFF. If anyone has any comments I'd like to hear them. I only heard a couple clips of the Billboard awards, and I heard the one with Justin yelling and then saying 'Don't get your tails in a tizzy there's enough of me to go around' or something like that, and I'm like 'whooaa, stuck up much?!' and then the DJ(Q 97.9 in Maine) was like 'Not only was that stupid, but he can't act either!' LOL. Then I heard one of the acception speeches Justin made for an award, and they didn't even thank the fans! How rude is that? He thanked the Lord, wich is very important, but whatta bout the fans? Then the DJ was like 'Wow, you can actually hear him cuz no one is cheering!' I thought that was funny... BSB is always thanking the fans, but the lack of caring on N Sync's part is really inconsiderate, and maybe fans will catch on to it! Sorry to inform you of this but that would be N-Sync. Let me see, they just started on online service with MSN and are charging their fans to use it $21.95 a month, if they cared they would not charge their fans at all. Okay lets get to the mass marketing of N-Sync merchandise, there is a scooter with N-Sync decals to put on it, there are the marionettes, there is a tank and bikini set with their logo on it, there are beanie babies or teddy bears with the N-sync boy name and picture on it, and I could keep going on but it would definately take up two pages maybe more. Face it girl, N-Sync only wants your money, so they can make all the money they can, before their popularity dies out, and the little girls find a new group or artist to like. (I'm not making fun of all NSYNC fans, just the ones who like to taunt BSB fans.) I mean, if NSYNC and their fans were so much better than BSB's fans, then why would you be on here making fun of BSB??? Also, the whole stupid one-week sales record thing is not important. I'm GLAD BSB didn't break NSYNC's record. First of all, it would just start the whole thing over again. Second, with every record an artist puts out, they always hope to improve from their last one. BSB did improve from Millennium. Now, if BSB DID happen to break NSYNC's record, then when BSB released their next record, they would have to top THAT if they wanted to improve. It's kind of confusing, but just think about it. Also, when you think about it, what matters more: first-week sales, or overall sales?? Buying the record in the first week doesn't mean anything more than the fact that a lot of fans really wanted to get the CD. It doesn't prove anything. Oh, and the thing about BSB not being loyal to their fans. BSB went around the entire world in 4 days just to give fans everywhere a chance to see them. Sure, BSB could have just done a TV telecast or something. No. They wanted to be there WITH THE FANS. I think that in itself is a great act of being loyal to their fans. I mean, in a way, they don't really have to do anything for us. No one made them do what they are doing. But they are. And they go out of their own time just to make us happy. We take away their privacy. We chase them whenever we see them in a store. I'm not saying all of us do that, but many of us do. I mean I wanted Them to break that record so bad! but just cuz they {supposably} didn't it doesn't make them anyless a group. and it definetly doesn't make NSync any better. When it comes down to it, its not "weekly" sales that matter, its the Music itself and the fact that it probably will end up selling more, but they won't let us know that, it seems as though now and days the Media is so quick to tell us about what BSB "Didn't" do rather than talk about their great accomplishments. I bet if they had indeed broken the record...they would then compare the 1st day sales or 2 week sales just to find a way to make them lose in the end. It is also very true about N*SYnc getting a lot more publicity and attention than BSB's album, I mean it seems that this past year A lot of Industries (MTV, JIVE, etc..) have been so cold toward BSB and working against them while being "Kiss asses' to N*Sync. You just can't trust anyone. It really does make me sick when i turn the Tv on and i see So much ackknowledgment to N*SYnc, while BSB is getting no promotional help at all.
