I couldn't believe that after waiting several months to see my most favorite group in the world perform, wasn't gonna happen for another two months. But then I realized that it was only for the better of A.J. as well as anyone else who needed to recover from this ordeal. Sum 41 IS a group of Canadian boys who love to play rock music. But just because you play rock music doesn't mean you rebel against your parents. Look at that little teenybopper AJ. He was supposed to be a good role model who never did anything wrong, but he went out and got hooked on alcohol. HE'S the rebel. He tries to do idiotic stuff just to get attention. Everyone who's been to a concert of them or watched one on TV knows that is true. He screams and acts like a maniac. SUM 41 shows people not to be afraid to let loose and have fun. To enjoy life and take risks. Their video says it all. It shows what life is all about: playing music, acting stupid, and having fun with your friends. Don't revolve your life around AJ. Don't worship the ground he walks on. Instead of sitting there crying about AJ, you should thank God for being alive. Go out with your friends to a movie. Invent a crazy new dance. Take risks. Life moves too fast to worry about stuff like "Oh I wonder when I get to go to the BSB concert" and blah, blah, blah. Live your life for you, not AJ. Be yourself. Have fun in life. You only get one chance to make your life fun and adventurous. Make it count. Not to mention any names or anything, but some girls(*cough cough* sum 41 fans *cough cough*) are being extremely rude and we're just letting them know that their actions and posts are immature and unnecessary. If you want to promote your band on the internet, more power to you, but we're here to share our feelings about AJ and the postponed tour. If you want to tell everyone to vote for Sum 41, you're not going to get very far here, because frankly, we don't care. We're here because we are fans of the Backstreet Boys, not Sum 41, although they are an awesome band. If all you're trying to do is start a fight, then you've succeeded. But that doesn't exactly say much for you, because it just makes you look like an immature nobody. I believe that they should take all the time they need to straighten things out and become stronger again as a unit. It will definitely be worth the wait when all five of them come back stronger than ever before, all healthy and happy. Also, I'm just wondering, why are we fighting on here? I thought we were here to give our love and support to BSB? I'm not trying to accuse anyone, I'm just saying that we should probably stop fighting and just focus on the thing that brings us here in the first place: BSB. They need our love and support now more than ever, so let's give it to them. Just put all our differences aside and pay respect where it's due. And the songs for today is Backstreet Boys Not For Me and Mariah Carey's Never Too Far Away. I need everyone right now to go to www.z95.com (which is my radio stations website) and vote for them. We only have 1 hour to make sure BSB wins against Mariah Carey so go to that website, click on Musik, then Hit Election and then vote!!!!! They need to win because if they win 10 nights in a row then they retire on the wall of fame.
